Availability
I love housesitting and caring for dogs while I enjoy this time of rest in my life! My Rover calendar is mostly accurately, but the way it works will show as though I'm not available to start a new housesit on a day (because I was housesitting somewhere else earlier in the day). So please feel free to check with me to be sure!

About Hannah M.
Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I let dogs warm up to me at their own pace (treats help!), and keep dogs on their schedules. I can get your mail, water plants, do light maintenance tasks or logistics, and before I leave I disinfect common areas and wash sheets if you wish. I provide updates twice a day, around 10am and 8:30pm, and I keep my phone on to be available if you reach out.
Information Hannah M. would like to know about your pet
I'm not the right fit for dogs that respond with biting or nipping when they are anxious. I'm a good fit for dogs who I can build rapport with quickly. Please let me know if your dog has any avoidable sensitivities that might cause them to react with fear (such as touching paws), and if they are reactive to cars, people, cats, dogs, etc while walking. If dogs are very reactive on walks or pull heavily, I won't be able to walk them much, but I'm happy to play with them indoors or in the yard!
A typical day
I love cuddling with dogs and giving them plenty of opportunity to play and explore their curiosities outside! I love taking dogs on daily walks, and when it's hot out I watch that they don't overheat. I can take dogs to parks (though not dog parks due to liability) and to vet/groomer appointments if needed.

Fun & close attention to safety!
Pet care experience
I love giving dogs love, enrichment and exercise to keep them happy and healthy, especially to distract them while their parents are away! I clean common areas before I leave and wash bedding if you give me permission and you have a washer and dryer. I'm certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I worked as a kennel tech/vet assistant for 2 years and in a dog daycare for 1 year. *I have asthma and am not a good fit for homes that have had cats or that have strong smells

Hannah is amazing! My husband and I went on vacation and not once were we worried of our three furbabies. She gave them loves everyday and provided daily updates which made us very confimorted. She followed all our instructions and did more than we asked. We are so grateful to her and we will always hire her to be our sitter.

Amazing as always! We always know Bailey is in good hands with Hannah

Our Bailey Rose immediately fell in love with Hannah. They played most of the evening and snuggled afterwards. Hannah was very prompt and kept in communication with us for her first time watching our baby girl. She sent pictures frequently and we could tell Bailey Rose was in good hands. Highly recommend her

Hannah was a very loving and gentle caregiver for my 12 week old puppy while I attended a work event. She made sure Juniper was comfy and stayed engaged. I got updates including photos and texts while I was gone
