About: I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. About: I adore all cats and volunteered at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter to assess the temperment of new arrivals, determining of they were feral (and meant for the barn cat program), adoptable, or could be rehabilitated as domestic cats. I've cared for many older cats and my sweet Orange Kitty while he had cancer. I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. Since I don’t board dogs in my own home — I have a resident cat — all my care happens in your space, on your dog’s normal turf, which tends to be less stressful for them than an unfamiliar house. I follow whatever routine you set: meals, meds, walks, exercise. I work some evenings, so I am free most of the day to care for your furry friends. I take care of my own senior kitty in the mornings, after my evening shifts, and during any free days. I have pet sat for friends and family before, including giving medication and two daily walks. I will follow all instructions to the letter and ensure your pet feels right at home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was little, growing up with a sheltie dog from when I was born. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbor’s dogs and cats; taking them on walks, feeding them, playing with them and caring for them as if they were my own. Living the past 4 years with a roommates/friends who had an pitbull/husky mix and calico cat I helped out often with care and they became family to me as well. Two years ago I as well, had frequently the pleasure of getting to care for both dogs/cats through rover overnight as well as doing check in feedings. I’m currently working part time so I have the flexibility to play with your pets during the week days and all day on the weekends. I unfortunately don’t currently have the ability to board at my home. I always confirm with the client what the pets schedule may be, any health/behavioral concerns, likes/dislikes, emergency contacts & their local veterinary in case of emergency. Having open communication throughout the service, I feel as well helps so that everyone is on the same page in caring and maintaining the safety of their pet.
About: I have pet sat for friends and family throughout the years (youngins-seniors). I have a 9 year old cat of my own, adopted her when she was a kitten! I have also lived with family pets (two other cats and one dog). I love going for walks and I would have our family dog tag along all the time and would take care of her when the family was busy. About: I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. I’ve also volunteered with Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, helping with transportation, fostering dogs in need, and walking dogs at the rescue.
