“Stefanie is wonderful! She's very calm and kind, took time with the animals, and communicates well. She was very flexible as our schedule kept changing. Thank you Stefanie!”
About: Previously owned and trained our family dog until his passing some years ago. I have birds, fish, and have been caring for family friends' dogs. I am currently willing to help, care, and walk your dogs. A great way to fill in the time as I stay home, go to school, and improve life as to looking forward to care for your dog. My dog was fed a mix of wet and dry food, water bowl always full, and daily drive/park/play/walks/hikes (regarding the weather at the current moment of time).
“Thank you for stepping in while away! Megan supported my 2 pups during a very hot several days and in between my AC unit not working in my home! She ensured both dogs are well taken care of and stayed cool during the heat. Which was my #1 concern! My dogs love the care she provides and I would be happy to recommend her to anyone!”

“Leilani was amazing -- we would hire her again in a heart beat. Super on time and went above & beyond on communicating with us actively on how our kitty was doing. Even when our kitty had a throw up incident on Leilani's last day with her, Leilani cleaned it up + was very gracious about it. Thank you!”

“Isaiah did a great job checking in on my two cats over a long weekend! He was very communicative, reliable, and my cats seemed to warm up to him quickly! I will definitely plan to use Isaiah again in the future.”

“Jessica did a wonderful job with Jackson. She sent pictures and videos with descriptions to keep me apprised of everything. She let me know that she'd be a bit late because of traffic, and then let me know when she left my house. I'd definitely use her again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for about 10 years. I have lots of experience in bigger dogs. I myself have a Large Breed dog so I can safely handle walking bigger dogs. I have lots of experience in helping out families pets and would love to help you out as well! I currently am on summer break and will be attending DVC in the fall. I am available most days after 9am. I absolutely love spending quality time with my dog Dakoda and can’t wait to spend time with your dogs too! I have a fenced in yard with one other very friendly dog. I also have a extra crate if your dog needs to be crated
“I can’t say enough about Caitlin! She watched our cat Wynne while we went on our honeymoon, and we have used her before. She sent pictures every day! Took excellent care of her, communicated well when some questions came up, helped with the plants, and helped bring in our packages that showed up while we were gone. 10/10!”

About: I offer calm, personalized care in a quiet home where your dog is treated like family, not one of many in a busy boarding facility or a home with multiple dogs. I typically host one household at a time, so your dog gets my full attention, genuine affection, and all the cuddles they can handle. My home is the right fit for friendly dogs who love companionship, walks, and settling into a peaceful routine. I'm especially drawn to dogs who thrive with one-on-one attention rather than the noise and energy of a busy multi-dog environment. I'm certified in Pet CPR, Healing Touch for Animals, and Reiki. And beyond the credentials, I'm deeply attuned to each dog's personality and energy. That attunement is what helps them settle in quickly and feel genuinely at ease. My connection to animals runs deep. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.
About: I am a responsible and caring pet lover who enjoys spending time with animals. While I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I have helped care for pets of friends and family, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship. I am patient, reliable, and will treat your pets with the same care and attention I would give my own. I am a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. I spend most of my time at home or running local errands, so I can easily fit pet visits, walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine. My partner also has a flexible schedule and is happy to help when needed, allowing us to provide consistent care and attention for your pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines to help your pet feel secure and comfortable. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I will provide patient, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, stress-free experience.

About: I have a lot of experience with cats and dogs. I have very strong communication and patience skills which aid with animals. I work very closely with pet owners to give/take feedback and guidance. I’m currently home from college and currently attending summer classes. My availability is very flexible and I can’t wait to interact with animals. My animals at my house have a yard to play in and I am well experienced with getting “door dashers” insides and out of places.
“Katherine did a great job caring for my cat! My cat is not a fan of strangers and tends to be a little mean. Katherine was able to work around my trouble maker and got the job done 🙌🏼”

“Maria is a true lover of animals. She played with and cuddled our GusGus with TLC, ensured his kitty water was fresh, litter box was tidied, and fed him. She took pictures and provided daily updates on him. Her care gave us peace of mind on our little guy. We couldn’t have asked for better care for him.”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing, kind, and timely. We were stressing about having to leave our new puppy with a stranger for the day but Nancy's overall demeanor even before we booked her made us realize Baxter would be in great hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have pet sit for friends and family for years, never failing to successfully cate for their pets. Additionally I have taken care of 2 dogs and 2 cats at home for many years I don’t have any other job so I am free almost anytime and during any day of the week I can work during the day and at night. I can take care of any kind of pet and any situation that may arise. I have a lot of experience dealing with rowdy pets so there is no issue I can’t handle.
“This was our first time using Stephanie’s services and won’t be the last. She walked into chaos on the first visit and handled calmly and efficiently and took care of our pets in need. We will definitely request her again.”

We’ve used Caitlin a few times over the past couple years for our 3 cats. She follows instruction great, takes good care of our cats (even giving medicine to one cat and searching the house to find our hiding cats when they don’t come out). She was also very flexible when we had our baby and needed to move dates and times around a lot last minute. She’s always quick to reply as well. Will use her and again and would recommend!

Kaylyn was AMAZING doing daily drop in visits for our shepherd mix puppy while I was out of town. Eve can be a little hesitant around new people but she instantly loved Kaylyn. Kaylyn was also good about approaching Eve at her speed and understanding where she was at. 10/10 recommend her & will definitely book her again!

Tia was gentle and calm with my Whippet puppy, and he was happy to stay home with her. This was his first time being home without me, and I was very glad that Tia was able to make it an easy and comfortable experience for him. I highly recommend Tia and am grateful for her caring close attention to my young puppy.

Jessica took great care of our two cats for 6 days, sending us updates on how they were doing each day. Both cats were happy and chill when we got home from our trip. She also watered the plants, swept the floor and let us know if we got any packages. We highly recommend Jessica!

Richard does a fantastic job taking care of my puppy! He’s reliable, attentive, and has a great connection with dogs. My puppy is happy and well cared for during her drop-in visits. It gives me peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. I highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
