“Our pack was in great hands with Roy. Two of our three dogs are seniors and he did an excellent job of meeting their needs. We received updates and pictures frequently while we were on our trip, which we loved. They had plenty of exercise and attention. We definitely came home to happy dogs. Roy is the BEST pet sitter!! His communication, attention to detail and professionalism alleviated any concerns we had about leaving our dogs while were away.”

“We were so pleased with our experience working with Jennifer! Our dog came back so happy and we could tell she was definitely well taken care of and loved! So happy to have found her and will definitely look to her again for future stays.”

“Brandee's care and concern for my fur-kid was exceptional. She's very likable and an excellent communicator. She's clearly integrated Rover into her household's every day happenings and my dog confidently made himself right at home with her and her family. Dropping a dog off at Brandee's is like taking a kid to a favorite cousin's house for the week -all play and no home sick blues.”

“Grisel was amazing! It was Bran’s first time being boarded through Rover so we had our initial worries about how he would do. Grisel’s updates and photos of him were something that we looked forward to everyday, she sent so many updates on his playing, feeding and walking time and was very understanding of his occasional shyness. We will definitely be booking her services again the next time we are out of town! I am so happy and relieved that we made a good choice for our first rover experience.”

“Danielle was awesome per usual! She takes great care of my Bella when I am away and send me updates/photos! I am always at ease knowing that Bella is in great hands! Thank you again ❤️”

“Patty is amazing. Very kind. Very thoughtful. And, truly loves dogs. She treated our pup with the highest of care and took excellent care of her. She’s responsive and extremely accommodating. “Danielle was a fantastic host. She is a good communicator, very accommodating and overall just a delightful person. Cersei felt 100% comfortable staying with Danielle and had fun playing with her own pups as well.”

“Michael was awesome! He sent multiple picture updates throughout Stella's stay. It was so nice to know that she was getting individualized care, and he seemed to be showering her with attention (which she absolutely loves). We ended up booking with Michael because our usual (and much closer) Rover boarder was unavailable, but we would love to book with him again in the future!”

“I wanted to send a big thank you to you for watching Moose. I am often hesitant about leaving him with someone else, but I truly feel I left him with the right person. I really appreciate how responsive, sweet, and respectful you were throughout the stay. Your knowledge about dogs is clear, and it was wonderful that you could take him on walks and spend time with him while working from home and sending daily updates. I would definitely like to book with you again for my next trip. You are a 10/10 for me :) Thanks again!”

“Kazue is the caregiver of our dreams ! A caring , pup pampering, diligent communicator. Our pups were excited and relaxed at our meet and greet and returned for their first stay tugging at their leashes to go back . They got daily walks, a nice shaded grassy yard to romp around, and Kazue provided frequent pictures and updates. At the end of their stay our boys were excited to see us, but also stopped to give goodbye kisses to Kazue🥰 as We know they will miss her and be happy to return .”

“Alexandra was great with my dog. I needed a last minute boarding for Apollo and she was able to take him in. She is quick to respond. Very professional and knows how to handle my teenage boy, Apollo.”

About: I have 2 female cats that I’ve had since they were kittens. One is a little spicy and one is sweet. I know how to take care of cats other than my own since I cat sit for my sisters cats. I know cats can take a while to open up or they just want to be left alone so I will do my best to bond with them as much as they left me.

“Jenna was great with our two cats while we were out of town for the week! She made sure they had wet and dry food, water and clean litter boxes each day. Great communication and sent us pictures each day”

“Natalie is awesome. Kolby love’s Natalie and I actually think he was upset it was me coming home and not Natalie visiting 😂 I love that I trust Natalie enough to go hiking in the back country without cell service because she would take care of him 100%.”

“We can rely on Michelle to care for our cats in our absence. She takes the time to get to know each personality. Michelle doesn't just take care of their feeding needs, she gives them love and attention when we aren't at home. Thank you, Michelle!!”

“Liz is EXCEPTIONAL!!! ฅ^>⩊<^ฅ She is communicative, attentive and extremely thorough. Liz followed all the instructions provided and sent thoughtful updates and a ton of adorable pictures each visit. She treated my babies like her own and even had the magic to woo my extremely shy kitty, Cookie, out of hiding!! Momo and Cookie give Liz 10/10 mousies—highly recommend!!!”

“Kirthi, oh my goodness. I’ve had many sitters from Rover in the past, but definitely felt most comfortable with Kirthi dropping in to see my cats. I appreciated the check-in before I left and then the attention to detail each day while I was gone. I received reports about the cats’ food, water, activities, etc. and even a couple pictures. I definitely will be asking Kirthi to keep an eye on my kitties next time I travel.”

“Holly took the best care of my two cats who both require meds in the mornings and evenings. She won over their hearts and trust so that insulin injections, pills and syringe meds all went well, with lots of snuggles and playtime. Thank you so much, Holly! 🐾🐾”

“Jazmine took great care of my cat last minute while I was away. She’s very responsive and communicates clearly and I appreciated the notes left when my cat hid from her the entire time so pictures weren’t an option. World definitely rebook Jazmine next time I need a pet sitter.”

