We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. About: I've owned pets my whole life and spent my childhood living on a ranch with just about every farm animal you can name. Now, as an adult living a more suburban lifestyle, I'm happy to provide loving care for your dog and/or cat in a home-based, high attention environment. As a dog mom myself, I know how difficult it is to trust a stranger with your fur child and the importance of continuing the love and care your pet receives at home. I'm available for boarding on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. My husband and I work mostly remote, so your fur baby will receive plenty of attention and companionship from both ourselves and our mini dachshund, Charlie! We have a small fenced-in backyard with concrete and turf for potty breaks. Overnight fur guests will have both indoor and outdoor access and can be crated in the downstairs living room during nighttime sleep hours. Blankets, toys, and preferred treats are welcome to help provide your pet with a sense of home.

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

I have a cattle dog Bjorn, and grew up with those, and my cousin has 2 large breed mix dogs that I also love to spend time with. For a time I had a rescue dog, Judge, who struggled with aggression, leash reactivity, and general fear/anxiety.
