He gets seperation anxiety, so we thought it best he stay with someone. Nicole has a calm manner and welcomed him with open arms. Jack took to her family and dog DJ quickly. He sometimes has issues with being around other dogs but he loved playing with DJ! She also listened when we talked about Jack's issue with being around bigger dogs. She made sure that her "sitting" schedule wouldn't include big dogs while Jack was there. That was very appreciated. We liked that she allows her visitors on the couch, bed, wherever. This is very much how we run our home and wanted Jack to be as at ease as possible. Her home is cozy and fur baby friendly. She sent us daily photos and updates. Nicole also graciously kept Jack an extra night, which wasn't scheduled, when our plane was delayed several hours. We picked up a happy and calm boy the next morning. About: Hi! I'm an experienced dog lover and foster who would love to welcome your pup into my home. I have had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for and engaging with many different types of dogs, personalities, and energy levels. I currently foster dogs through Copper's Dream Rescue, which has given me even more hands-on experience helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from their families. I'm also dog CPR and First Aid certified, so your pup's safety and well-being are always my top priorities. When your dog stays with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup has a fun, safe, and loving stay! I’m a teacher, so I’m typically home by 3 PM on weekdays, and my husband works from home during the week. This means your dog will have plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Our dogs get three walks a day, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime. If your dog enjoys dog parks, we also have a nearby dog park that is suitable for dogs who enjoy socializing and getting some extra exercise in the evening. On weekends, we love taking our dogs on dog-friendly adventures, so boarding with us can include lots of fun activities and new experiences when appropriate for your dog. Most importantly, we’ll follow your dog’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re staying with us I care for every dog like they are part of our family. Before their stay, I like to learn about their personality, routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. Because I foster dogs through Copper’s Dream Rescue, I’m comfortable working with many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m also dog CPR and First Aid certified, so safety is always a priority. During their stay, dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, playtime, and opportunities to relax. I’ll maintain their normal feeding and medication routines and follow any instructions you provide. My dog is a bit anxious and it takes him a while to warm up to new people but he quickly got comfortable with Sandi and her family for his 4 day/3 night stay which made me sooo happy and at peace. Sandi sent me incredibly detailed updates about my dog multiple times a day which I appreciated so much. It is obvious this family has a true and genuine care for animals which made me feel so safe having my little dog with them :) I would book them again in a heartbeat!”