“My kitty loved Brenna! She was very communicative while we were out on vacation and sent us lots of pictures and updates. Our house was in the same shape as when we left we will definitely book her again.”

“Riker had such a good experience with Roy the past 2 days. Roy offered a meet and greet before the Riker’s first stay. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.”

“She was very patient and flexible with my ever changing plans due to weather and my commitments to be at a friend’s bday. I was not able to drop my dog off , but she was more willing to take my smaller dog in and cage him in a quiet room so he would feel safe. She also agreed to take him out for a walk. Due to the weather the same day we confirmed, but on the way cancelled and paid for the day care as this is her livelihood. We could have asked to cancel, but that is not what good pet parents do. They make sure people like Mrs. Achara are taken care of as well. I will use her in the future when we are in West Sacramento. Our dog is almost 15 and she was committed to taking care of him in the way we felt was best for him.”

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

“Mack had a great time with Grisel! She sent many photos throughout the day, and Mack was playing with other dogs and looked very happy. Grisel is very responsive and great with Mack!”

“Wunna was amazing! The moment our dog, Shadow, met him, they got along and Shadow trusted him immediately. He was flexible and accommodating of our schedule. He responded to our messages quickly too, which we really appreciated.”

About: I have 20 years of experience with dogs. I have trained my own dogs as well. I’ve learned a lot about behavior and reinforcement with dogs. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 6 years old. My schedule is very flexible. I can also assist in overnight sitting as well. I have a labradoodle that is friendly around other dogs. I’m open to any type of dog no matter the needs! I'm working at home so I’m pretty open. we can work something out because I’m very flexible. also if you want i can watch your dog over night. my labor doodle loves to play and wrestle so she can be annoying sometimes but she will get along just fine with other dogs that is not so much people because shes afraid of them.
About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
“It’s been 6 months last time my fur-child visited Martha. His reacquaintance with Martha & her family went smoothly! I received a comforting video of him playing with Misty and pictures during his stay. Happy to have found Martha!!”

“Great Doggy Daycare! Annie took wonderful care of my dog, Shiloh, during daycare. She was kind, professional, and kept great communication. Shiloh came home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know! I highly recommend Annie. Randy & Shiloh 🐾”

“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

“Becky was amazing with our newly adopted fur baby! I had to reach out last minute and she was so willing to help. She took Daisy out for her walks and gave her her medicine and ointments as well as sent me updates throughout their day together ◡̈”

About: I love animals which includes pets! I come from a home that has two of the sweetest pitbulls. Moving out I of course got a cat, and she does well with dogs! I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. Hire me to give your pet the care they deserve. I currently only work a part time job for 2 days out the week from 11-4pm. However my partner works full time at home and is my helper in this! We have the same values about pets and will ensure amazing care. Big living room area with tons of space to be in and rooms. Closed doors for alone time but most importantly front door with access to street closed off.
“My fur baby always has an amazing time at Aubree’s. He’s passes out as soon as he gets in the car which I can only guess is because he’s had such a fun time playing and running around at daycare. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Wendy was great with my dog and really helped to ease his anxiety with a recent move. He was excited to get to her house each day. Would highly recommend! Thank you, Wendy!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my experiences with Taylor providing doggy daycare for my puppy. She has amazing communication and will keep you updated throughout the day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hi! I’m originally from Norway and currently live with my husband and our very friendly cat. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I was the main caregiver for my dog for 11 years, so I’m very used to daily walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe and happy. Since then, I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats, cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, and I even had 3 bunnies myself, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, because they really are family. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or just wants company and affection, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them like they’re my own❤️❤️ I currently work part time starting around 4 PM, and my husband gets off work around the same time (3:30pm) so there will almost always be someone home to care for your pet. I also have a lot of free time and love to stay active during the day, I love to walk, hike and run,so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m excited to give your pet lots of attention and care while you are away! I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable in my home. We recently moved into our apartment, so there isn’t a lot of clutter or things pets can get into. Our cat is also very nosy, so we’ve already made sure our home is very pet-proof and safe. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and any instructions from the owner. Whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication, or just giving them extra attention and comfort, I’ll make sure they feel cared for and at home while you’re away. I also love going on walks and staying active, so dogs will get plenty of exercise, attention, and outdoor time with me💓

Looking after your pet is a dream job and definitely helps when I’m missing my own pets while being away from home. I would love to take this opportunity and share my love and care to your pets! I am very familiar with the routine of caring for pets in others houses. I am responsible, clean, and committed to doing the very best work I can for you and your pet.
“Julissa was great. Super communicative and took great care of our dog. There was a problem with the door lock, but she was so understanding and worked with us to get it fixed. We will definitely book her again.”

About: My family has always been a pet family, so I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I am respectful of others homes and their preferences regarding their pets. Please let me know if you have any specific requests or things to avoid when taking care of your previous companion.

