Calm, Experienced Dog Care 💛 🐕
Hi, I’m Stacy—and caring for dogs is something I’ve dedicated years to. While I’m new to Rover, I bring 10 years of hands on experience volunteering at a well known Walnut Creek animal shelter. I foster dogs, assist with service dog training, walk dogs, and work on behavior—so I’m confident with shy, anxious, senior, and high-energy pups. 🚫 I do not accept: 1) aggressive dogs 2) highly reactive dogs that do not settle with commands/redirection 3) pooches that ‘mark’ excessively or ‘mark’ inside the home. ⭐️ Please be mindful of this requirement.

Stacy was so patient with my anxious boy! Sent updates everyday and made Finn feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Stacy! She took such wonderful care of our dog, Cocos, and made her feel right at home from the moment she arrived. We received plenty of updates and photos throughout her stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Stacy genuinely cared about Cocos, she gave her lots of attention, provided fun toys, and let her enjoy the backyard. Seeing how comfortable and happy Cocos was made us feel completely at ease, especially since it was her first time staying with Stacy. We're so grateful for the excellent care and would absolutely book with Stacy again. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Stacy was a wonderful host and dog sitter! Her friendly and mild manner quickly put shado at ease and she was very comfortable staying in her home. The backyard made potty breaks much easier and also room for extra play. Stacy was communicative and shared updates with pics throughout the stay. I knew Shado was in very caring hands. Highly recommend!

Stacy intuitively knows how to handle Ruby my deaf dog and Ruby had such a great time in her home!

Stacy was such a great fit for our healer with big feelings! She is knowledgeable, kind and easy to communicate with. Stacy sent pics and updates - and it was clear at pickup that Cali enjoyed her stay.
Stacy watched my dog Blackberry for over a week while I was out of the country. She sent updates proactively and was both understanding and accommodating of Blackberry's anxious nature. I would highly recommend Stacy to anyone looking to board their dog.

➡️ Please note- Drop off and pick up is between 6:30am-8:30pm. I’m self employed and work from home with a flexible schedule. When I’m caring for a dog, they are my priority and get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
🔹My home is peaceful, with no young children and no dog of my own—ideal for dogs who thrive in a quieter environment. I have a large fenced yard for safe play or relaxing in the sun or shade, and I live steps from a trail for daily walks if your dog enjoys extra exercise. 🔹I follow your dog’s routine closely and tailor each stay to their individual needs. Safety, structure, and lots of love are always my focus. ➡️ You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel confident your pup is happy and well cared for.
A typical day
A typical day consists of morning potty time, breakfast before 9am, a combination of backyard playtime and exploring, inside naps and cuddles, a neighborhood or trail walk if you want that for your dog, dinner around 5pm followed by more outside or inside play and cuddles before bedtime.
