About: I've taken care of many dogs from chihuahua's, poodle mixes, corgi's and pointers. I have the most experience with small dogs but would love to take care of your large pups too! I have experience caring for and feeding medication to senior dogs from Muttville in San Francisco and lived and cared for a very anxious corgi for two years so have a lot of experience navigating and understanding when a dog needs space. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I'm starting grad school in late august so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available weekdays and weekends for now and will update my schedule once school is back in session. I have a small fenced in yard if the pup needs a quiet enclosed area to play in. I have experience crating anxious corgis and giving medication and am willing to follow any rules you have to ensure good training and safety for your dog. Ultimately, I just want you and your pet to be comfortable!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, 20 years with cats and, more recently, 6 hands-on years with dogs, including newborn puppy and kitten care. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or quiet cuddle time, my priority is always making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. 🐾 I recently finished my Master’s degree and I’m now working toward my LPCC license to become a therapist. That means I’m fully available right now, 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm, to walk, play with, and care for your pets. 🐾 I’ll make sure your pet is well hydrated throughout our time together and takes any breaks they need. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a park visit, or quiet time at home, making sure your pet has fun and feels safe is always my top priority. 🐶🐱

“Natalie was a great cat sitter for my 16 year old hairless cat. She was thoughtful, reliable, punctual, and followed instructions perfectly. The photos of him licking his chops or emerging from his blankets were so cute! Thank you so much Natalie! I plan to call you again.”

“One word: AWESOME! Vivian was an amazing caretaker not only for our cat Luna, but for our backyard chickens too! Each visit we received a bunch of photos of both Luna and our chickens and Vi also came over before our scheduled visit to go over all our instructions. Would DEFINITELY book again!”

“Rong is fantastic! She’s taken care of my kitty a couple of times now and always does a great job. She’s been super accommodating to last minute schedule changes, and is always kind and thorough. My cat loves her and I feel so much better leaving knowing Rong is watching her!”

“Super thorough with our kitties, I really liked how she wanted to meet them first before dropping in while we were gone. Her updates were detailed, you can tell she puts effort and care into the drop ins and it made me feel better about being away from the kitties.”

“Sheryl was great! She was punctual, communicative, and most importantly very great with our puppy. On the days she came to walk him we’d get home to a mellow puppy who I know got lots of love, attention and exercise in our absence. Highly recommend her services!”

“Alix was a great sitter for our two cats! I could tell when I got home they were happy, not out of their element, and had been given lots of love while we were gone! Alix also had great communication and kept us updated the whole time we were gone! Thank you!😸”

“Cassandra has been a fantastic sitter. She goes above and beyond to make sure my new puppy is well cared for (and handled many logistical mishaps on my part with grace). She is very communicative and will also ask for more direction beyond what's listed on my profile. I will happily be a repeat client.”

I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away I’m currently a UC Berkeley student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day and evenings. I’m able to accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, overnight stays, drop-in visits, and last-minute requests when needed. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine and lifestyle I carefully follow all feeding schedules, routines, instructions, walking preferences, and any special care requests to help pets stay relaxed and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very attentive, clean, and detail-oriented, and I make sure pets always have a safe environment, lots of attention, exercise, affection, and supervision. About: I genuinely love dogs and have hands-on experience helping friends who sit professionally. I’m patient with puppies, attentive to seniors, and focused on building trust, safety, and fun. As a STEM student at UC Berkeley, I have free breaks and especially open weekends, which I love spending walking, caring for, and bonding with dogs. In clients’ homes, I follow feeding routines, give walks, refresh water, offer play or comfort, clean up after them, and share photo updates for reassurance.
About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.
About: Hi, I’m Brady. Thanks for checking out my page :) I have been on Rover as a dog sitter for about 9 years, sometimes full time and sometimes part time, I really feel deeply protective of dogs, as well as cats and and really just love them. I always seek to create a calm and safe environment for all the pets I watch. I really enjoy working with new people as well, meeting new pet owners and their pets. I am a Ballroom dance instructor and work 3pm- 9pm Monday-Friday now so if your pet can’t be left for 6 hours then then it’s not a good fit. That being said, I don’t leave the house much, I don’t usually leave the pets I’m watching for very long and many days I don’t leave at all. I feel and have reports that I have a calm and nurturing energy, which helps dogs feel settled, especially those who are shy, anxious, or sensitive. I move at your dog’s pace and focus on building trust, comfort, and consistency. Belly rubs, gentle affection, structured routines, and quiet companionship are always part of the my experience. Let’s chat. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! :) First off I work as Ballroom dance instructor, 3pm-9pm, Mon-Fri, other than that, I’m mostly a home body and love to be around the pets I’m watching! I abide by the rules the pet owner lays out for me to follow, I’m not interested in interrupting your pets schedule or routines! :)

Crystal was again, wonderful with my cat. She is so level headed, reliable, and caring. The challenge this time was an ant invasion around the cat food. Crystal cleaned up the mess (voluntarily), innovated a very effective way to keep them away from the feeder that involved water—no poison. I also appreciate that she went to the store and picked up additional food when there was not enough. She took great photos on each visit, which made it clear that he was in excellent hands. Everything perfect when we got home. Crystal’s capable care made this part of being away from home stress free.

Huck was our cat sitter during our long summer weekend trip. Our cats had special medication and food needs and Huck was very attentive and caring. He communicated regularly and provided photos to us to show what the kitties were up to. When we came home, the house was clean and the cats were healthy and well fed. I would hire Huck again as he did a great job on this pet sitting job and he was really dependable.

Tammy always takes great and consistent care of each of our 3 cats (food, water, litter, play) and is particularly skilled at engaging the cats in fun play, which is so important for the cats' health and well-being. Tammy's signature action shot photos and written updates in the Rover cards are always a treat to see when on vacation. Tammy is really tuned in to each cat's unique personality.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
