I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. About: Hi! I’m one of those people who can’t walk past a dog without saying hi. If I see a dog while I’m out, I’m probably the person asking, “Can I pet your dog?” My child is exactly the same way! We’re both naturally drawn to dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Three of my own dogs were with me for 16, 16, and 18 years, and they truly became members of the family. I understand how much our dogs mean to us and how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for them when we can’t be there. Our current dog, Pancake, is a rescue and a small, friendly girl who enjoys having company. She’s an important part of our family and will be your pup’s little host during their stay! I also volunteered at two animal shelters, where I spent time caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I am patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s individual temperament. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. My home is a good fit for dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. Because I have a child at home 50% of the time, your dog must be comfortable and safe around children. About: I’m a dog lover and mom. I had a Boston Terrier who passed away. She was by my side kick for 15 years. One of my most favorite things to do was come home from work and walk my dog. So I’d love to share my love of walking with your dog! We love the companionship of dogs. We welcome any dogs for walks and overnight stays. I love dogs and they love me! I don’t mind the kisses or giving them the best belly scratches! I believe dogs give us a reason to smile and are a reminder to always lead with love. I promise to love your dog as if he/she were my own. I’m looking forward to spending time outside in different neighborhoods with new dogs. Please message me with any questions. I work locally and come home for a 2 hour lunch break. My teenagers are home around 3 pm so the longest time that dogs are alone is 2-3 hours (depending on if I have an early lunch). I walk the dogs in the morning for about 1-2 miles through the neighborhood. I walk them on my lunch again for about .5-1 mile. Then one more long walk when I get home. I feed them when we return from our morning and evening walks. Unless, there is a preferred set schedule for feeding. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if he/she is our own. We always walk on-leash. We separate the dogs during feeding times.

About: I trained my reactive childhood dog at 16, and had great success! After he passed, I began volunteering at my local shelter. I can’t afford a dog right now, so I have much love saved up to share with everyone else’s dogs! I work part time, and I’m in school. I’m free Mondays after 2pm and Wednesdays after 2pm - Thursday before 4pm for an overnight stay. I have a separate unit in my home where my cats stay when dogs come over, so don’t worry if your dog isn’t cat friendly! I have a large fenced yard, with lots of things to sniff and squirrels to chase.

My background includes veterinary hospital leadership and many years with the San Francisco SPCA, and I'm also Fear Free Certified. I have extensive experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs, including puppies, seniors, anxious or fearful pets, multi-pet households, medication routines, and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. My Fear Free training helps me recognize signs of fear, anxiety, and stress and adjust my approach so each pet can feel as safe and comfortable as possible. My veterinary background also means I pay attention to the little things. I'm accustomed to noticing changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, energy, or overall wellbeing and communicating concerns promptly. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I'll treat your pets like they're my own, follow their routines closely, and make sure you get plenty of updates and photos while you're away. My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I'm available weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits. I also understand how important consistency is for pets, so I'll do my best to keep their normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines intact while you're away. This includes bathing, walking, tending to wounds, playing with and taking them along on vacation! I am a college student that is studying to be an accountant. I need a flexible job. Dog walking is a perfect job for me, because I love dogs and spending time with them outdoors. I can play with your dogs, give them long walks, brush their fur, and keep them company with dog play until the are tired and happy.

About: I have loved animals ever since I was young! I have a senior dog myself who I've been taking care of for 13 years. I'm very active so I love going on walks. I have experience also taking care of cats when my neighbors would be out of town. I do prefer to only take care of two animals max per household.

About: have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been apart of the Rover community for around 2 years now. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the park or hiking where they can interact with other animals while you're away! My routine is Monday-Sunday anytime and i dont have anything that is blocking this job, I'm flexible reliable on any days if needed thank you! I will not be able to house your pets in my house due to my own pets not getting along with other dogs and cats.
