“Highly recommended Achara for your fur babies. She took our dog tucker on short notice so that I could go back home for the holidays. Tucker can be very timid when meeting new people, but he adjusted well and they treated him as their own. I was provided with daily updates and pictures of how he was doing. He came home happy and tired from playing so much! Thanks again, Achara!”

“We were extremely happy with Irina and can truly recommend her without any hesitation. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. Throughout our time away, she sent us regular updates, messages, and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs were clearly happy, relaxed, and well cared for — which says everything. Irina is incredibly kind, reliable, and attentive, and you can truly tell that she loves what she does and cares deeply about the dogs she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust her with our dogs again anytime. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of them! 🐶❤️”

“We had a wonderful experience with Martha May while she boarded our dog, Loki. From the moment we connected, Martha was caring, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout his stay. She provided regular updates and thoughtful feedback, which gave us peace of mind and helped us better understand Loki's needs for future boarding visits. It was clear that Martha May genuinely cared about Loki's comfort and well-being, and he was well cared for during his time with her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to share helpful observations made the experience exceptional. I highly recommend Martha May to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. We would be happy to book with her again in the future!”

“We had another fantastic experience leaving our dog, Cooper, in Miya’s care! It’s so reassuring to enjoy our vacation knowing that Cooper is safe and receiving such genuine, attentive care. We don't live that close, but honestly, we’re more than happy to make the drive because Miya is just that good. We’ll definitely continue to book with her!”

“Kazue is everything you can ever ask for in a dog sitter. Very quick communication. Sends photos of my dog every morning, midday, and evening. She even folded my dog’s blanket and washed his bowls prior to me picking up my dog. She is absolutely wonderful!”

“Amazing! This was my first time using Rover and they were awesome at making me feel comfortable with the updates. Very friendly and would use them again and recommend them to anyone.”

“Wow! Thank you so much, Yifang and Wing! Charlie has been through a lot. Before I adopted him, he had been surrendered to the shelter twice, so he gets very nervous and scared around new people. Yifang and Wing were absolute lifesavers. They were so patient with Charlie and took the time to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. They sent the cutest photos, took him on walks, and gave me so much peace of mind. The sweetest part was that by the time I got home, they really knew Charlie and his little personality. It was clear how much they cared for him. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy. I highly recommend you!”

“Justin was a fantastic sitter! He took great care of Ronald, providing updates and pictures. Communication and drop off were very easy. We could tell Ronald had a good time—we highly recommend Justin!”

“Vanessa and her family were absolutely fantastic with our dog! We were kept up to date on daily activities and pictures with how he was doing! He was definitely treated like family and we will definitely be returning the next time we need a sitter!”

“Harry and Thomas were able to accommodate us on short notice which we so appreciated! They have a huge yard which Dakota fully enjoyed inspecting every inch of :) we will definitely rebook in the future”

“Macey takes such great care of my pup, Genji. Macey and her family treat my dog as if he were theirs. Macey also has well-socialized dogs of her own that also love and take care of Genji. This includes her Husky who is about 30xs bigger than Genji. I’ve used Macey twice now and will continue to do so.”

“Zak took great care of my three pugs while we were out of town. Kept us up to date with pictures and was very responsive when I wanted to check up on my fur babies. Thanks again Zak!”

“Grisel and her daughter took such good care of my Momo! I could tell Momo was comfortable and felt safe. They were also excellent communicators and send me very frequent picture updates of Momo, which I really appreciated. Would definitely have Momo stay with them again.”

