About: Hi! I’m one of those people who can’t walk past a dog without saying hi. If I see a dog while I’m out, I’m probably the person asking, “Can I pet your dog?” My child is exactly the same way! We’re both naturally drawn to dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Three of my own dogs were with me for 16, 16, and 18 years, and they truly became members of the family. I understand how much our dogs mean to us and how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for them when we can’t be there. Our current dog, Pancake, is a rescue and a small, friendly girl who enjoys having company. She’s an important part of our family and will be your pup’s little host during their stay! I also volunteered at two animal shelters, where I spent time caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I am patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s individual temperament. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. My home is a good fit for dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. Because I have a child at home 50% of the time, your dog must be comfortable and safe around children. I also want every dog who stays here to feel comfortable with Pancake, so I take introductions and meet-and-greets seriously. ❤️ What I Want for Your Dog I want your dog to feel like they are staying in a home where they are genuinely cared for, not simply being dropped off somewhere for the night. About: I have loved animals ever since I was young! I have a senior dog myself who I've been taking care of for 13 years. I'm very active so I love going on walks. I have experience also taking care of cats when my neighbors would be out of town. I do prefer to only take care of two animals max per household.

About: I have had cats growing up and they lived long healthy lives— almost 20 years old! They were my babies and slept with me every night. 6 years ago, my husband and I adopted Luke (bull terrier) and he is the sweetest most beautiful soul. He would never hurt a fly and has been an angel with our almost 3 year old son. Luke is apart of our family and has severe allergies that we take great care of. I promise to take just as much care of your babies as I do my own! I am a stay at home mom at the moment, but also am an active volunteer at the Martinez animal shelter! My schedule changes every week, but I would love to accommodate as best I can! I treat my pets like family because they are!! Your pet will be no different. If they need snuggles or treats, I’m your gal! I can also give them space if they need it and am happy to pick up their favorite toy and play with them. I love all dogs and cats, so yes, I will let your Great Dane sit in my lap!

About: I’ve cared for pets for the past 17 years with a focus on puppy training and development including potty training and behavioral training to socialize pups. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, so I am available to provide the love, care, and attention for your pup on a daily basis. I have a fenced porch yard with a doggie door for dogs to choose where they want to spend their time. I also have a dachshund-mix (Winnie) to keep your fur baby company. Additionally, I have many crates and beds available for dogs that prefer indoors.

You can expect regular updates throughout your pup’s stay. Safety is a top priority. I check my yard regularly for potential hazards and do paw checks for foxtails after every walk. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for zoomies. Dogs can explore the garden, sunbathe on the grass, or lounge under the shaded pergola. Pets are welcome on the couch, and I also have extra dog beds and an indoor dog house for pups who prefer a little more personal space. My experience: I have a 6yo maltipoo named Chewy and 14yo shihtzu named Joey. They are very respectful of other dogs’ personal space. I trained Chewy using positive reinforcement and taught him many tricks and commands. I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages since I was 15. My senior dog experience includes fostering one who was adopted into her forever home and providing long-term care for two others. I’m very comfortable administering medication, preparing special diets, and grooming. Rover is a side hobby, and I ask for a little advance notice so I can prepare for my doggie guest. I follow the schedule provided by the paw-parents. If none is given then it’s usually a morning potty break, breakfast, walk, mid day potty break, dinner, and potty before bedtime. Playtime is sprinkled throughout the day or I may incorporate it with their meal time like food in a puzzle toy. I tailor care to each dog’s needs. Every day includes physical exercise or mental stimulation such as daily walks, fetch, tug-of-war, command training, puzzle toys. About: I trained my reactive childhood dog at 16, and had great success! After he passed, I began volunteering at my local shelter. I can’t afford a dog right now, so I have much love saved up to share with everyone else’s dogs! I work part time, and I’m in school. I’m free Mondays after 2pm and Wednesdays after 2pm - Thursday before 4pm for an overnight stay. I have a separate unit in my home where my cats stay when dogs come over, so don’t worry if your dog isn’t cat friendly!
