“Biswas was wonderful with our dog, Charlie. He was attentive and caring. He kept us updated while we were out of the country. Appreciate having a sitter like Biswas who is attentive and caring.”

“Starlee is always nervous with new people and animals. I can tell Natalie cares a lot and did a great job making her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up she was a lot more relaxed and happy. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“I’m a very happy repeated client with Shirley. My pup Macy always has a great time with Shirley and she keeps my updated about Macy for the entirety of her stay at Shirley’s. When I pick up Macy, she’s always happy and healthy, so I feel really lucky to have a dog sitter I know I trust with her when I go on work trips. On top of excellent care, Shirley was very flexible when I needed to extend Macy’s stay last minute and even went out of her way to get Macy more of the right food for the extra time there. I’m a very happy dog parent. :)”

“Peter and his family are the best - my pup can be very anxious and a handful at times but he loves going to Peter’s, he is always happy to go and happy when I pick him up! I know he is loved and very well cared for when he’s at Peter’s and that’s all I can ask for as a pet owner!”

“We absolutely love Grishma and Pratik. We left Koa for 3 weeks and had to extend his stay and we had to leave koa for a month. They took such good care of him and kept us updated throughout the entire month. Communicated his feeding, photos, videos, playtime you name it. We trust them wholeheartedly to care for our boy. Thank you Pratik and Grishma”

“Thank you to Pratima and husband for taking care of Mochi and Bella while I was on my business trip. They sent pictures and of videos of the dogs and the dogs looked so happy and well taken care of. I get a bit worried with having a senior dog that has health issues and medicine that needs to be given 3 times a day but Pratima made me feel comfortable knowing they could handle Mochi. Thank you again!”
“You guys are amazing! You took great care of Maggie! I was sent regular updates with photos and videos. We were able to completely relax on our trip knowing our pup was in great hands. We can't wait to book our next stay!"”

About: I've had dogs and cats (and also horses and goats) all my life. I have a flexible schedule and is willing to work with you and your pet’s needs. Having one myself, I specialize in French bulldogs. I don't discriminate on the breed but I completely understand their sometimes difficult needs and also their funny little stubborn personalities. While I don't have many reviews on Rover, I have many repeating clients that I can provide testimonials from if needed. My work schedule is very flexible. I also have a dog door that goes to the backyard if they're comfortable with using that, otherwise somebody is almost always home. We don't leave dogs unattended. I live in a house with a fenced backyard. I also live very close to parks if your dog prefers those. Also we have a fenced in area that I can let the dogs roam. I also have a friendly dog so if your dog needs a friend he’s more than willing. They can also easily be separated and mine crated
“Lisa has such a warm and welcoming house and 2 great pups of her own! We picked up dog up yesterday afternoon and he is still sleepy a full 24 hours later from playing all weekend long. We will definitely be using Lisa again!!”

“Colleen was great with Rico, it was my first time ever leaving him, she always answered my texts, and updated me with pictures from time to time, he was in great hands, when it was time to get him, he was snoring away on her couch and wasn’t easy waking up, he was comfortable I can see, that made me feel so good. I would definitely recommend her to my friends or anyone else, I would definitely take Rico back there.. thank you Colleen for watching over my baby”

“Sally was so welcoming and friendly. She sent me daily updates about how my boys were doing with photo evidence of how much fun they were having playing with her dog and her daughter. They came home completely worn out in a good way.”

“Daphne felt right at home with Sabrina and her family. We received pictures each night and really nice updates. This couldn’t have been a better experience for our sweet doggy or for us!”

“Maxime and Virginie pupsat our little 10 month old border collie and she had the best time! We felt like she was safe with them and had lots of play time with all the family. Frequent updates and pictures/videos made our day many times while we were away missing our little energy ball. ❤️ Thank you again for taking such great care of her!!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Stefanie caring for our two dogs. Stefanie cared for our Labradoodle and Dachshund. Our Labradoodle can become quite anxious with conventional kennel boarding which prevents him from getting rest. Stefanie provided a safe, calm, and relaxing environment which allowed our Labradoodle to feel at home. Stefanie did a great job of keeping us updated with photos while we were away which provided peace of mind. We had a terrific experience!”

“Abby did a great job watching Marley for the week while I was out of town. She sent lots of photos and she gave him a bath during his stay which I really appreciated!I can tell she loves dog sitting and that was a great feeling while I was on vacation!”

“Tierra has it going on! Way cool! She is the Dog Whisperer! She knows Dogs! She will be a Fantastic Dog Kennel owner! My Dog Stella fit right in with her pack! She has a great set up where Dogs can run free and won't wind up running wild! My German Shepherd has been a bit rambunctious but she came back to me well trained almost! Also, she was Clean! I think Tierra even bathed her! Anyhow, well done Tierra! Awesome Job! I thank you so much and gladly will hire you again when I need to! She is highly recommended in the highest degree! Thanks again, I'm so happy to know I have a great Dog sitter I can rely upon in the Future and if she gets her Kennel, I will take my Dog Stella there in a heartbeat! Salute to Tierra!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bay Point
This was my first time finally deciding to use rover and I’m very glad I found Pratik. I was nervous about being away from Stormi for a couple of days but as soon as she met him she was very comfortable. He also sent me pictures throughout the weekend which I really enjoyed. I will definitely be booking with him again!

Leaving my pup with someone new for the first time made me incredibly anxious, but this service completely blew me away. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. The couple was absolutely amazing, beginning with our initial meet-and-greet, which instantly put me at ease. They were highly responsive and truly cared about making both of us comfortable. While I was away, they kept me updated with regular texts, photos, and videos showing my dog living his best life. Seeing him so happy gave me total peace of mind. I am so grateful for their exceptional communication and genuine care. I highly recommend them and will absolutely trust them with my pup again!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