“My pup had a great time at this doggie resort- the large backyard, shade and Zuko made it a wonderful place for my nervous girl. Seeing how Marilee interacted with Monina gave me the peace of mind to enjoy my vacation. Will definitely rebook whenever I need to travel.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dropped off my dog, Sugar, with Cody, and let me explain what “Sugar” is dealing with. Sugar is a tiny white cockapoo whose greatest natural predator is…existing. She’ll hear a leaf land three houses away and immediately file an insurance claim. She has been startled by her own reflection, a pillow, and once spent five minutes suspicious of a decorative pumpkin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So naturally, I was thinking, “There’s no way this dog survives being around another dog and a cat.” Wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cody has this supernatural calm that apparently extends to terrified fluff balls. His dog was basically like, “Hey, you wanna hang out?” Sugar answered in her native language, which is silent panic. His dog didn’t care. She just kept being cool until Sugar realized nobody was trying to assassinate her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then there’s the cat. Most cats look at a nervous little dog like they’re planning a documentary called How Easy Would It Be? Cody’s cat was just…chill. At one point I think the cat judged me more than it judged Sugar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By the end of the stay, Sugar was wandering around like she paid the mortgage. She actually looked relaxed. Relaxed! This is a dog who’s emotionally overwhelmed by a ceiling fan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what Cody does. Maybe he whispers affirmations. Maybe he has Disney-princess powers. Maybe his dog is running some kind of emotional support operation and the cat is HR. Whatever it is, it works. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I picked Sugar up happy, safe, exhausted from actually having fun instead of rehearsing imaginary disasters. Cody sent updates, took amazing care of her, and somehow convinced the canine equivalent of an anxious Victorian ghost that life isn’t one long emergency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your dog is confident, Cody will probably make them happier. If your dog is like Sugar and thinks gravity is a personal attack, Cody is basically a miracle worker. Ten out of ten. Would absolutely trust him again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugar probably still doesn’t trust the vacuum, but that’s between her and her therapist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Christine and David”

“Johnna was amazing! She was super communicative throughout Milo’s stay, sending me regular updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind. Milo instantly felt comfortable with her, and it was clear how much care and attention she gave him. I would recommend Johnna to anyone!”

“Manuel is AMAZING for so many reasons! His communication was thorough and thoughtful. He came across as an all-around warm and well natured person who extended true empathy and concern in an emergency situation which required a last minute dog sitter. He clearly loves dogs and is attentive to their needs and the needs of their humans. Manuel definitely went above and beyond for me and my dog. I’d happily schedule with him again and I confidently recommend him!!”

About: I've been caring for cats for most of my life and have helped care for 12 cats with a variety of personalities, ages, and energy levels - from kittens to senior cats! My experience includes feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning and changing litter boxes, playtime, brushing (when welcomed!), and making sure each cat feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I understand that every cat is different—some love attention, while others prefer their space. I'm happy to adapt to each cat's personality and routine, whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply have a calm, dependable person caring for them while you're away. I'll also provide regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your cat is happy and well cared for!

“Michelle is great. She took wonderful care of my two cats while I was gone and sent me some really great photos of them during her visits. She clearly loves animals. I'd hire her again in a second.”

“We hired Holly to house sit Tycho (cat) for two weeks. She was kind enough to put up with all our instructions and sent plenty of updates. Furthermore our kitty is extremely skittish and he warmed up to her very quickly. Will absolutely hire her again.”

“I'm so grateful for Natalie caring for Winston. She was so wonderful with sharing pictures and providing daily updates. I so appreciated not worrying about my boy. He felt super loved too. I could tell when I got back that he wasn't as stressed as when I normally leave town. Thank you so much!!! I'll be in touch soon.”

About: I have 2 female cats that I’ve had since they were kittens. One is a little spicy and one is sweet. I know how to take care of cats other than my own since I cat sit for my sisters cats. I know cats can take a while to open up or they just want to be left alone so I will do my best to bond with them as much as they left me.

“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

“I enjoyed seeing all the picture updates of Nikos stay again with Lety. My pup seems to always have a fun-filled day with her & Mason. Thank you for taking good care of my Niko. Our family is grateful!”

“I have used Manny for daycare on multiple occasions in recent weeks. I am an extremely neurotic pet parent and I always get nervous taking my dog to a new sitter. Manny went above and beyond in talking through my questions at length and asked thoughtful questions about my dog’s needs. My dog has done really well at Manny’s and I will be using his services in the future!”

