About: — Pet Care Experience — Hi there! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care. I’m an active person who loves helping pups stay happy and healthy through regular walks, playtime, and attention. I offer both individual and group walks depending on what your pup enjoys most. This Bay Area heat is no joke — if you don’t live in a shaded neighborhood but still want your pet to get their daily exercise, I’m happy to drive them to a nearby park or trail within reasonable distance. I’m always open to chatting and working out the details that make you and your pup most comfortable. I also offer drop-in visits and house sitting for when you’re out of town. I’ll keep your pup’s routine consistent, make sure they feel safe in their home, and give them the love and care they’re used to. Their comfort and well-being always come first. — Schedule — I work full-time from 6 AM to 2 PM and currently have regular clients booked for the first few afternoon slots Monday through Thursday. Because of that, I’m generally available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting starting around 4 PM Monday–Thursday and 2:30 PM on Fridays. My weekend availability for walks and drop-ins is currently wide open, and house sitting availability is always kept up to date on my Rover calendar — feel free to check there or message me anytime with questions! — Safety, Trust & Environment — Whether I’m out on a walk, dropping in, or staying overnight, safety and security are always my top priorities. I follow your care instructions closely, stay alert to your pet’s behavior, tailor each visit to their individual needs, and send plenty of photos so you can feel completely at ease while we’re together. When I’m house sitting, I do my best to keep your pup’s routine consistent so they feel calm and comfortable in their own space. I’ll also treat your home with care and leave everything just as tidy as I found it. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, well cared for, and getting lots of love while you're away.

About: What can I say? I love dogs! I have extensive experience with dogs and previously fostered them in my home through Hopalong Animal Rescue in Oakland, CA. I grew up with dogs, and I’m currently owned by a handsome red Doberman Pinscher named Cairo. I’m comfortable with all breeds. I work full-time in the marketing industry but have a fairly flexible schedule. I regularly hike with my dog, play fetch, enjoy beach days—you name it. These are all things I’d love to do with your dog, too! Whether it’s a neighborhood walk or a hike, your pooch will be well cared for. Take a look at my dog’s Instagram page to see some of our adventures—his handle is @cairothereddoberman. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to working with you! My niche is providing pet care for pet parents who work extensive, non-traditional hours—including night shifts, weekends, holidays, and other irregular schedules. I understand how challenging it can be to find reliable, high-quality care during these times, and I’m here to help ensure your dog receives the love, attention, and exercise they need, no matter your work hours. My company is fully insured and certified in pet first aid. I’m also happy to share GPS location updates while walking or hiking with your fur babies, so you can have peace of mind knowing exactly where we are.

“Lisa was amazing!! She took amazing care of our kitties and home. She provided wonderful updates that gave us lots of peace of mind while we were away”

“Very helpful with spending time Rosie”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life—including my sweet lab/German shepherd mix, Layla, who we lost to cancer 3 years ago. Right now, we have a rescued cat and a 1-year-old pup staying with family back in Las Vegas. We recently relocated to Moraga and are staying with my sister until we get on our feet and can bring our loves along with us. We're missing our pets and would love to love on yours! I'm absolutely obsessed with dogs, and my kids love all animals (they'd bring home every stray *anything* if it were up to them!). We found our cat wandering a park and took her in, so I get where they get it from! I know how important it is to feel safe leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal like they’re family. Whether it’s senior care, playful pups, or cuddly cats, I’ve got the experience, the patience, and the heart for it. I work in mental health remotely and my husband is at home with the kids full time while I focus on building my practice so we have a healthy amount of flexibility. We would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your little loves. We were previously homeowners who rented often and managed multiple properties, so we know how important it is to treat others' home like (if not better!) than your own. We will care for your pets in your home as you prefer, and are comfortable with crates, walks, light training, etc.

“Excellent service overall. Conscientious, detail-oriented, punctual, resourceful, I could go on. What really matters is how much she cares about our animals. Gives me so much comfort.”

“Brandi is super responsible, loves animals and was a joy to work with. It’s such a relief to know our pets are taken care of while we are gone. She Rocks!”

“Anya, is easy to communicate with and took great care of our cat, Pixie.”

