I’ve grown up around dogs and have over 20 years of hands-on pet care experience. My family has owned English Bull Terriers, Yorkshire Terriers, Jack Russells and Staffordshire Terriers, so I’m comfortable caring for both small and large breeds. I also have experience with poodles, including caring for a poodle puppy for around a year, which gave me a good understanding of coat maintenance, brushing routines, and the consistency required to keep their coats healthy and comfortable. I’m calm, patient, and confident with dogs of different temperaments, attentive to small changes in behaviour, and mindful of maintaining routines. Having worked as an au pair for five years, I’m very respectful, tidy, and reliable in other people’s homes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine always come first. I also have backyard chickens of my own, so I’m comfortable with their daily care and happy to help with simple chicken or small animal routines if needed.

I prioritise calm, attentive care and always follow your instructions and routines closely. I’m comfortable using crates, leashes, and harnesses and I’m happy to keep dogs separated if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I regularly walk the Lafayette Reservoir and love taking dogs along for longer, consistent walks. I don’t offer boarding, as I prefer to care for pets in their own familiar environment, which I find helps them feel more relaxed and settled. I’m very respectful and tidy in clients’ homes and take responsibility seriously. I pay close attention to body language and behaviour, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and written check-ins so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Taylor took such good care of my cats! She took all kinds of pictures and followed care instructions perfectly. My cats absolutely adored her too, and they can sometimes take a bit to warm up to people. 100% will rebook with her in the future.
Taylor is so awesome and reliable! She came over to our house to play with our dogs and gave us a very thorough summary of each visit. Our dogs can be a little high maintenance so I was nervous to leave them all day but Taylor made it an stress-free experience. She is awesome and I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and am available most weekdays for drop-in visits and dog walking. I train early in the mornings and often walk the Lafayette Reservoir after my 6am class, so morning walks are something I genuinely enjoy and fit naturally into my routine. I coach jiu jitsu briefly in the afternoons (Monday–Friday, 3:15–4pm), but I’m otherwise open and happy to work around your pet’s needs. I’m available for longer visits beyond the standard 30 minutes if requested.