“Happy I found Martha to take care of Niko. She responds in a timely manner & very flexible with my last minute requests. Niko enjoyed his stay with Martha & her family!”

“My dog seems to enjoy the experience with this dog sitter! Great communication with pictures of him enjoying plenty of toys and a nice walk. Highly recommend for a fun and caring dog daycare service.”

“Hands down one of the best dogsitters I've found. I have an extremely high energetic Dobie and Briana somehow made it seem easy. She sent pictures throughout his daycare stay and was very accommodating for last minute scheduling changes. If I could give a higher rating I would. Thank you Briana!”

About: I have been a pet owner for virtually my entire life! Cats, dogs, rabbits and even a bird! My partner and I recently lost our beloved Jack Russell Terrier “Terrie” after 14 wonderful years. While regular travel commitments make it difficult to adopt another companion of our own at this time, we would love the opportunity to care for your “best fur-iend” when we are home! My partner and I both work from home, so, rest assured, someone will always be there with your pet for playtime, potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. The house is of a decent size and currently we are without a full-time pet of our own. Your pet will enjoy being the center of attention!
“Tresa is absolutely wonderful! I am so happy to have found her on Rover. She is excellent at communicating, and even works with my very early mornings! My dog clearly loves doggy day care with her and it’s such a relief for when I have to be gone.”

“Ozzy had fun on his first daycare and went home tired in the best way! Nelly was honest, great and responsive to all my questions before, during and after the booking. On dropoff, Ozzy went right with Nelly without second thoughts or glance to me😂 so that tells me he loved Nelly. Thank you so much!”

“Anna looked after Simba while I attended a concert, she kept me updated with lots of pictures about what Simba was up to - I didnt have to worry about him! She made sure that Simba had a fun time with lots of love and treats! If you're looking for someone that'll make your pooch feel at home and have some fun while you're away - Anna's the one to choose!!”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.
“Johnna took such great care of Luna. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We received pictures and updates that kept us feeling confident in her care. Thank you Johnna!”

“Scott was great! Kept me up to date on the puppies ealks, play dates and and I can see the doggies were happy after a day with him. Thank you so much! Would book again 100%”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years, but my real training started with my own dog Haku. He has taught me patience, routine, and how to understand different dog personalities. I am used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. Haku is friendly with children, other dogs, and cats, so I understand the importance of proper introductions and calm environments. Every dog has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I work from home, so I get to spend most of my day around dogs. I’m available for boarding on weekends and flexible during weekdays. Your pup will have company, regular walks, and a steady routine instead of being left alone all day. Dogs can sense calm energy, and I bring that into my home. I keep things structured but relaxed. I respect each dog’s personality and never force interactions. Haku runs quality control and makes sure every guest feels welcome.
“Marina is incredibly responsive and provided wonderful care for my old dog. I can tell my dog likes her visits and walks. Marina is attentive, asks questions, and overall very caring. Highly recommend Marina!”

About: I have had dogs in my family for my entire life and have been around them for over 30 years. I have a cattle dog Bjorn, and grew up with those, and my cousin has 2 large breed mix dogs that I also love to spend time with. We have 2 cats in our house as well, an orange cat named Fritz and a siamese named Tut. I am currently working part time, and on summer break, so I have lots of time available to assist with feeding and walking dogs currently. I am an experienced walker and have no issues following special instructions to make sure your pup is safe and cared for the way they recognize.

About: Hi! I’m originally from Norway and currently live with my husband and our very friendly cat. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I was the main caregiver for my dog for 11 years, so I’m very used to daily walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe and happy. Since then, I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats, cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, and I even had 3 bunnies myself, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, because they really are family. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or just wants company and affection, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them like they’re my own❤️❤️ I currently work part time starting around 4 PM, and my husband gets off work around the same time (3:30pm) so there will almost always be someone home to care for your pet. I also have a lot of free time and love to stay active during the day, I love to walk, hike and run,so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m excited to give your pet lots of attention and care while you are away! I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable in my home. We recently moved into our apartment, so there isn’t a lot of clutter or things pets can get into. Our cat is also very nosy, so we’ve already made sure our home is very pet-proof and safe. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and any instructions from the owner. Whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication, or just giving them extra attention and comfort, I’ll make sure they feel cared for and at home while you’re away. I also love going on walks and staying active, so dogs will get plenty of exercise, attention, and outdoor time with me💓

