About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a young child, my family always had at least one dog. I am comfortable with spending time with dogs, walking them, playing with them, and anything special care they may need! I’m currently a part time college student (I’m starting college later in life) so I have plenty of time to be able to visit and hang out with pets. I always make sure the cats’ needs come first, checking all doors and windows are secured, and that there are no hazards. I’m very calm and patient, whatever energy and mood the cat is in, that is what goes!

That span taught me to tune in to each dog's needs by age and personality: the gentleness a senior needs, the structure a young dog needs, the patience a puppy needs. I walk, play, and cuddle; I also handle medications, feeding, and even home-cooked meals when needed. It means I tend to click with new dogs fast. These days I don't have animals of my own, which makes the time I get with clients' pets feel like a gift. This is also my full-time work — no day job pulling me away. I feel really lucky. I'd love to chat about what your family needs. When I'm house sitting, your pet is my home base. I may step out for a walk or two with another client during the day, but your baby's routine comes first and they get the bulk of my time, love, and care. When I'm not house sitting, I'm available every day after 11am for walks and drop-ins from Oakland up to the El Cerrito areas. To keep things safe and comfortable, I never walk dogs from different households together. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I’d love to care for and walk your pets. Dog park romps, petting sessions, and snuggling provided. I care for them in my home or drop into your home as needed. Experience with large animals, geriatric and young animals. If you are traveling and need a reliable, fun, experienced sitter for your pets, I’d be happy to do a meet and greet and meet you and your pets. I have a 6year old neutered male Australian Sheppard and a 2 year old indoor/outdoor cat. Both are amenable to sharing their space with new furry friends. I'm an active retiree so I have plenty of time for your furry family members. My dog loves to play with new furry friends or chill and give them space. I have a fenced yard and dog door for in and out privileges. I accept dogs that are crated at night or free roaming. Home is well suited to pets.

About: Aside from owning my own dogs for over 10 years, I have worked as a professional pet-sitter and dog-walker for 5 years. I make sure to be intentional with how I spend my time with your loved one and bring them back feeling cared for and hopefully tired! I'm currently a part-time student, so I will have lot's of time to dedicate to your pet! I am mostly available to sit or walk on weekdays between 12 - 8 pm but if this time frame doesn't work, feel free to send me a message and I would be happy to accommodate you! I make sure to keep an eye on them at all times and will diligently follow whatever rules or other safety precautions you have inside or outside your home. I am loving yet respectful of their space, and comfortable with different types of pets and personalities.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting and a pet owner for most of my life. I grew up in a 2-3 dog household and recently had my pit-mix Marla. I am currently pet-free but excited to use this opportunity to meet and care for new friends! I have a flexible, part-time working schedule and I am happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I am able to easily by car or transit from where I stay For dogs: I live in a first floor apartment with easy access to a park (3 min walk) and plenty of safe streets for walks of any length. There is a dog park about a 7 min walk from my place. Regardless of where I am, I enjoy taking long walks and am very patient and attentive when in public with dogs. For cats: I am happy to care for them in whatever way they need whether that includes giving a lot of attention or space if thats what they prefer. Providing food, water, play and a comfortable, safe place to coexist is my goal.

About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

About: I love dogs so much and I know that may sound generic but dogs are so pure and lovable. My love of dogs started with a dog sitting gig that sparked this love and lead me to be a pup parent to Colonel Peanut who passed in 2020. He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area. I have experience with basic training, administering meds, and observing your pup to see what they are telling me they need. I work from home and can be somewhat of a house cat myself if I'm not out for walks with pepperonis. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet's needs. I can accommodate last minute booking so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I know what it’s like to be a pet parent so I will treat your pet and home as my own. I will make sure to check all the boxes like refilling water, feedings, sharing snacks and giving medications, or cleaning/refreshing the litter box for kitties.

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, both caring for them as my own pets and doing paid dog-sitting. I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs. I have been in charge of bathing, walking, administering medication, and general playtime for a variety of pooches, and feel comfortable navigating dispositions ranging from quiet and timid to outgoing and rambunctious. I truly love all animals and cannot wait to meet yours! I am currently in between jobs, so I have lots of flexibility for pet care. Once a month, I am out of town Friday-Sunday, but otherwise I am open. I only plan to care for pets in clients' homes, not my own. (I don’t have him with me full time) I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual routine, whether that means long walks, playtime, plenty of cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated while you’re away. I am home in the morning and evenings on the weekdays. I am free to take your pets out on walks every couple hours or as needed. I prioritize safety and trust by maintaining a clean, secure environment for pets. I ensure their routines are followed, provide plenty of playtime and affection, and always keep a close eye on them to prevent any accidents. Your pets will feel comfortable and cared for in my home or yours. I have a fenced in yard as well
