“Brooke was great! Very easy to coordinate with and kept us in the loop for everything. Our dog seemed happy and calm when we returned as well. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I worked at East Hills Veterinary Hospital for 1.5 years from 2023-2025. I have dog walked and pet sat (both cats and dogs) for neighbors, family, and friends for the past 3 years. My mom is a veterinarian and has taught me how to medicate cats and trim nails on mild tempered cats. I have 4 cats and 3 small dogs at home who I regularly take care of. I’m currently a college student home for the summer and living locally. I have a car and am able to create a specialized schedule based on what my clients need from me. I am flexible with timing and will only be gone for 2 weeks this summer, one at the end of July and one at the start of August. I have three small dogs and four cats at home. I’m used to feeding my pets, changing litter boxes, medicating my pets if need be, and trimming nails for cats - but only if they have a mild temper. I walk my dogs a couple times a week and play fetch with my yorkie Neville. I have a fenced in backyard and like to hang outside with them and read books and let them run around.
About: I’m a preschool teacher taking time off to return to school full-time, giving me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on pet care. I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including senior pets and those with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, eye drops, and saline injections when prescribed by a veterinarian. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, dependable, and attentive. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I’m currently taking time off from teaching to return to school full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available throughout the summer and can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to maintain their normal routine, whether that includes walks, meals, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship while you’re away. As a preschool teacher, safety, patience, and attention to detail are second nature to me. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household routines to ensure your pet receives the best possible care. I’m experienced administering oral medications, eye drops, and saline injections when prescribed by a veterinarian. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout my visits so you can feel confident knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’ve take care of pets my whole life, but for other people around 4 years. And I’ve dealt with everything you can think of from senior animals, allergies, fighting dogs, to medications. I am currently working part-time three times a week as a hitting instructor just during the afternoon which fits perfectly into my schedule to come visit and give lots of love to your pets all throughout the day. In your home there are plenty of things I can do even if your animals have any weird quirks because I know my dogs have quite a few.
“Myra checked in on our Akita, Koa! She has house sat for us before and was amazing. She was very responsive and provided updates, pictures and a nice walk for our pup!! Highly recommend Myra and so does Koa! ☺️”

Walking, cuddling, and taking care of your pet like it’s my own fur baby
“Natalia was absolutely wonderful with all 3 of my dogs! From the very beginning, she was a fantastic communicator and made sure she understood everyone's routine. She looked after Koa, Gatsby and Barley perfectly and sent regular photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind while I was at work. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and my dogs took to her right away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

About: What sets me apart as a dog walker is my approach in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I have experience in basic puppy training, as well as providing gentle care and attention to senior dogs who may need a slower pace or extra assistance. I’m attentive to each dog's unique personality and energy level, ensuring a fun, safe, and enriching walk every time. I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of free time to play with your dogs! My schedule varies day to day so throughout the week I will be able to do morning, mid-day, or night time walks. When walking a client's dog, I prioritize the dog’s safety, comfort, and routine. I follow any specific instructions regarding leash preferences, walking routes, and feeding or medication schedules. I always keep the dog on a leash in unfamiliar or busy areas and carry waste bags, water, and any necessary supplies. I pay close attention to the dog’s behavior and needs, adjusting the pace and activities accordingly, and provide detailed updates to the owner after each visit, including pictures and notes about the walk.

About: I have over 10+ years experience in caring for animals of all species including dogs and cats. I also volunteer at my local animal rescue/shelter and have a few pets of my own; a mini pig, chinchilla, and 4 birds. I currently work part time for the City of Concord so my schedule is very flexible with open availability. I am available throughout the week. I pay attention to the pets needs, being able to read their body language is very important for keeping them happy and comfortable. Also, making sure their environment is safe for them to be in and that they cannot access anything that could harm them like medications or toxic foods that have been left out.

“Lisa is amazing! I have cats, not dogs, but I don't think that matters when someone has such a clear love and sensitivity for our furbabies. My cats are ridiculously antisocial, and i would not blame a sitter for just plunking down their food and leaving. But Lisa goes above and beyond to comfort them, let them know she is there to play, and even brave the horrors of the dust bunnies under my bed where they are hiding to get a great rover card pic that lets me know they are ok. So glad i found her!”

“Stefanie is wonderful! She's very calm and kind, took time with the animals, and communicates well. She was very flexible as our schedule kept changing. Thank you Stefanie!”
“Mike met our pups Bubbles & Ace for the first time and it went amazing! both my dogs warmed up to him fairly quickly & he was able to provide us with great tips for them. my dog Ace can have a lot of energy and some anxiety and Mike handled him great and took the time to learn his personality. It made me feel comfortable being able to leave them alone knowing how much knowledge he has and that we will be able to handle them. Definitely would rebook!”

“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“Another great experience with Nicole. Kiko was a little anxious this time because of noisy neighbors and work being done in our apartment building. Nicole was still able to get her to play and kept us informed of Kiko's moods/issues daily. A few unexpected things happened during this visit but Nicole was on top of it all. The scariest was a potential evacuation due to a wild fire close by. Nicole was in constant contact with us and ready to take Kiko to her home for safety if needed. We were 5000 miles away and felt helpless but knew Nicole would do what was needed to keep our fur baby safe. We received updates daily that included several photos and videos. We are definitely grateful that Nicole was taking such great care of our Kiko. Thank you Nicole! We highly recommend Nicole and will book her for future visits.”

Grace was awesome! Took the time to do a meet and greet before, and then followed up after the actual check-in with lots of pictures. Perfect communication as well. I could tell she is good with dogs by how quickly she was able to get my boys to play and be comfortable with her.

This was my first time using Rover and my first time using a pet sitter I didn’t know, so I was nervous about it. Lexx had great reviews so we set up a Meet and Greet which was so important to me for my peace of mind. The Meet and Greet went great so I booked her for a Drop In to feed my three boys dinner just so they could get a feel for Lexx without us around. The Drop In went well, they warmed up to her very quickly. Lexx said Chief took a little extra effort to get him to take a break from playing and eat his dinner, this can be common from him but I really appreciated that Lexx took the time to get him to focus on his meal. I feel confident it’s a good fit for my boys, now I have her booked to for a longer stay.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