“I have a small breed senior dog and a cat. Its hard to find someone I feel I can trust to give them the same care and attention as myself when I am away from home. Natalie is someone I know I can trust my babies with, she takes a bunch of photos each time she walks my dog and feeds him. She goes above and beyond every time and I can tell my dog and cat absolutely adore her and are happy when she comes to help. Thank you Natalie!”

About: Hi there! I’m Jenna and I have been around animals all of my life. I have been house sitting/ animal sitting for over 10 years now. I can take care of dogs of any breed, cats, horses, goats etc. I do work full time, but my partner works from home and they are able to provide care when i am at work. We can accommodate special requests I am in an apartment on the 1st floor. We have a dog park, and a lot of grassy areas nearby. I have a camera set up in my living room, that allows me to check on the animal throughout the day. We also have extra toys and treats for animals staying with us.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I now have a rescue dog that is 111lbs, & at 6 years old still thinks he’s a puppy. So I can handle a lot of dog sizes, weights & personalities. Here for walks or check ins & feeding if you’re out of town or need help. Message me! 🐕🦮🐕🦺 I am available for afternoon and evening walks, check ins, feeding and play time. I am also available on weekends and Fridays after 12pm. Just let me know what works for you! I have a large dog at home that is a lot to handle so boarding in my home would be difficult. I am trustworthy and caring so you can trust your furry family member in my care.

About: Greetings! I have been walking dogs (professionally for 15 years) my whole life and have expanded into other care taking services. Don't consider it a favor; this is a quick fix to get my daily dosage of dog love. I find a connection with dogs from all walks of life and am attentive to the intuitive communication between us, and respond accordingly to their needs. I am actively involved with the dog. They are very special creatures, and as extensions of ourselves they require as much attention and room to play as we do. As a firm believer that dogs can teach us important lessons we tend to overlook as humans, I very much appreciate traversing town and with canine companions as means for exploration.

“Teri is amazing. Very caring about my pet, and following our routines. She’s also very knowledgeable & safety focused, so I felt very comfortable leaving my pet in her hands while I was away. First Rover experience was exactly what I needed when I booked Teri! I will book her again when I’m back in Sacramento.”

