About: Hello! I am Patrick and new to Rover, but not to pet care. For the past 25+ years, I have had both dogs and cats to keep me company. In total, I have housed 3 German Shepherds, 2 mutts, 2 Maine Coons and 3 short haired cats. The German Shepherds were all from rescues and were special needs, disabled, or shut-down dogs. I made sure that each one lived its best life. One of my favorites was Clover, a true ball dog that loved the beach. In her later years she developed a condition that paralyzed her hind legs. I made sure she still got her daily walks by using a cart for mobility so she never felt left behind. I am comfortable caring for all ages and sizes of dogs and cats. Even though I am retired, I am still young and strong and able to handle any situation. I would love to set up a Meet & Greet to see how I can best assist. I can also help with the routine house stuff like collecting mail, watering plants, turning on lights, etc. while I am with your pet. Since I am newly retired, my schedule has freed up a bit. I am able to visit your dog or cat without much notice. Also, since I do not overbook, your pet gets my full attention. I am a very detail-oriented person. I will follow all of your directions to the letter. I will be very careful and respectful of your home.

My cats are ridiculously antisocial, and i would not blame a sitter for just plunking down their food and leaving. But Lisa goes above and beyond to comfort them, let them know she is there to play, and even brave the horrors of the dust bunnies under my bed where they are hiding to get a great rover card pic that lets me know they are ok. About: Ive grown up with dogs all my life and always enjoyed spending time with them when I had the chance. When I was old enough I would help friends, family, and neighbors with their pets- be it checking in, feeding, bathing, house sitting, walking, practicing basic training with their puppies (sit,down,paw,touch), giving medication, or just keeping them company while work got done around the house! I am available before 2:30 and after 6pm and would love to spend time with your adorable pets ☺️Saturday and Sundays I’m available after 1:30 ! I really try to get to know each pet in order to know what they like, what they don't, and their usual routine. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience previously working as a veterinary assistant and volunteering at local shelters walking dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I also have two Mini Australian Shepherds and a senior German shepherd of my own, so I know how to handle energetic as well as slower paced pups and give them the care and attention they deserve. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while we go on a walk. I work full time Monday–Friday but can do late some afternoons when I’m more flexible. I’m also available for weekend walks or check-ins—especially Sundays! Overall I’m very active and would love to walk long distance or even run if your dog is up for it.
