After graduating in 2019, I continued working as a veterinary assistant for a year, learning medical terminology and how to administer injections, perform venipuncture, and also administer medications orally just to name a few. I love playing any games your dog enjoys and teaching them tricks! Bigger dogs are a bit harder for me, the largest I’ve experienced are black labs, pitbull mixes, German shepherds, Great Danes, and my brother’s Texas heeler! I was working as a PCR laboratory technician, where we worked with animal samples such as fecal matter, urine, and blood to name a few. I was responsible for preparing and extracting samples so that they can go through the analysis and we can provide test results to veterinarians so that they are able to come up with a diagnosis. I wanted a bit more laboratory experience, but since I don't get my fair share of animals as I did at my old job, I would love to help you care for your pets!
