About: I worked at East Hills Veterinary Hospital for 1.5 years from 2023-2025. I have dog walked and pet sat (both cats and dogs) for neighbors, family, and friends for the past 3 years. My mom is a veterinarian and has taught me how to medicate cats and trim nails on mild tempered cats. I have 4 cats and 3 small dogs at home who I regularly take care of. I’m currently a college student home for the summer and living locally. I have a car and am able to create a specialized schedule based on what my clients need from me. I am flexible with timing and will only be gone for 2 weeks this summer, one at the end of July and one at the start of August. I have three small dogs and four cats at home. I’m used to feeding my pets, changing litter boxes, medicating my pets if need be, and trimming nails for cats - but only if they have a mild temper. I walk my dogs a couple times a week and play fetch with my yorkie Neville. I have a fenced in backyard and like to hang outside with them and read books and let them run around.
“Professional, kind, caring person who can think on her feet and easily problem solve. Everything you want and need in the person taking care of your fur babies. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! I’m a dependable and compassionate caregiver who has spent years being the go-to person for family, friends, and neighbors whenever they need help with their fur babies, kids, homes, or even plants! I absolutely love animals and have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and small animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m available anytime—including weekdays, weekends, and holidays—and am flexible to fit your schedule. Whether your pet needs a calm companion to keep them cozy or an energetic walking buddy to burn off some zoomies, I adjust to their personality and needs with ease. My goal is always to create a fun, safe, and comforting environment—no stress, just tail wags, purrs, and happy pets! I am currently working a part-time job on weekends and attending school during the week, with classes lasting about four hours each day. Despite my academic commitments, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of free time both before and after classes, as well as in between. This allows me to be highly available throughout the week for pet sitting, dog walking, and other services. I manage my time well, and I’m committed to being punctual, responsive, and reliable. Whether you need early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. My goal is to provide consistent, high-quality care and peace of mind while you’re away. At this time, I’m unable to provide care in my own home, but I am fully comfortable and more than happy to come to your home for any pet care services you may need. Whether it’s drop-in visits, dog walking, overnight stays, or just some quality companionship for your pet, I’m here to help in a way that keeps your pets feeling safe and relaxed in their own environment. I’m an active person who loves the outdoors, so I’m always excited to take pets out for a walk—or even a run if they’re up for it! I also have a soft spot for senior pets who prefer quiet time and gentle care. Whether your furry family member is energetic and playful or laid-back and cuddly, I adjust my care style to meet their specific needs and personality. I’m very open and flexible with scheduling. If your pet has a particular feeding or medication schedule, I’m happy to follow it closely and even stop by for quick visits as needed. I treat every home with the utmost respect and always aim to leave things better than I found them—clean, tidy, and cared for. Above all, I’m committed to creating a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for your pet while giving you total peace of mind while you're away.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Labrador and have also cared for multiple rescue cats throughout the years. Having pets my whole life has taught me that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and way of showing love — and that’s something I truly cherish. I have hands-on experience with dog walking, feeding, litter box and pet area cleaning, and providing daily care for both dogs and cats. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or calm and shy, I’m happy to provide patient, attentive care tailored to them. I would love the opportunity to help care for your fur baby and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well loved while you’re away! I currently work full time, but I’m available to help care for your pets during evenings and weekends! I’m happy to assist with date nights, weekend outings, vacations, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, and giving your pets extra love and attention while you’re away. Monday through Thursday my schedule can be a bit tighter because of work, but I still do my best to accommodate evening care when possible. Friday through Sunday I am much more open and flexible, making weekends a great time for extended care or last-minute plans! I always strive to create a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, bathroom breaks, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I also make sure pets have plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. Cleanliness is very important to me, so I keep pet areas tidy, refresh water bowls regularly, and ensure litter boxes or outdoor areas are maintained. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, happy, and stress-free while giving owners peace of mind knowing their fur baby is in caring hands.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. My family has 2 dogs that I have been frequently called to sit for. I prioritize the unique needs of each individual pet and will always try to provide the absolute best care. I am a recent college graduate, so my hours are extremely flexible, but I absolutely prefer advance notice. I am best available for overnight stays on the weekends. The best times for drop-in visits are in the afternoon or evenings during weekdays. I am flexible enough to be able to schedule for mornings as well, preferably in advance. I will always defer to what the pet owner tells me is needed for their pet in order to make sure each pet is cared for properly. I can handle walking larger dogs, as I have experience walking a large unruly goldendoodle. I will always keep the pet's safety as my number one priority. I will never bring my own pets with me as they stay with my family at home.
About: Hello! I am Patrick and new to Rover, but not to pet care. For the past 25+ years, I have had both dogs and cats to keep me company. In total, I have housed 3 German Shepherds, 2 mutts, 2 Maine Coons and 3 short haired cats. The German Shepherds were all from rescues and were special needs, disabled, or shut-down dogs. I made sure that each one lived its best life. One of my favorites was Clover, a true ball dog that loved the beach. In her later years she developed a condition that paralyzed her hind legs. I made sure she still got her daily walks by using a cart for mobility so she never felt left behind. I am comfortable caring for all ages and sizes of dogs and cats. Even though I am retired, I am still young and strong and able to handle any situation. I would love to set up a Meet & Greet to see how I can best assist. I can also help with the routine house stuff like collecting mail, watering plants, turning on lights, etc. while I am with your pet. Since I am newly retired, my schedule has freed up a bit. I am able to visit your dog or cat without much notice. Also, since I do not overbook, your pet gets my full attention. I am a very detail-oriented person. I will follow all of your directions to the letter. I will be very careful and respectful of your home.
“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

About: While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I finally adopted my own 10 years ago. She is my friend, my companion, and my designated snuggler. Her mischievous antics always keep me on my toes. We love walks at open spaces in the East Bay - especially Briones and Lime Ridge. I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter.
About: I love caring for dogs. Short or long walks, playing at the park or in their yard. When they are happy it makes me happy. Feeding time or treats always on owners timeline! I am currently not working so available to be with your pet all day! Feedings, walks, whatever is needed they will feel safe and happy. I like to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I will be able to keep them on their daily schedules where they feel safe.
“I went on vacation for about a week and came across Maria's profile on Rover. I have two kitties so wanted to make sure they were ok while I was away with the family. Maria was great! She sent pictures and gave me a brief update each day on how the kitties are doing. She made sure the kitties were fed, had clean water, and cleaned their litter boxes. She played with them as well. I will hire her again.”

About: I have two golden retrievers at home who are energetic, playful, and always hungry. We love exploring new places and making more friends along the way. Pet care fits perfectly into my day to day schedule because after school and weekends I am always open to walks, washes, and any other care any pet needs. In my home I care for my pets by walking them, brushing them, making sure their water is full and clean, and most importantly making sure they are entertained whether that be with toys or socializing them with other friends. In clients home I will carefully care for their pet(s) the way they explained to be prior walking into their home.
“Sydney was so great to be able to book within a few days as our previous cat sitter fell through. She checked on these girls just as expected and I felt they were in great hands.”

About: I have watched my friend’s dogs a few times over the last few years, and I have a dog of my own! I’m great with both cats and dogs, and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I’m currently a caregiver for the elderly, so I have plenty of time to watch your pets since I’m at home most of the day! I have a yard with a fence and our neighborhood is gated. There is also a long trail that I’d be more than happy to walk your pets on!
“He's been so consistent and patient with Athena! She's learned not only to trust him, but quickly obey his commands. Athena has welcomed Mike as part of her pack, in charge of belly rubs!”
