About: We have spent years loving our own dogs, and honestly, we treat them better than we treat humans. :-) When your pup stays with us, they aren’t just being watched, they are joining a household, dedicated entirely to belly, rubs, naps, and maximum comfort. Since we have two little friendly dogs and a cat of our own, your pet will have a built-in social club and will never feel lonely. Since I already work out of the house and care for my own pets all day, adding your dog to the mix will fit seamlessly into our daily routine. I am constantly here to open doors, handout treats, and provide supervision making your dogs care, a natural extension of my everyday life. Thankfully, she has restored my faith that great catsitters do exist - and her cat room was literally like the Ritz Carlton for cats. There were scratch pads, cat towers, window seats, high and low places for cats to relax and feel safe. In all the photos she sent my cats looked relaxed and comfortable, and when I picked them up they were brushed and well fed, as well as still relaxed and comfortable. Peace of mind is worth it! I personally have two senior cats and an 8 year old dog. I have been dogsitting and catsitting for six years. I usually take my clients dogs on walks in the morning and in the evening to keep them active and stimulated. This changes per client and their dogs needs. I can give medication to my clients dogs if they have any. If grooming and hygiene is requested by clients, I can fulfill their needs (ex: brushing, bathing, drying, brushing teeth).
About: Growing up with an adorable mixed shelter dog and introducing an adopted King Charles Spaniel into the family, I learned how to care for both high and low energy dogs. I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for 30+ years and walked them in a professional sense for five. About: We always had pets while I was growing up, mostly dogs and cats. I first adopted a dog on my own when I was in my early 20s, a beautiful chocolate lab named Riley. When I got engaged to be married, we rescued a small dog, Niko - our first baby. Niko sadly passed away in 2023 at the age of 17. She is greatly missed. In more recent years we brought Huckleberry into the family as a small puppy. He is a wonderful Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. He was Niko's best friends. We have always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, rats, etc. I am recently divorced and missing being around Huckleberry every day, and I would love to meet your beloved pet and would enjoy a check-in or a walk. I am currently doing consulting for a variety of companies in the medical technology space, providing me plenty of time to hang out with your dogs. Weekend days are the most wide-open, but during the week I also have plenty of time each day. I cannot host pets in my home and am available to drop-in and pick up dogs for walks from a client's home. Any care during a check-in or walk would be through gentle care and support, and hopefully some fun for all. I will talk with the client about any specific needs and requests.

I keep to the main community areas of your home and require access to one bathroom. I will assume any other place as off-limits unless otherwise specified. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when my stay is over.