About: Hi there! I have been a responsible dog owner for over 8 years and have fostered several dogs in the past. I also worked as a dog groomer for 4 years. I worked on Rover on and off throughout my time in college and now I finally have enough time to come back and take care of dogs again. I am a dedicated animal lover that is ready to meet your pet's needs. If you need me to stop in and take your dog out on a walk, don't worry! I've handled dogs with all kinds of temperaments and won't have any problems if your pup is a bit rambunctious or a strong puller. If you have any questions, please ask! I can't wait to meet your furry family :) I currently have a part-time job that allows me 3 days off out of the week. I am available at any time of the day, Saturday-Monday. I can usually accomodate walks/drop-ins the rest of the weekdays if it is after 3pm. I have a pup of my own and always have water and treats on hand during walks. I'll always send some photos and updates to let you know how your pup's day is going. I believe that pets are part of the family, so I make sure to give them lots of attention and care. I can spend quality time with your pets, play with them, feed them, and help them explore all the new smells on our walks.
About: Nothing is more important to me than the health and safety of your family. Safety being most important, my next concern is that your dog has a positive and rewarding experience in any environment they find themselves. I train dogs. My walk price reflects that experience and value I add to your dog’s experiential learning. My core philosophy is that all learning be a positive incentive based experience for the dog. Boarding rates do not include dog training. Dogs in my care receive structure throughout their day including structured playtime, walks, training, and enrichment consistent with the needs of the client. Each dog is an individual, and I welcome a discussion to find out how I can best serve your dog’s individual needs! My demonstration dog is a 1.5 y/o Malinois Husky. He is stable with all dog breeds and sizes. I work him as a sport dog but he is built to be a companion dog. Dogs in B&T may be crated or in an exclusion room for compression and decompression when not actively being trained or exercised. They will also receive structured play and walks consistent with their individual goals.
About: I grew-up and around animals of all kind my entire life, though mostly owned cats. However, in 2012, my husband and I adopted a pug and there began my journey and infatuation with pugs and pups of all kinds. We've always been the go-to for friends and family who needed sitters for their dogs of all breeds and ages. I've also worked with blind and visually impaired folks in a non profit setting for 5 years and have experience watching the dog guides/service dogs of friends for extended periods of time while they were "off duty" and have spent lots of time around them while they were on-duty, as well. I originally signed-up for Rover soon after our pug passed away because we weren't ready to adopt another fur-child and had so much love to give other pups out there. But, we ended up rescuing another pug about a year ago, so I went on a break from Rover to focus on our new girl, Hot Stuff. However, I decided to activate my account again as I'm in a bit of a career transition and am intentionally seeking activities, experiences that align with my values and passions, which includes caring for animals, and would love to spend as much time with fur babies as possible. They make the BEST company. Ultimately, I'm obsessed with all animals, and especially dogs. I think the world would be a much more harmonious place if everyone had a fur-baby in the family:) I currently don't have a personal pet to care for, or children at home and work remotely Monday-Friday, so can be somewhat flexible with my daily and weekly routine. All I can say, before out pup passed away, he was the center of our universe and our schedules/routines were based on him and his needs - his morning and evening spa treatments, making his food from scratch daily, taking him for multiple walks, cuddling and petting him throughout the day, inviting him to be on-camera during my work meetings. Because he was old, he also got regular walks in his special "puggy buggy" and we very rarely ever left him alone for more than an hour at a time. And I would care for anyone else's fur-child with the same concern and devotion. They are not just "pets" but family.

“Highly recommended Achara for your fur babies. She took our dog tucker on short notice so that I could go back home for the holidays. He came home happy and tired from playing so much! Thanks again, Achara!”

“Thank you so much Briana for taking such great care of our two furry babies. I felt so at ease being away for "12 days" knowing our babies was in such caring hands. See you again next year.”

“Our dogs had an amazing stay with this daughter and mom duo. They gave us daily updates and we can tell they loved our dogs like their own. They had a nice yard and space for the dogs to go out and play in! Even with the yard space they still took them on walks and played ball with them. We will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Catherine and Ernie took great care of Max. Both were very communicative before and during his stay. They were very kind and clearly love dogs. I highly recommend both!”

“Alexandra is a very caring and excellent addition to our beloved Bellas extended care! She sent us detailed updates and pics of our baby daily. We were incredibly impressed that she was able to successfully groom Bella. Bella has a long history of not being welcomed back for groomers due to her defensive and aggressive nature for many years. Shes informative, patient and responds so well to our babys grooming needs. Alexandra was able to successfully groom her! Shes definitely a grooming gangster! We highly recommend Alexandra as your go to for everything care dog needs. We will continue to use her services in the future!”

“Amazing as always ! Cairo loves her so much & he's so happy while he’s there. I feel super comfortable with him being there because she literally treats him like he’s her own 😊 We will be back again soon !”

“Erin and Devin took such amazing care of our dog, Kody, while we were away. Kody is usually pretty anxious, so we’re always a bit nervous leaving him—but he absolutely loved being with them. It was clear from the updates that he felt comfortable, happy, and right at home. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation stress-free, which means everything. We’re so grateful to have found Erin and Devin and wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with Kody again. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you thank you Rebecca for taking very good care of Bruno. We had a stress-free vacation only because we trusted Bruno is in caring and loving hands! I can see how comfortable he was with you by the way he ran back into your house and showed us what he did and where he slept and all!! We are very fortunate to find you. Thank you so so much!”

“Needed a last minute sitter for a week while we were away, and couldn’t be happier with Amanda!
