About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals for many years! My speciality has always been cats! I have a home in westlake and in south Natomas. So I’m pretty versatile! I am that lady that will stop in the middle of the road to help an injured or lost pet! Cats have the most amazing, fun and sassy personalities! You just have to know to understand them and let them lead the way. Cat language is very unique and can be easily understood if you have the experience and passion for cats, like I do! Let me know if you need me to help give your cat love or attention, I’m sure they would appreciate it! I currently work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible! I have a good working car with plenty of room in case it’s needed. I treat everyone as I would want my own pets and home cared for. I make every pet feel at home and welcomed! Every pet is different and will get his/her own special attention/accommodations. I think about how I would want my own pets cared for and the relief I would have while I’m away knowing that someone is truly making my pet part of the family, even if just for a short time.

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

I was thrilled to find Jill because of her experience caring and training dogs. I don’t normally leave Molly for more than a few hours at this point in her life, but I had a family wedding to attend out of town. She stayed with Jill and several others dogs overnight (it was nice to see she got along with the other dogs too). About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.

I often enjoy early morning walks at the river with my off leash pack, then I work and train dogs through the day. 1) Safety First: animal welfare is the #1 priority, full stop. 2) Relationship Second: training does not being until trust is built between animal and handler. This is very important - I will never push the animal faster than they are ready to move or faster than the trust and relationship will support. 3) Goals Third: after we ensure safety and build a trusting relationship, we can prioritize the client’s goals for training. Training is done through positive incentive based learning following science-backed principles of learning theory.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I adore all animals and really enjoy their company. Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I would love to spend time with your pets when you are not able to. I currently work part time from home and have a flexible schedule. I would have plenty of time to spoil your fur babies with walks and belly rubs. I can do doggy daycare and boarding almost any day and time as long as your dog is tolerant to other dogs and is up to date on vaccinations. Playtime, walks, snuggles, and whatever else your pups or cats needs are, I am more than happy to supply them with the love and attention they need while you are away.
