“Highly recommend Nicole. She was super flexible and accommodating with drop off and pick up. Spartacus would perk right up when he saw her - I could see he was in good hands. Loved the pictures and updates too!”

About: I’m a responsible and caring pet lover who truly enjoys spending time with animals. My home is a safe, loving environment where pets receive plenty of attention and care. My partner and I work together to make sure every dog gets the exercise, playtime, and affection they need, so your pet will always have company and lots of love while they’re with us. I am a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. I spend most of my time at home or running local errands, so I can easily fit pet visits, walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine. My partner also has a flexible schedule and is happy to help when needed, allowing us to provide consistent care and attention for your pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines to help your pet feel secure and comfortable. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I will provide patient, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, stress-free experience.
“Monica went above and beyond to give Angel a wonderful stay. She has a lovely home and she sent me videos to reassure me of Angel's well being. Angel returned home in a relaxed and happy state.”

“Namrata, took care of my Kona. Kona is usually with me and very attached and takes a moment to warm up. Namrata kept me updated and sent me pictures. She was also flexible and kind. I will definitely be bringing Kona back.”

“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

“I reached out to Mia last minute as our regular sitter fell threw. She quickly responded to my request and was great with our maltipoo pups. They were calm and happy after we picked them up. Thank you, Mia!”

“Our frenchie spent an exciting day with Vanson’s dogs. He loves to run around and that’s exactly what he did. Vanson sent photos and a video of Bentley having fun. This was Bentley’s first stay with Vanson and it was a success.”

“Thank you for taking good care of Megatron, she sits on our laps alot at home so it’s great to know she’s comfortable at her day care and was able to do the same. Will rebook soon.”

“Great first trial with Jess. Our dog Meeko is a rescue and has abandonment anxiety but she did good for her first daycare trial. Thank you Jess for taking good care of her. We look forward to putting her in your trusting environment for our upcoming weekend trip.”

“Aiko has been incredibly patient with our Millie, a rescue who takes a long time to warm up to new people. Aiko's warmth and genuine love for dogs is evident every time we interact with her. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

About: Looking to connect with owners of sweet, gentle dogs! We have two small dogs who are very playful but not pushy, and we'd love to find compatible dog friends. I'm hoping to build a trusted circle where we can help each other with dog sitting when traveling. I can host up to two dogs at a time. Message me if you're interested! 🐾 Self-employed at home. I walk my dogs 2 times during the day and 1 more time before bed. A few times a week, I bring them to Civic Park to socialize with other dogs before dinner. Once a week, I drive them to a nearby nature reserve for a hike. I feed them breakfast and dinner. Same if not more care will be given to your doggies. There are two fenced dog parks in my building that are treated daily with enzymatic chemicals. If your dog has sensitive skin, I will not bring them there to potty.
“I had a wonderful experience with Jessica. This was my first time leaving my dog at a day care and Jessica quickly made me feel at ease and confident that my dog was going to be well taken care of. She responds very quickly to messages and provides great updates throughout the day. My dog came home happy and tired.”

“Our experience with Yena was fantastic! We could tell right away she is very experienced caring for dogs, and at the end of our visit how much our dog loved her day with Yena and the pack. The yard setup is very safe and perfect for dogs - ours had a great day running around with the rest of her new friends and was tired and happy when she came home. Highly recommend!”

Goose had the best time and was tired when I picked him up after spending the day with Jill & Buddy. I had to be. in the office so it was great just knowing Goose had company and play dates. Jill was kind, responsive, and kept me updated on Goose’s activities. Love the shaded trail near by for after walks in the summer. Would definitely book again.

Wow! Luna is amazing!!! She is super sweet and kind, and her demeanor is extremely gentle and calm. Our Yorkie, Jackson Pollock, has been really stressed lately; but, he came home happy and relaxed. We got to see some great photos and a video of Jackson throughout the day. It made for a fantastic time for us, because we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about our dog. That’s such a gift. We definitely recommend Luna and will be having her care for Jackson again, for sure!!! Thank you, Luna!!! You made our day!!!
Malai had a great time at Sant’s place! Sant shared updates during the day and made me feel that Malai was in good hands. His family was very friendly with Malai and his kids played with him in their backyard. Highly recommend for pups who want a family environment for their stay!

We had the absolute best experience with Anastasiia doing day care for our 2 year old Cavapoo. From the very beginning, she were kind, communicative, thoughtful, and clearly so loving with dogs. Our pup was cared for like family, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We received great updates, our dog was happy and relaxed when we returned, and it was obvious Anastasiia had been given so much attention, affection, and care. It is such a gift to find someone you can truly trust with your pet, and we could not recommend her more highly. We would absolutely book again in a heartbeat!
Awa was so caring and sweet to our boy Sparkie. Sparkie had a big smile during his stay and was lively when I picked him up from Awa's. It was very comforting to know that Awa was there giving lots of care and attention. Thank you. We will make another reservation without doubt.

Marien was a blessing to our fur baby Guapo. She was so kind and patient and really took care of him. He looked so happy and really enjoyed himself! We are super thankful for her and think she’s amazing. I haven’t let anyone watch him yet alone it’s my first time leaving him and she made it so seamless. Neither of us were anxious about the experience. 😭 I highly recommend Marien.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
