About: I have two little ones of my own and I also volunteer as a walker for NorCal Poodle. We administer medicine, clean kennels and give our rescues love and affection. I will do the same for your fur babies. Both my Yorkie and Maltipoo are cuddle bugs and very playful. They’re under 15lbs and about 3 years old and both house and potty trained. I bathe them once a week and also do my own grooming. Im currently a full time student with a 16 year old at home. About: I have been petsitting since I was 12. I have experience with taking care of dogs of all ages and energy levels. I have had the pleasure to gain these experiences from my own previous pets and offers of my friends and family members. While I currently don’t own any pets in my own home, I am looking to expand my love for animals services to my community! About: I trained my reactive childhood dog at 16, and had great success! After he passed, I began volunteering at my local shelter. I can’t afford a dog right now, so I have much love saved up to share with everyone else’s dogs! I work part time, and I’m in school. I’m free Mondays after 2pm and Wednesdays after 2pm - Thursday before 4pm for an overnight stay. I have a separate unit in my home where my cats stay when dogs come over, so don’t worry if your dog isn’t cat friendly! About: I strive to provide a welcoming, enriching home away from home for your dog. To ensure the best care possible, I only accept up to 2 dogs at a time. You can expect regular updates throughout your pup’s stay. Safety is a top priority. I check my yard regularly for potential hazards and do paw checks for foxtails after every walk. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for zoomies. Dogs can explore the garden, sunbathe on the grass, or lounge under the shaded pergola. Pets are welcome on the couch, and I also have extra dog beds and an indoor dog house for pups who prefer a little more personal space. My experience: I have a 6yo maltipoo named Chewy and 14yo shihtzu named Joey. They are very respectful of other dogs’ personal space. I trained Chewy using positive reinforcement and taught him many tricks and commands. I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages since I was 15. My senior dog experience includes fostering one who was adopted into her forever home and providing long-term care for two others. I’m very comfortable administering medication, preparing special diets, and grooming. Rover is a side hobby, and I ask for a little advance notice so I can prepare for my doggie guest. I follow the schedule provided by the paw-parents. If none is given then it’s usually a morning potty break, breakfast, walk, mid day potty break, dinner, and potty before bedtime. Playtime is sprinkled throughout the day or I may incorporate it with their meal time like food in a puzzle toy. I tailor care to each dog’s needs. Every day includes physical exercise or mental stimulation such as daily walks, fetch, tug-of-war, command training, puzzle toys. Saylor did an excellent job taking care of my kitties. She even earned the trust of the extremely timid one, which is a feat that no other sitter and many friends had failed to do previously. She was attentive throughout her stay with them, and it was clear to me that they felt cared for when I finally got home.
Tia was gentle and calm with my Whippet puppy, and he was happy to stay home with her. This was his first time being home without me, and I was very glad that Tia was able to make it an easy and comfortable experience for him. I highly recommend Tia and am grateful for her caring close attention to my young puppy.
Telena has watched our shy kitty only twice, but has somehow managed to bring her out of her shell!! It normally takes our cat a long time before she warms up to people and she will usually just hide the whole time. But this time she came out and hung out with Telena which is so cool to see! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
