My connection to animals runs deep. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: I’ve had three cats almost my entire life, and have watched friends’ and neighbors’ cats so I am well versed in making sure they have the care they need! This past year, I got a handful of dog sitting gigs including two hyper golden retrievers and a senior terrier. I’m currently a full time college student home from break looking for something to do to help pay for school! I have full availability open! I am a big rule follower! About: Previously owned and trained our family dog until his passing some years ago. I have birds, fish, and have been caring for family friends' dogs. I am currently willing to help, care, and walk your dogs. A great way to fill in the time as I stay home, go to school, and improve life as to looking forward to care for your dog. My dog was fed a mix of wet and dry food, water bowl always full, and daily drive/park/play/walks/hikes (regarding the weather at the current moment of time).

About: I have loved animals my entire life and always went out of my way to interact with them whenever I could. At the age of 14, my family decided to adopt a cat. We rescued her from the SFSPCA and I was the one in charge of her car. We later adopted two more cats from the SFSPCA over the next two years. I also grew up with Akitas, a Pittbull/Labrador Retriever mix, fish, and hamsters. As a young adult, I adopted and trained a Blue Heeler/Pitbull mix from 9-weeks-old. I also fostered a variety of animals from 2010-2012, from dogs and cats, to hamsters and exotics (including a hedgehog, rabbits, ferrets, and chinchillas). Today I am a single mom with two amazing older children. Our household is still full of animal love! We are owned by an adopted, blind Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel mix, two rescued cats, two rescued tortoises, two betta fish, two African dwarf frogs, a Pixie frog, two scorpions, two vinegaroons, and a Gargoyle Gecko. I currently work evenings only. This leaves my days free to care for my own family’s animals companions and for the animal companions of others! ❤️ I believe in treating anyone’s animals not only with the same respect and care I would want for my own, but also the love and care I offer to my own animal companions. I have animals with a variety of needs and am used to being flexible and meeting animals where they are. ❤️

About: I'm a huge animal lover who has had pets of every sort my entire life, but always a dog! I've had breeds of all sizes and personalities, such as Labs, Shelties, American Eskimos, Frenchies, Pomeranians, and Maltese. I currently have 2 rescues - 100lb Rhodesian Mix and a 50lb Black Mouth Cur that I hike together daily. I’m also a cat lover, with my most at one time being three and now currently owning one indoor senior kitty. I also have experience working in a vet office so I'm very aware of how to handle pets of all ages and various levels of health. I really enjoy hiking and going for walks with the pups and playing ball. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Working through Rover grants me the flexibility doing something I love in spending time with animals around my career as a local real estate agent. I have 2 years of experience with foster dogs as well, and my own dog is a rescue! I am comfortable giving meds of all sorts and also upholding any training your pet needs while you're gone. Finally, I am RECOVER CPR certified for dogs and cats! Let's discuss how I can make your pet feel comfy! My work schedule is currently very flexible, and I am very communicative and good about adjusting my availability. I will not accept jobs on the days I go into the hospital to provide the best pet care. I am happy to follow whatever you communicate with me to make your baby feel comfortable! I am happy to crate them or let them free roam when gone, as per your discretion, and I'm always mindful of objects around the house that could be accidentally ingested or they could hurt themselves on.
