“I was looking for a dogsitter who can watch Kudo until I leave my shift. I worked a 12hr shift. And I cane across Sylvia. She let me and Kudo meet her and see her yard and know what she usually would do when she cares for dogs. Her yard is great and her vibe is great. During the day she updated me and let me know how Kudo did. I felt bad when she told me Kudo was starting fights and being a “shiba” but I appreciate her willing to take care of Kudo. Even when I told her if she needed me to do anything, she said no need and that she’ll keep an eye on him. If you want your dog to socialize with other dogs and your dog does well w more than 2 dogs - definitely go to Sylvia. Kudo on the other hand may need to be with a smaller group hehe. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

“Catherine was great with our two dogs. Her backyard is a fantastic place for dogs to explore. Very large and fully fenced so there was no worry about escaping. Also, her dog was very good with our dogs, who are sometimes a bit yappy! They settled in and felt very comfortable right off the bat with Catherine, her dog, and the house! ”

About: I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family and friends over the years.
