About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. During college, I regularly cared for friends’ pets over school breaks, including feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m generally available on weekday mornings and during the daytime on weekends. “Vanessa is a very clear, thorough, and knowledgeable pet sitter / communicator. She caught on very quickly to our instructions and went above and beyond in taking care of our animals. I would recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot thank Paulo enough. I was returning home from an out of town work trip & due to a unforeseen circumstances with another pet caregiver I became extremely concerned about my Marley. I reached out in a panic, and he responded with compassion, professionalism, and a true sense of urgency.Knowing how worried I was, he headed over promptly, kept me updated, and provided immediate reassurance. Seeing Marley happy, safe, and wagging her tail after her walk brought me so much relief, and I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and care he showed during a very stressful situation. Paulo fit us into a busy schedule and showed genuine concern and understanding. His responsiveness, reliability, and willingness to step in quickly meant more than I can express. I would absolutely trust him with Marley again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about animals and their owners.”

“We felt very comforted while we were out of town having Sofia check up on our boy. She fed him and played with him, and sent us pictures too! Sofia was very responsive and she is an experienced pet lover 👍 We’ll definitely be hitting her up next time we go out of town—thank you Sofia!”

“Maria took excellent care of my cat while I was gone a week, gave me piece of mind knowing he wouldn't be lonely the whole day! She took pictures and gave updates of my cat everyday. I will definitely be using her again in the future! 5 stars!”

“Sabrina is awesome! We have a golden retriever puppy, and she came in at 9 weeks old and was doing two drop ins twice a week for her on days we worked. Being such a young pup, she is a handful and requires 100% attention when she is awake with tons of potty breaks and Sabrina took amazing care of her and we had no doubt our pup was well taken care of and safe. Couldn’t recommend her more, she will be at the top of our list if we need drop ins again.”

“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“Another great experience with Nicole. Kiko was a little anxious this time because of noisy neighbors and work being done in our apartment building. Nicole was still able to get her to play and kept us informed of Kiko's moods/issues daily. A few unexpected things happened during this visit but Nicole was on top of it all. The scariest was a potential evacuation due to a wild fire close by. Nicole was in constant contact with us and ready to take Kiko to her home for safety if needed. We were 5000 miles away and felt helpless but knew Nicole would do what was needed to keep our fur baby safe. We received updates daily that included several photos and videos. We are definitely grateful that Nicole was taking such great care of our Kiko. Thank you Nicole! We highly recommend Nicole and will book her for future visits.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
