About: We've used Rover many times while traveling, and now are happy to host as well. We've had dogs for the last 20 years, and before that, grew up with family dogs and cats. We view our pets as a part of the family. When your dog is staying with us, they will have daily walks and access to our enclosed yard for late night potties. If your dog likes to swim, they can also go for a swim in our pool in the summer. We allow dogs to roam and relax where they are comfortable to. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds here. I work from home 90% of the time, and my husband keeps a hybrid schedule. Therefore we are home most of the time. Your dog will always have a human and dog companion while staying with us. I work from home most of the time, while my husband keeps a hybrid schedule, which makes it easy for us to care for your pet 24/7. We live in a flat walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and street lights. We take our own dog on frequent walks, and occasionally to the dog run (like Baldwin or Newhall) or on longer hikes (like Lime Ridge). Our backyard is fenced, and so is our pool. We have a lush grass patch for pets to potty on. We have some stairs (no more than 3), but in general our home is one level. We have mostly wood floors with some carpet. Dogs are allowed on furniture and at the foot of beds here.

About: I have two dogs, one who I am currently going through the process of behavioral modification and one who recently crossed the rainbow bridge in February. At home I have always been the caretaker giving them food, cleaning after them, bathing them, and seeking medical advice if I noticed something was off. I’m generally detail oriented and I enjoy spending time with dogs. I also have had other pets as well including fish, chickens, and canaries so I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. I try to research any of the problems they experience myself and come up with a course of action with how to deal with them keeping in mind costs, effectiveness, and safety. My dogs are my running buddies and when I have the chance I like going hiking with them, taking them to swim, and even sitting around a campfire with them. I am currently not working so available to be with your pet all day! Feedings, walks, whatever is needed they will feel safe and happy. I like to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I will be able to keep them on their daily schedules where they feel safe.

Along with me and my wife, our nephew and niece, and our sister also help care for your precious furbabies, giving them lots of attention, playtime, and love while they stay with us. I truly enjoy spoiling pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My friends often describe me as reliable, responsible, and someone they can fully trust with their pets. My wife and I both permanently work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone and will always have company throughout the day. Our schedules are flexible, which allows us to offer weekday daycare and consistent care. We usually take our dog on walks in the morning and afternoon, and we love including other furry friends in our routine. We currently live in a welcoming home with a secure backyard where pets can safely explore, play, or simply relax. Inside the house, pets are treated like family — they’re welcome on the couch and bed, and we also have a crate available if needed for comfort or training. Whether they enjoy being active or lounging indoors, we make sure every pet feels right at home with us. I’m permanently working from home now with my wife. My work is usually flexible. We’re free weekdays to do day care. I usually walk our dog in the morning and afternoon. We now live in a house with a backyard. They can still sit on the couch and bed, and we always have a crate available if needed. They are also free to explore the backyard or just relax inside. It's a very welcoming home.
About: Hi everyone! I love all animals! Your pet and I will definitely have a great time together! I am trying to become a veterinarian in the future and this is a great start for me! I have a park that is a 5 minute walk from my house and I have a huge yard for any pet that likes outside activities. I can care for disabled pets and older pets as well. I have always wanted to live in a farm because of all the animals but this is close enough for me haha! I have a dog of my own and he will love the extra company and play time. I’m a teacher, so I’m typically home by 3 PM on weekdays, and my husband works from home during the week. This means your dog will have plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Our dogs get three walks a day, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime. If your dog enjoys dog parks, we also have a nearby dog park that is suitable for dogs who enjoy socializing and getting some extra exercise in the evening. On weekends, we love taking our dogs on dog-friendly adventures, so boarding with us can include lots of fun activities and new experiences when appropriate for your dog.
