“Greta was so happy to see Achara when we dropped her off! Achara was very responsive and sent regular photos and updates. She was also very accommodating when our flight got delayed.”

About: I’ve always had a dog as part of my family, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I treat every pet like my own—with patience, affection, and attention to their unique needs. Whether it’s playtime or quiet companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I work from my home and my work schedule allows me to be flexible if needed when caring for your pet and scheduling dates you may need. I have a fenced yard and I can crate your pet if needed. My home is pet friendly. Your fur baby is allowed to stay indoors with me and I make sure to let out to play and have potty breaks throughout the day
“Martha made my dog feel super comfortable and at home. She also provided me with daily updates while I was out of the country, multiple times a day. I was very pleased and comfortable that my dog was in her care. Will definitely reach out to her the next time I go on vacation. She is the best sitter my dog has ever had!”

“Anna was completely accommodating to my doggo during her stay at Anna's clean house. Anna provided regular updates during the boarding process, and made sure my dog was healthy, happy, and surrounded by other friendly dogs. Thank you again!”

“We were so pleased with our experience working with Jennifer! Our dog came back so happy and we could tell she was definitely well taken care of and loved! We were nervous to leave our dog over NYE with all of the fireworks but Jennifer did an excellent job of helping her to feel comfortable. She also provided great daily updates. So happy to have found her and will definitely look to her again for future stays.”

“Thank you Reginay for caring for Queenie. She had a great time and I knew she was in the best hands. Lots of walks and play time. Pics and prompt communication. Appreciate it!”
“Ashlee was a great sitter for our pup, Bobbie! She sent videos everyday and I could see that Bobbie was having a great time playing with the other dogs and running around the yard. She came home and slept all day, which is quite out of the ordinary for a 9 month old lab 😅 Would definitely book her again!”

“Hana took great care of Evee! She sent frequent updates and lots of videos. Evee looked like she enjoyed a vacation away from home during her stay and loved the company of the other dogs Hana would board and walk. Would definitely book Hana again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier. Grisel was kind and listened to me as I shared Dori’s needs. Her home is set up well for taking care of pets. I received pics throughout Dori’s stay showing her doing some things I wasn’t sure she would do while in a strange place like eating. Grisel obviously has the “touch” to get her to feel comfortable. I will use Grisel again! Thank you Grisel.”
“Pavel graciously accommodated our last minute request to watch our pup for the afternoon/evening while we were in town for a baseball game. Our dog settled in immediately and was obviouslyu very comfortable and happy. Pavel is very kind, easy to communicate with, quick to respond to messages, and a wonderful and loving dog sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Bari is the best! She is the only person who’s been able to keep our skittish dog calm and happy when we are gone. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s being loved and spoiled while we are gone! Thank you Bari!”

“Miya was wonderful with our puppy Laika while we went on vacation for two weeks. Miya was knowledgable, communicative, and loved on our puppy so much! Highly recommended!”

“Roxy was great with our girls! Normally Hazel takes a little bit of time to warm up to strangers, and Koda does have a little bit of separation anxiety, but Roxy was able to get them to feel at ease right away!”

“Davis was a great communicator & very friendly. Our dog was very happy upon her return. He was very flexible with our pick up/drop off times on our boarding, which we appreciated. Cali now has a new family to take care of her any time we are in Sacramento! Thank you!!”

“Patty was amazing! It was my first time leaving my dog overnight and Patty made me feel so comfortable with lots of updates and photos. Penelope absolutely loved her, and I’ll definitely book again!”

“Chelsi did an amazing job with our 15 month old Miniature Schnauzer, Menace. We went on vacation for 5 days and couldn't take Menace. Since this would be his first time away from us for a long period of time we decided to look into having Menace stay with a pet sitter instead of putting him in boarding and we're so glad we found Chelsi. From my first interaction with Chelsi I was impressed and we did a meet and greet at her place with Menace to make sure he would be comfortable. Chelsi also told us she was raised around Miniature Schnauzers so she was familiar with the breed. Menace took to her right away and we instantly knew that she was a perfect fit for him. Throughout our vacation Chelsi was very responsive and sent daily updates and pictures which we appreciated as we were nervous about Menace being away from us. Menace had a blast with Chelsi and we will definitely use her again in the future. We recommend Chelsi to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She was amazing!”

“Michael has been Theo’s sitter on numerous weekends over the last year. He has been consistently responsive with messages, provides daily updates with photos, and is amazingly flexible with drop off and pick up times. Michael is more than a sitter, he’s a buddy that Theo gets to hang out with once every few weekends!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Sacramento
My regular sitter had to back out at the last minute and I was stressing out, but I'm very grateful to Marc and Rachael for accepting my 3 fur kids at the last minute. They sent me updates and pictures everyday, and I could tell that my dogs were very well cared for. Their house was a great environment for my doggies, and they did a great job with dogsitting them for a whole week. Highly recommended!

Matt and his wife provided great care to our dog while we were out of town for a couple days. This was my first time using rover and I was really pleased that I was fully kept in the loop daily with videos and pictures of my dog . She loved playing with the other dogs Matt was sitting for . She came home exhausted and slept for a whole day . Thank you Matt for opening your home to Nova and taking care of her as you do your own dog .

Amazing job with my girl Chia! Pavel was patient, caring, and did an excellent job. My dog looked great and was happy afterward. He noticed Chia was hoarding her water and he set out another bowl for her. Afterwards he said she was drinking much more and was happy. Highly recommend!

We needed a last minute dog sitter for our labradoodle Brooke. Grace was very responsive and we are glad we found her as a new sitter. She sent daily updates and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Our dog had a great time going on walks and looked happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with Grace again!

Aida watched my dog Luna for a few days and was amazing! She kept me updated with pictures the whole time which gave me so much peace of mind. She was super nice, accommodating, and clearly cared a lot about Luna. I could tell Luna was comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter!

Mansi was absolutely amazing with my 8-year-old Rottweiler. From the start, her communication was quick and consistent, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly flexible when my flight was delayed an hour—something I really appreciated during a stressful travel day. Most importantly, she was so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring with my dog. She let my girl cuddle up with her and allowed her to sleep in her room with her! My dog is strong and large and this never seemed to intimidate Mansi one bit! You can tell she really takes the time to understand each pet’s needs and makes sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their human is away. I would trust her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate.
