If we don’t have time for an outing, we bust out the backyard toys to still get in a good chunk of playtime :) Banshee (1.5, pug mix) is always down to play tag with pups that have more energy, and Azula (6, pug) is ready for a couch nap partner all day long My large backyard is fully fenced, to keep my two small dogs safe. Even so, we never leave dogs unsupervised! I am a lover of (force free!!) crate training to keep dogs safe and secure when left alone for short periods of time, but as a remote worker this is rarely necessary. After 20 years in Moraga and now as an empty nester, I have the time and flexibility to focus on something that brings me genuine joy—spending time with dogs. When I needed care for Frank and Peri, I was never completely comfortable with the idea of them spending their days running through a stranger's house, jumping on furniture, or sleeping in someone else's bed. We operate more like a boutique daycare and boarding facility than a typical home stay. Dogs spend their days in a large, flat, fully fenced backyard designed for play, exploration, socialization, and relaxation. They have plenty of room to run, places to nap in the shade, constant access to fresh water, and caring supervision from me and my staff throughout the day. A typical day starts around 6:30 a.m. with outdoor play and activity, followed by a midday rest period and more socialization and exercise in the afternoon. In the evening, dogs settle into the Dog Den, our dedicated sleeping area designed specifically for their comfort and safety. The goal is simple: a place where dogs can be active, social, safe, and genuinely happy while their owners are away. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable place for dogs to be dogs. The property features a large, flat, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, roam, play, and explore. There is always access to fresh water, shade, and comfortable places to rest. Dogs are free to move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day while under supervision from my staff and me. At night, dogs sleep in a dedicated room we call the Dog Den. Dogs may sleep in their crate if that's what they're accustomed to, or comfortably outside a crate if preferred. Owners provide their dog's regular food so we can maintain familiar routines and avoid digestive upset. Whether your dog is a playful youngster, a laid-back adult, or a beloved senior, we strive to provide a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home while you're away. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

I keep a structured and dependable routine, which makes me very organized when it comes to caring for pets. I have workouts in some early afternoons but I’m available throughout the late afternoons, evenings, and off all weekends for walks and playtime. I make sure every pet gets regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of love while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible! I live in a pet-friendly and fenced-in apartment where I only host up to two pets at a time, allowing me to give each one plenty of individual attention. If your pet likes to socialize, I have a roommate and teammates that are pet lovers as well! About: I have one French Bulldog, ZaZa who is three and a tiny poodle mix, Blake, who is 2.5! Blake has lived with me throughout most of my college experience ever since he was 2 weeks old. I trained him by myself while also taking care of zaza from time to time! I just graduated from UC Berkeley, and I am currently looking for a part time job, but as of now I am completely free to focus on caring for doggos! I also have my dog Blake at home with me, so I am open to fit with your schedule. Blake is an energetic dog, so I like to take him out on 3-5 walks everyday. I also take him to the dog park once a week to help release his energy and interact with other dogs. I have plenty of toys at home, and training treats! Since Blake is a poodle, and he has long curly hair, I have a grooming kit at home as well that we use once every two weeks!

About: I own the cutest lab poodle who just lost her sister due to old age and needs friends. It can be a dog or cat. I don’t have a job right now. I am working on getting a job remote and will have a lot of time caring for animals. I usually watch tv with cats or play with toys for either a cat or dog. I like walking dogs too. I make sure to feed them and refill the water bowls at the exact same time of day.
About: My golden retriever Bearon lived to be 15.5 years old. He’s large dog, sweet, trustworthy and funny. My Grandmother lived to be 105 always had a dog. Our family takes care animals like they just as important as humans. My availability is asap. Special skills would be to treat your animal like you prefer and make them feel at home. Key factors such as trust, safety and communication. These essential skills are very important to make sure the animal is alright and in good hands. Dogs emulate their owners and how you treat them makes all the difference in the world. Overall dog backwards is god so with that said it’s great meaning and represents a biblical term. I treat other dogs like my own. We can go inside or outside. I’m very flexible to completely understand them. I think gods are sensitive.

About: My experience with animals includes volunteering at animal shelters, where I spent time caring for and helping socialize dogs with different personalities and needs. I also have hands-on experience training my own dog, who I adopted when he was 6 years old and had no prior training. About: I have spent my entire life with at least one dog in the household. I currently own two of my own that are ready to welcome slumber pawty guests! I have used Rover for years so I know what I like in a sitter, and plan to extend those same qualities and perks to our guests. My partner Ryan also works from home most days, and has also owned and cared for dogs and cats over the years. We both wake up early and let the pups out supervised in the fenced yard before breakfast. While the yard is fenced, we do keep a constant eye on them as they roam from the house to the yard throughout the day. Afternoon naps on the couch are typical. We usually go on early evening walks around the neighborhood if your pup has an exercise routine you’d like them to stick to. If they are good in public we are happy to take them on hikes. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have an additional fenced side yard with fake turf for when it’s raining and the pups don’t want to go outside.

We operate more like a boutique daycare and boarding facility than a typical home stay. Dogs spend their days in a large, flat, fully fenced backyard designed for play, exploration, socialization, and relaxation. They have plenty of room to run, places to nap in the shade, constant access to fresh water, and caring supervision from me and my staff throughout the day. A typical day starts around 6:30 a.m. with outdoor play and activity, followed by a midday rest period and more socialization and exercise in the afternoon. In the evening, dogs settle into the Dog Den, our dedicated sleeping area designed specifically for their comfort and safety. The goal is simple: a place where dogs can be active, social, safe, and genuinely happy while their owners are away. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable place for dogs to be dogs. About: I’ve had pets since I was young including caring for and owning small, medium, and large dogs. I appreciate the need for exercise and am happy to maintain any rules for your pet to keep consistency. I’m well versed in giving pets medicine, training puppies with voice, treats and eye contact. I currently have a 60lb dog that is strong and unreliable meeting dogs on leash so I am versed in managing larger dogs and boundaries needed in their care so they feel supported. (My dog is with me 50% time and I will only take in sitting jobs when she isn’t here). I also appreciate and care for cats though I have never owned one. I work full-time from home and a two bedroom apartment, and I’m available to board. I walk regularly and have my own dog 50% time. I will only board when I don’t have her. I can do fast walks, slow walks, and I have a car to take dogs to hikes if that is desired. I have an unfenced yard for quick potty breaks if needed, but prefer walking dogs on leash around the Elmwood neighborhood if they are staying with me. It’s good to get exercise! Also happy to walk them in your area if I’m just doing a house visit. I have a laundry room where I can close off any pet food storage if your pet is adventurous and gets into things. I like building trust and boundaries with dogs early so that they can feel secure. I also love playing with toys and keeping them in rotation whether that’s a Kong, pull toys, cat feathers or mice, etc.
