About: Hello! I am Patrick and new to Rover, but not to pet care. For the past 25+ years, I have had both dogs and cats to keep me company. In total, I have housed 3 German Shepherds, 2 mutts, 2 Maine Coons and 3 short haired cats. The German Shepherds were all from rescues and were special needs, disabled, or shut-down dogs. I made sure that each one lived its best life. One of my favorites was Clover, a true ball dog that loved the beach. In her later years she developed a condition that paralyzed her hind legs. I made sure she still got her daily walks by using a cart for mobility so she never felt left behind. I am comfortable caring for all ages and sizes of dogs and cats. Even though I am retired, I am still young and strong and able to handle any situation. I would love to set up a Meet & Greet to see how I can best assist. I can also help with the routine house stuff like collecting mail, watering plants, turning on lights, etc. while I am with your pet. Since I am newly retired, my schedule has freed up a bit. I am able to visit your dog or cat without much notice. Also, since I do not overbook, your pet gets my full attention. I am a very detail-oriented person. I will follow all of your directions to the letter. I will be very careful and respectful of your home.

About: While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I finally adopted my own 10 years ago. She is my friend, my companion, and my designated snuggler. Her mischievous antics always keep me on my toes. We love walks at run-around parks in the East Bay - especially Briones and Lime Ridge. I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter.

About: From growing up with dogs to taking care of my own, I understand they are not only a family member but true companions! I know the difference in care between a puppy and senior dog. I am very reliable and attentive and will make sure your fury friends are well taken care with your exact instructions. I currently am a stay-at-home mom who has three school aged children. Most of my time is spent very local. My situation makes it very easy for me to do pet care in my schedule. I have a fenced yard with grass. I do have boys at ages 9 and 13. Our family is very pet friendly, we love animals. We have one dog named Otto. He is funny, energetic, and loves other dogs! Play dates would be ideal with him.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. My family has 2 dogs that I have been frequently called to sit for. I prioritize the unique needs of each individual pet and will always try to provide the absolute best care. I am a recent college graduate, so my hours are extremely flexible, but I absolutely prefer advance notice. I am best available for overnight stays on the weekends. The best times for drop-in visits are in the afternoon or evenings during weekdays. I am flexible enough to be able to schedule for mornings as well, preferably in advance. I will always defer to what the pet owner tells me is needed for their pet in order to make sure each pet is cared for properly. I can handle walking larger dogs, as I have experience walking a large unruly goldendoodle. I will always keep the pet's safety as my number one priority.

It’s obvious they are true animal lovers and they even discovered she likes to watch bird & fish YouTube videos. Also, Aiden’s photos are the best I have of her - he has a real gift for animal photography. They were also very diligent about her medications, including giving her insulin shots twice a day. About: I’ve grown up with boxers my entire life, so caring for high-energy, anxious, and expressive dogs has been part of my routine since I was a kid. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been dog-sitting for friends, family, and clients, gaining experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. The boxer I have now is fully my responsibility, which means I handle everything from feeding schedules and to managing separation anxiety, and excessive barking since he was adopted from an inattentive family. I am exceptionally physically capable and will have no problem handling or walking large pets regardless of how rowdy they can get! Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog that needs a gentler routine, I adapt quickly and make sure each dog feels safe, understood, and at home. I work from home most days and only go in part-time a few days a week, so my schedule is naturally set up to include plenty of time with dogs. My day is flexible, making it easy to fit in walks, playtime, training, or just relaxed company. Daily walks are already a normal part of my life. There is nothing that'll get in the way of constant and intentional care whoever I'm taking care of. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I work from my laptop most of the day, so I’m able to spend long, steady stretches of time with your dog—whether that means relaxing together, supervising, or offering plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m naturally clean and organized, so I make sure your space stays tidy and is always left better than I found it, as if I was never there.