“Fantastic house sitter. My kittty was happy and came back to a house better than I left it!”

About: I have had a dog for 7 years and I have also taken care of two of them in the neighborhood. Walking and sharing with them is a beautiful experience. I'm actually working part-time so, I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 10:00 am Taking care of a dog both inside and outside the home requires security, affection and constant responsibility, ensuring that their physical and emotional needs are always covered.

“Amila Masic C. went above and beyond in providing care for our cats, Champ and Jagger. When our prior cat sitter had to cancel last minute, Amila volunteered to fill in despite the extra challenges of securing our house key and was proactive in contacting Rover. In what was a stressful moment, given that we were already out of town, Amila saved the day. During the multiple days of care, Amila provided the utmost care and love for our cats and was helpfully communicative throughout the process. We were happy to return to cats who has been well cared for and an apartment whose floors were immaculately clean—no easy task with two cats and three litter boxes. We highly recommend Amila as a reliable, trustworthy, communicative cat sitter who will lovingly care for and look after your cats and your place.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years, I have taken care of all different breeds, ages and health needs. I am happy to do any exercise and walks needed for the pets. “Whitney was an amazing sitter for our cat! We got lots of pictures and updates. She was very flexible and responsive and kind, even though we have a pretty bossy cat. We went on a trip where we had periods of time without signal and we weren’t worried at all. Highly recommend, your pet will be in good hands! :)”

About: I currently do not have pets in my home so all my love and attention will be directed towards your pet! Dogs with separation anxiety do great with me; I love spending time with the pets I sit for and try not leave home (unless I have to) when I'm boarding/housesitting. I have a lot of personal pet care experience living with and looking after pets (puppies, senior dogs, cats/kittens, and rabbits) that belonged to my friends, family, roommates, and my own. I've also cared for both sick cats and dogs. I always maintain dedicated attentiveness, friendliness, and tenderness. I work remotely from home, so your pet will definitely receive a lot of attention, supervision, and care throughout the morning, day, or evening. I really value the time I spend with animals, so I usually almost always stay home when I’m sitting for a pet. Being active and going on walks/hikes is already part of my daily/weekly routine—furry companions would only make them better! I'm definitely a homebody most days, so your pet will have constant companionship and attention. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment near many public parks and trails. I can provide all pet essentials and feed, walk, do enrichment activities, pet/cuddle, and play with your pet. I've also had experience administering pet medication. I can crate your dog if needed.

About: I got my first dog as a young girl and have loved to care for all animals ever since! I grew up taking care of my dog and cat and do animal volunteer work in my free time. I’ve cared for big, small, young, and old pets and I love them all. I care for animals with love, loyalty, and respect. I take care of my own cat at my home and used to take care of my dog until his passing at 15 from old age. I also help my dad to take care 2 cat colonies. I take care of pets with integrity, love, and respect, to the animal and the owner. Working with animals has taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and animal/human safety.

Michael saved our trip when he stepped in after our pet sitter (from another platform) cancelled five days before our departure. Between a family member and Michael's drop ins, we were able to cobble together a schedule to meet our pet care needs. Upon meeting Michael, we could immediately sense how comfortable and adept he was at handling Sky, our 100lb American Bulldog, and caring for two persnickety senior cats. We felt at ease with his calm demeanor, knowledge and experience with cats and dogs. He was easy to work with and flexible to accommodate our family member's changing work schedule. We found happy and healthy pets when we returned home. Thank you, Michael, from the bottom of our hearts.

Excellent care for my rescue kitty. My fussy tabby cat demands a lot of attention, play and affection and Michael cared well for him while I was away.

Elsa took care of both our cat and dog while we were away. She was professional and attentive to every detail and even came by in advance of our trip to meet our pets and family. This put us at ease because we were hesitant to use pet sitting services. She was warm, friendly and both of our pets took to her quickly. If you’re looking for a top notch pet sitter, I highly recommend Elsa.

Tara did an awesome job dropping in and taking care of our cats while we were out of town. We met her before we left and knew we could trust her! Our cats were in great hands! We loved the photos that she sent and how clean the litter boxes were when we returned! We would definitely hire her again!! Thank you so much, Tara! 😻😻
