“He's been so consistent and patient with Athena! She's learned not only to trust him, but quickly obey his commands. Athena has welcomed Mike as part of her pack, in charge of belly rubs!”

About: While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I finally adopted my own 10 years ago. She is my friend, my companion, and my designated snuggler. Her mischievous antics always keep me on my toes. We love walks at open spaces in the East Bay - especially Briones and Lime Ridge. I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter.
“Sofia was great! We had a difficult situation with our cat as she was recovering from an injury, and we had to go out of town. Sofia took extra time to make sure our cat was well cared for, and had great communication skills!”

“Our pups instantly liked Jessica and were happy and well taken care of when we returned. She handled last-minute adjustments very well and was very reliable about feeding them and giving them their medication on time. She did everything just right! We are very thankful to have had such a nice and trustworthy person to take such good care of our pups. 🐶 Highly recommended! Would definitely book again.”

“Professional, kind, caring person who can think on her feet and easily problem solve. Everything you want and need in the person taking care of your fur babies. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. My family has 2 dogs that I have been frequently called to sit for. I prioritize the unique needs of each individual pet and will always try to provide the absolute best care. I am a recent college graduate, so my hours are extremely flexible, but I absolutely prefer advance notice. I am best available for overnight stays on the weekends. The best times for drop-in visits are in the afternoon or evenings during weekdays. I am flexible enough to be able to schedule for mornings as well, preferably in advance. I will always defer to what the pet owner tells me is needed for their pet in order to make sure each pet is cared for properly. I can handle walking larger dogs, as I have experience walking a large unruly goldendoodle. I will always keep the pet's safety as my number one priority. I will never bring my own pets with me as they stay with my family at home.
“I went on vacation for about a week and came across Maria's profile on Rover. I have two kitties so wanted to make sure they were ok while I was away with the family. Maria was great! She sent pictures and gave me a brief update each day on how the kitties are doing. She made sure the kitties were fed, had clean water, and cleaned their litter boxes. She played with them as well. I will hire her again.”

“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“My dog, Watson, can be wary of new people. However, he loved Cristal! While she was taking care of him, she made sure that he was fed, he got his meds, and took him on long-ish walks (which takes a lot of patience because he loves to stop every couple of yards). Plus, the photos that she took were the cutest!”

“Sabrina took great care of our shy cat. She is very professional and easy-going. Communication was great. I would definitely use her for drop in services again, if we go on another trip.”
Bay Point cat parents share their Rover experiences
Cecilia did a great job taking care of our kitty, Leroy! We were just looking for someone to pop in and check on him while we were away for a few days. She was communicative during her visits and made sure to send photo updates so we knew he was safe! We would book with Cecilia again in the future 😁
