“My elderly boxer, Shug, had his first stay with Kit last week. It was a great time for him. Kit is warm and responsible. When she was concerned about an ongoing eye problem of his, she didn’t hesitate to phone me for a consultation. Her love for dogs shines. She is able to manage her own two dogs and several guest-pups at the same time. Kit’s premises are dog heaven. She has a large hard-scaped courtyard as well as an open hillside for outdoor play. Her guests are welcomed into the house and given plenty of cuddles and affection. Shug was given lots of human attention and canine socializing. When I arrived to pick Shug up, he initially sauntered up to greet me, then immediately ran back to the glass door to try to rejoin his pup-pals inside the house. It was the ultimate proof that he had a terrific experience with Kit. I’m delighted to commend her to you without reservation.”

My 70lb dog, who can be quite shy around new people, quickly warmed up to them during the meet & greet, which is a testament to their patience and experience with shy dogs. They also took time to answer all my questions and show me around where the dog would stay/the yard during the meet and greet. Throughout the weekend I received regular updates, including photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. Robert and Brian took my dog on long walks, spent time playing tug, and even designed enrichment activities like painting for my dog. My dog returned happy and healthy. Having reactive, anxious dogs can be emotional, and honestly really hard when it comes to finding the right sitter. Stephanie didn’t just handle that well, she handled it with an incredible level of calmness, patience, confidence, and intuition. She asked thoughtful questions, followed our meeting protocol perfectly, and met the girls exactly where they were emotionally. She approached everything calmly and confidently, and our dogs responded to that almost immediately. By the end of the visit, our dog who normally takes a long time before allowing touch was ready to give Stephanie kisses. Our other anxious pup was already listening to cues and happily doing tricks for treats. I genuinely feel so lucky we found her. You can tell this isn’t just a job for Stephanie. About: I have taken care of dogs for my friends for years. I love playing with them and making sure they feel safe and loved. I have had a love for dogs since I was a small child. My cousins had a dog who I loved with all my heart. I would always love throwing tennis balls for him and giving him treats (maybe to many at times 😉). I will take good care of your dog and make sure they enjoy there time with me! I am very flexible with my schedule. Most days including weekend I will be available. I currently have no jobs or part time jobs at the moment. I have a very sizable backyard for your dog to run around and feel a sense of freedom. The backyard is fully enclosed, no pet can get out. About: I have one French Bulldog, ZaZa who is three and a tiny poodle mix, Blake, who is 2.5! Blake has lived with me throughout most of my college experience ever since he was 2 weeks old. I trained him by myself while also taking care of zaza from time to time! I just graduated from UC Berkeley, and I am currently looking for a part time job, but as of now I am completely free to focus on caring for doggos! I also have my dog Blake at home with me, so I am open to fit with your schedule. Blake is an energetic dog, so I like to take him out on 3-5 walks everyday. I also take him to the dog park once a week to help release his energy and interact with other dogs. I have plenty of toys at home, and training treats! Since Blake is a poodle, and he has long curly hair, I have a grooming kit at home as well that we use once every two weeks!

Right now, we have a rescued cat and a 1-year-old pup staying with family back in Las Vegas. When I arrived to pick Shug up, he initially sauntered up to greet me, then immediately ran back to the glass door to try to rejoin his pup-pals inside the house.
