“Professional, kind, caring person who can think on her feet and easily problem solve. Everything you want and need in the person taking care of your fur babies. Highly recommend!”

“Maria took excellent care of my cat while I was gone a week, gave me piece of mind knowing he wouldn't be lonely the whole day! She took pictures and gave updates of my cat everyday. I will definitely be using her again in the future! 5 stars!”

“Stefanie is wonderful! She's very calm and kind, took time with the animals, and communicates well. She was very flexible as our schedule kept changing. Thank you Stefanie!”
“Brooke was great! Very easy to coordinate with and kept us in the loop for everything. Our dog seemed happy and calm when we returned as well. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have a lot of experience with cats and dogs. I have very strong communication and patience skills which aid with animals. I work very closely with pet owners to give/take feedback and guidance. I’m currently home from college and currently attending summer classes. My availability is very flexible and I can’t wait to interact with animals. My animals at my house have a yard to play in and I am well experienced with getting “door dashers” insides and out of places.
“Natalia was absolutely wonderful with all 3 of my dogs! From the very beginning, she was a fantastic communicator and made sure she understood everyone's routine. She looked after Koa, Gatsby and Barley perfectly and sent regular photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind while I was at work. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and my dogs took to her right away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and have been trusted with ongoing pet sitting responsibilities. I treat every pet with the same care, routine, and attention they receive from their owners. I also help reinforce training, keeping consistency with commands and good habits while you’re away. I work part-time and remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, and be present throughout the day to ensure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I provide care in my client’s home to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I also keep the home tidy and provide updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.
About: I have loved animals my entire life and always went out of my way to interact with them whenever I could. At the age of 14, my family decided to adopt a cat. We rescued her from the SFSPCA and I was the one in charge of her car. We later adopted two more cats from the SFSPCA over the next two years. I also grew up with Akitas, a Pittbull/Labrador Retriever mix, fish, and hamsters. As a young adult, I adopted and trained a Blue Heeler/Pitbull mix from 9-weeks-old. I also fostered a variety of animals from 2010-2012, from dogs and cats, to hamsters and exotics (including a hedgehog, rabbits, ferrets, and chinchillas). Today I am a single mom with two amazing older children. Our household is still full of animal love! We are owned by an adopted, blind Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel mix, two rescued cats, two rescued tortoises, two betta fish, two African dwarf frogs, a Pixie frog, two scorpions, two vinegaroons, and a Gargoyle Gecko. I currently work evenings only. This leaves my days free to care for my own family’s animals companions and for the animal companions of others! ❤️ I believe in treating anyone’s animals not only with the same respect and care I would want for my own, but also the love and care I offer to my own animal companions. I have animals with a variety of needs and am used to being flexible and meeting animals where they are. ❤️

About: I love caring for dogs. Short or long walks, playing at the park or in their yard. When they are happy it makes me happy. Feeding time or treats always on owners timeline! I am currently not working so available to be with your pet all day! Feedings, walks, whatever is needed they will feel safe and happy. About: We had a family dog for 10 years, he was a German shepherd/Rottweiler (big dog) he wasn’t your average sweet doggo but he was deeply loved and cared for by us. I would bathe him, make sure to fill up his bowls of food, & keep him entertained. I would give this doggo massages on his head and he would fall asleep every single time, it was so lovely. Unfortunately we lost him in 2024, due to mouth cancer. I am passionate about caring on loving on animals, I have had very minimal experience with cats. Cats are my favorite animals and I would absolutely adore to care for one, they are so precious and they just melt my heart. I am ready to give them my love and care. I am free from 10:00AM-2:00PM, MON-FRI. Times can be adjusted. No weekends. (Unless adjustments are made.) I can work out times and days with client if needed. I like to pay my full attention to fur babies & make sure they have what they need at all times. I have a deep affection for animals, so expect many, many, many cuddles from this sitter. Bringing comfort & attention to your pet is my main priority, I am a helicopter mom to all babies of all species. I understand it will take time for your pet to adjust but I will make sure to be their safe space when you aren’t around!

“Lisa is fantastic with our dog, Nico, who has a lot of stranger danger with humans. He barks a lot and takes time to warm up, but she stayed calm, made him feel safe, and became an instant hit with his love of fetch. It is clear she knows how to handle nervous dogs, and we really appreciate her time and effort to get to know him. We highly recommend her and are excited to continue to work with her!”

I have a fenced yard and a pet friendly home with one cat who is friendly and comfortable with dogs! I care for pets by keeping them company, giving them space, or being observant of their needs and wants.
“Our cat loves Heather. Heather comes up with all kinds of fun new games and discussions while she is visiting. When we got back from our trip, the house looked great (as always). Heather had even set up several dangling toys for our cat to play with 😂”

“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“Tatiana went above and beyond and took such great care of our cats Pepper and Nori - as if they were her own! Our cats received so much love and attention- and they were very relaxed when we came home. She helped make sure we could enjoy our trip stress free. Do yourself a favor and hire Tatiana and your kitty will fall in love with her, just like our cats did! 😻🫶”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Concord
Nick is AMAZING!!!! I needed a pet sitter last minute during 4th of July week/weekend and Nick responded right away, met him next day and he took care of my puppies with such care. Pictures everyday and even offered to bring more food since I was running low. Such a kind person and will definitely book again!! Thank you so much Nick!

Unfortunately our elderly cat suffered a life ending event while we out of town and Sabrina was caring for her. Sabrina rushed her to an emergency vet and stayed with her until the end and then returned to our house afterwards to clean up so we would not have to return to even more trauma. She was so compassionate, knowledgeable and kind. She really went way above and beyond and we will be forever grateful to her for her care.

Kaylyn was AMAZING doing daily drop in visits for our shepherd mix puppy while I was out of town. Eve can be a little hesitant around new people but she instantly loved Kaylyn. Kaylyn was also good about approaching Eve at her speed and understanding where she was at. 10/10 recommend her & will definitely book her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
