“Riker had such a good experience with Roy the past 2 days. Roy offered a meet and greet before the Riker’s first stay. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with about five years of hands-on pet sitting experience. Growing up around animals has given me a natural comfort with them, and over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I currently live in an apartment complex in Davis with no fenced in yard but a lot of great walking paths nearby as well as a big park for some running around if they want to play some ball! I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. Aspiring veterinarians usually know they have a special gift with animals as a child, as I discovered at the age of 7. Thus, I have been involved in the husbandry of my own dogs, cats, and exotic animals the majority of my life! Due to my extensive experience as a lab animal technician, kennel attendant, and shelter volunteer, I have 6 years of professional experience in animal husbandry. During the year of the notorious Camp Fire, I worked as a veterinary assistant at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital to 4th year veterinary students with disabilities during their clinical year. As their "right hand woman", I provided various accommodations for physical and intellectual limitations in order to facilitate their success. I was directly involved with the treatment of animal patients in ophthalmology, cardiology, community practice, community surgery, companion avian and pet exotics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, shelter medicine & surgery, anesthesia, behavior, and nutrition. For several years, I also gained technical skills as a veterinary assistant in small veterinary hospitals and for the nonprofit Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless.
