About: I don’t have pets of my own due to family reasons, but I’ve been around animals my whole life. I’ve walked and cared for large breeds like a Great Dane and a Husky, and sat for smaller dogs like pugs and Frenchies. I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size and always keep your dog’s safety and comfort as the top priority. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me some flexibility. I’m available for walks early in the morning or late afternoon and drop-ins late afternoon on weekdays, and I’m open for longer sits on weekends in the evening. My house is gated and closed off with a yard, so if needed, that’s a secure option for your pet. I’m very interested in dog training and have experience walking dogs of different sizes and temperaments, so I stay alert and adjust my approach to keep your pet calm and safe.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when our family adopted our first dog, a bull terrier mix named Sadie. Being a shelter dog she required a lot of love and patience to build trust. At a young age I read books and worked with her every day to ensure her safety and happiness. She lived a solid 16 years with us. Over the years I've cared for several pets, mainly dog, cat, and chicken sitting for friend's/family's furry (and feathery) children, and even raised my own Golden Retriever, Samson, who's currently 8 years old. I'm extremely attentive, nurturing, reliable, patient, and detail-oriented for pets with medications, special diets or specific routines. I've cared for puppies, youth, as well as senior animals. At the moment I've been dedicated to focusing on my craft as an artist which has allowed flexibility in my schedule. My current availability is Monday - Sunday, mornings/afternoons/evenings and I'm even open to overnight care. I currently cannot host pets in my home, as I live with 2 cats who are not open to sharing their space lol, but am respectful of the client's home and my first priority is your pet's safety.

About: I have been doing overnight house-sitting with dogs for over 15 years. I work with animals as a full time job but do not have any pets of my own. I love dogs so much and love cuddling, playing, and walking with them. I find joy in keeping them company while their people are away. I am very skilled at reading the animal's energy and know when to push and when to back off. It is important to gently establish dominance in the relationship so that the dog can know who is in charge and feel more secure. I work at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek. Here is work with and handle live, California native wildlife. I work with them and do training with them to reinforce desired behaviors with positive reinforcement. Working with wild animals, it is very important that we key in and pay attention to the animal's body language and posture in order to avoid unpleasant or unwanted behaviors. I am available for walking dogs any day of the week. I can walk throughout the day on Fridays-Mondays, and Tuesday-Thursdays I am avaiable in the late afternoons and early evenings. I can visit with cats on the same schedule. I will care for your animals in your home as instructed. I love taking dogs for walks and hikes, or to the local dog park. I am unable to care for animals in my home because I have a small apartment that already is home to two cats and two lizards.