“Brooke is professional, communicative, and takes great care of our pets. I love reading her notes and seeing the photos when she comes to walk our dog. I highly recommend her services.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've owned four dogs, both large and small breeds, and have a deep understanding of their unique needs. One of my dogs had a seizure disorder, so I’m very comfortable administering medications multiple times a day and responding calmly and confidently to medical emergencies like grand mal seizures. I also groom my own long-haired small dog and have experience with breeds that require regular grooming and extra TLC. I volunteered at the ASPCA, where I completed their dog socialization training. This taught me a lot about canine behavior, safety, and how to build trust with dogs of all backgrounds. I walked and socialized dogs at the center, and it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Over the years, I’ve provided house and pet sitting for family and friends, always making sure to adapt to each pet’s routine and personality. I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog I meet and aim to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved in my care. Outside of pet care, I work as an environmental scientist and am passionate about protecting wildlife and our natural world. I work a typical Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule, but have some flexibility and often work from home. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and would love the chance to care for your furry family member! I work in environmental science and typically 8am -5pm Monday through Friday. I have a hybrid schedule that allows me flexibility to work from home or wherever and I have every other Friday off. I am typically free on weekends unless I have a scheduled vacation, which will be on my schedule. I care for pets in their own home to help maintain their routine and sense of comfort. I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and always prioritize each dog’s unique needs and personality. With experience handling medical conditions and understanding dog behavior, I create a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I treat every dog like family and aim to make them feel secure and cared for in your absence.
About: I grew-up and around animals of all kind my entire life, though mostly owned cats. However, in 2012, my husband and I adopted a pug and there began my journey and infatuation with pugs and pups of all kinds. We've always been the go-to for friends and family who needed sitters for their dogs of all breeds and ages. I've also worked with blind and visually impaired folks in a non profit setting for 5 years and have experience watching the dog guides/service dogs of friends for extended periods of time while they were "off duty" and have spent lots of time around them while they were on-duty, as well. I originally signed-up for Rover soon after our pug passed away because we weren't ready to adopt another fur-child and had so much love to give other pups out there. But, we ended up rescuing another pug about a year ago, so I went on a break from Rover to focus on our new girl, Hot Stuff. However, I decided to activate my account again as I'm in a bit of a career transition and am intentionally seeking activities, experiences that align with my values and passions, which includes caring for animals, and would love to spend as much time with fur babies as possible. They make the BEST company. Ultimately, I'm obsessed with all animals, and especially dogs. I think the world would be a much more harmonious place if everyone had a fur-baby in the family:) I currently don't have a personal pet to care for, or children at home and work remotely Monday-Friday, so can be somewhat flexible with my daily and weekly routine. All I can say, before out pup passed away, he was the center of our universe and our schedules/routines were based on him and his needs - his morning and evening spa treatments, making his food from scratch daily, taking him for multiple walks, cuddling and petting him throughout the day, inviting him to be on-camera during my work meetings. Because he was old, he also got regular walks in his special "puggy buggy" and we very rarely ever left him alone for more than an hour at a time. And I would care for anyone else's fur-child with the same concern and devotion. They are not just "pets" but family.

“Carrie did a wonderful job walking our pup, Jo! Carrie was professional, prompt and kind. Jo came back from her walk happy and tired - she said hello to us and immediately took a nap. Would absolutely recommend Carrie and we’re so happy to have found an awesome dog walker close by!”

“I cannot say enough about how great Natalie is with Chet and in general. She is really knowledgeable about dogs and their energies and idiosyncrasies. I am forever grateful for finding her on Rover!”

“Rebecca is amazing!! I almost don’t want to leave a review because I want to keep her all to myself! I have a senior dog who has some behavioral issues and she handled it all with grace. She is such a dog lover and it shows and she goes above and beyond for your fur baby. We’ll use her as much as she is available!”

“Always available and communicative during the stay. He is consistent with sending photo updates and meeting food/medication needs. His elder pup is super patient and kind as well, and a great example for socializing.”

“Declan had such a great time!! We were so worried about leaving Declan but Marcie took great care of him and put our minds at ease. She sent us so many photos too (which we loved!) and was very responsive when we messaged her to check in on our pup.”

“They were so accommodating on such short notice. Gave Bodie the quiet space she needed on the final leg of her spay recovery. Received many updates along with photos. I don't think she wanted to leave when it was time to pick her up. Wonderful people and will definitely keep Marie & James in mind for next time. <3”

“We always love having Becky watch our pup. Attentive to his needs, accurate with his medication, and always making sure to send lots of adorable updates. Our pup loves her!”

“Pavel graciously accommodated our last minute request to watch our pup for the afternoon/evening while we were in town for a baseball game. Our dog settled in immediately and was obviouslyu very comfortable and happy. Pavel is very kind, easy to communicate with, quick to respond to messages, and a wonderful and loving dog sitter. Highly recommend!”
