“Jennifer did an excellent job in taking care of my little girl! She provided me with updates and was accommodating of my schedule. I would definitely book with her again :)”

“Regina’s did a great job taking care of Kobe. She sent me pictures and videos almost every day, and she even dropped him off at another dog sitter for me when I wasn't able to since I was out of town for two weeks.”

“Martha was awesome! Very attentive and caring. Kept in contact to let me know how Angel was adjusting. And sent pictures which reassured me that she is definitely an animal lover 🩷🩷🩷”

“Alexandra was amazing! Sending daily pics/videos of Doug while we were on vacation. She was very flexible - allowing us to add another day at the last minute. Highly recommend!”

“Grisel was great! We got pics of every mea/walk/ play time and our dog seemed to love every minute of it! We’ll definitely be booking with Grisel again. Thank you!!”

“This was my second time leaving my little chihuahua, Molly, with Hana, and while our first day care experience was wonderful, this stay truly showed me the depth of Hana’s care and her genuine passion for dogs. I honestly can’t imagine ever leaving Molly with anyone else. Molly is a rescue and had only been with me for about two and a half months, so I was nervous about leaving her for a multi-night stay (especially since I’m the overly attached type of dog parent!). She’s tiny (only 6.5 lbs) and I tend to worry a lot about her comfort and safety. But Hana treated her as her own from the very beginning. Throughout the stay, Hana sent me tons of photos and videos, but what really stood out were her thoughtful updates...little details about Molly’s likes and dislikes, how she was eating, how she was interacting, and what made her happiest. It was clear that she wasn’t just “watching” her; she was truly getting to know and understand her. Hana and her husband, David, went above and beyond in ways I never expected; cleaning her clothes, trying to help with her teeth, even offering to stitch up a toy she had chewed apart. They were so kind that they even brought Molly by my home for a quick mid-stay visit while I was recovering from knee surgery, which meant the world to me. Video after video, I watched Molly become more relaxed and content, snuggling on the couch with Hana and David, clearly feeling loved and safe. By the end of her stay, it really felt like she had found her “second home.” I’m beyond grateful for Hana and David’s compassion, dedication, and warmth. Knowing Molly is so well cared for gives me incredible peace of mind. I truly can’t recommend them enough!”

“My little dogs have always stayed with family or a trusted neighborhood sitter, but when no one was available for an overnight, we were happy to find Bari. My pups were happy with the combo of activities (walks, a dog park visit) and relaxing on Bari’s couch. My 10 year old mini schnauzer has a bit of separation anxiety, but she, as well as my schnoodle, had no problem making themselves at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them stay with Bari again.”

“Incredibly kind and understanding! Gave a lot of proactive updates which eased my anxieties. This is the first time I ever had to board my kitties and they were both very caring and accommodating. Incredible help.”

“Danielle was great! She sent photos regularly to keep me posted on how my pup was doing. He usually gets anxiety but she made him comfortable and he was calm and content in no time. She was also very flexible when my return was later than expected. Highly recommend!”

“Patty did great with our Molly, who is a bit of a diva and still working on her social skills. She kept us updated on all her fun and her accomplishments. It felt like going to Auntie's house!”

“Danielle was so good with my baby and VERY patient. She has lots of her own babies to play with which was nice as well. She was very communicative and I felt comfortable with all of her updates. I would definitely use her again!”

“Chauncey had a great stay with Demetra. She has a yard that Chauncey and her dog played in nearly all day Sunday, and when I picked him up he was exhausted. Demetra is really responsive and communicative, and after meeting her I knew Chauncey was going to have a great time there. Would definitely rebook!”

“Miya was AMAZING! This was my first time booking with her and was quick to do a meet & greet. Instantly I knew she would be great to watch my pups from the questions she asked. Throughout my pups stay she sent lots of pictures and videos which made me feel at ease. I truly feel like she treated my pups like they were her own. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Scott is awesome, he's been my dog sitter for 4 years now. My dog is absolutely comfortable in his home, which reassures me if I need to leave him for an overnight trip.”

“It’s always a treat for our dog to stay with Jared and Andy! I just know that they love our little guy as much as we do, which is such a reassurance when you’re far away. I’ve booked them many times and will in the future for as long as they’ll have us!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sacramento
Achara was great with my nervous pup! He made friends with the other dogs and had a great time playing in her yard. I think his experience was much better than it would have been if I left him at a commercial boarding facility. Achara is very responsive to messages and sends frequent updates, which I appreciated.

Matt was our first experience with not only leaving Chili overnight with someone new, but also with using Rover.com - and we could not be happier! Matt was extremely responsive and sent daily updates with photos and videos. Matt's dog Kobe was a great friend to Chili, along with another dog guest that he was watching at the same time. We are so pleased with this first experience and we hope to see Matt for our future trips away!

Thank you so much for caring for my senior pup especially during the fireworks! Martha was such a pleasure and did a great job with communicating and keeping me updated on Puddles. Since it was the 4th of July weekend, Martha ensured that Puddles did her business before the fireworks and I really appreciate that. I would definitely use her for future sitting needs.

Noelle and her partner are awesome. I really appreciate them watching over my Tito. She has watched him for a few days or a few weeks. I went to the east coast for a week and she took care of my boujee little dog. Knowing my doggy is taken care of while I’m across country takes so much stress off for me. Thank you Noelle for always being there!🙏

We needed a last minute dog sitter for our labradoodle Brooke. Grace was very responsive and we are glad we found her as a new sitter. She sent daily updates and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Our dog had a great time going on walks and looked happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with Grace again!

Katherine was great! She was conscientious and accommodating about introducing our dogs and making sure my senior, special needs dog would be okay in the new environment. I'm always nervous about finding care for Stella when I have to travel, but I felt very comfortable leaving her with Katherine. And I'm grateful she kept me updated on how she was doing during her stay. Thank you!

Danielle was absolutely amazing! My baby was very well taken care of. She even went above and beyond and clipped her toenails for me. You won’t find a better pet sitter in the area that truly loves and cares for animals. Will definitely have her pet sit for me in the future. Thank you Danielle!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
