I am a graduate student completing a part-time internship three days a week. My schedule is most flexible on Mondays, Thursdays, and weekends. On most weekdays, I can provide early morning, afternoon and evening care, as well as overnights when appropriate.

While I cannot currently care for your pet in my own home, I will take the time to get to know your pet's home environment to ensure their (and your home's!) safety, health, and happiness - double checking to lock all gates and doors, being vigilant on walks around other animals, and focusing my attention on your pet. I make an effort to leave your home exactly how I find it, with items returned to their proper place.

Please let me know about your pet's general demeanor and anything that your pet might have a strong reaction to, particularly other animals or people. Any diet, allergy or medication needs your pet may have, as well as emergency and vet contact information, is a must!
A typical day
I prioritize regular walks, exercise, and play time for your pet. I love to start the day with a walk and will take your pet outside every few hours throughout the day. I do my best to stick to your pet’s regular schedule for meals and walks to keep them comfy and happy. If your pets likes to play, I will be sure to include that in addition to walks and meals. I always make time for lots of cuddles while I read or study!

As a pet caregiver for over a decade, my love for animals has only grown! Neighbors, coworkers, friends and new faces alike have all relied on me to take care of their furry family members, and I try to go above and beyond to help. I have experience caring for senior pets as well as those with special medication or dietary needs. I generally respond to messages within the same day, but may take longer to answer on weekends - thanks for your understanding. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

My kitties usually take a few days to interact with any sitter, and they warmed up to her right away. All was clean, and kitties weren’t stressed when we returned. Would highly recommend!
Emily was great! We had to leave town last minute and she was gracious enough to agree to visit our senior kitty while we were gone. She took such good care of him and she even brought in a chewy package without being asked. He was a happy kitty when we got home. Thanks Emily!
I booked Emily last minute because our scheduled pet sitter had to cancel. She was accommodating and reliable. She followed instructions that I provided for our three kitties. Most importantly, my normally shy kitties trusted her enough to interact with her. Will be booking with her again.
