About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 6 years and have worked with a wide variety of breeds with different personalities from family and friends! I’m always going the extra mile in learning more about a certain breed I’m unfamiliar with by doing extensive research on them and taking the time to work with the owner to understand their dog’s characteristics. I’m currently working hybrid as an Engineer and am available to walk your dogs and even check in on them Wednesday-Sundays anytime to accommodate your dog’s needs! I always treat my dog with the utmost respect and she always responds with the same respect right back. I’m always rewarding dogs for commands whether it be treats or positive reinforcement and I’m always portraying a positive and vibrant attitude towards them. When going on walks, I make sure to pay extra close attention to our surroundings and the dog’s body language. If they’re aloof and not responding to commands, I try to always stay calm, patient, persistence and reinforce positive behavior with treats or verbal praise towards them. While every dog is different, I try to adapt and be flexible with every dog’s needs and I try to stay consistent with my commands and behaviors depending on the owner’s requirements.

About: I have 4 kitties and 1 pup of my own. I have had no less than 3 cats my entire life, and am always helping the local strays as well, so I have loved cats of every type of personality and special need. I take my pup with me just about everywhere, so I have a lot of experience being out and about with a canine companion. My dog doesn't like other dogs, so I am also comfortable caring for pups that prefer not to be around other dogs. If you're looking to give your pup an extra special day out at a new park, I would love to bring them on an adventure! If your dog and/or cat is all about routine, I've got you. Playtime? I am so there! Or maybe your little one is a bit anxious and just wants some scratches and snuggles - I am here to make them feel safe and loved while you are away. <3 Whatever they need most, I am here to provide. I am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, and as such, I have an extremely flexible schedule, so I can be available whenever it is that you need me the most! I always have access to my own car, so even if you need your pup taken to an appointment or to their most special favorite park, I am happy to do so. If you're looking for someone to stay with your pet all day and/or night, everything I need to do my freelance work is portable, so I can give your little one all the attention they deserve. :) I am the master of catering to the needs of all different types of pet personalities, as I have 4 cats and 1 dog of my own, all very unique from one another. “I chose Duyen with my first time using the Rover app, and I was not disappointed! First of all - I chose her because she had experience with animals by volunteering at the shelter, and her bio reflected a caring person who really love animals. This is important to me because I do not trust my husky and two cats with just any stranger. I must admit I was hesitant to use Rover because of this, but upon my first time meeting Duyen and talking to her while walking my husky Kaiju with her - I could already tell how in tuned she was with her behavior and Kaiju's positive reactions to Duyen made me feel comfortable with requesting her to care for our animal family. Duyen was very responsive on the app, asked the right questions, and followed each instruction to every detail. Her reports along with pictures and videos during the two days of her on site visit reflected the care she took of our animals and the respect she had for us as owners. About: I have always been an animal lover and understand that pets are part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m a proud dog owner of Aslan, a Chihuahua-Poodle mix, and I know how important it is to provide patience, love, attention, and a safe environment. I’m currently open from Mon- Friday from 10am- 7pm. Whatever your dogs needs I’m there for it. I will be available most of days except the weekends in the morning. I have a fenced yard and I do allow dogs to go on the furniture and bed. I also have extra leashes and blankets if needed.
About: My family has had 4 dogs in my lifetime and I have loved every one of them very much. I have two dogs at home right now and I love to spend time with them. During the holidays and over the summer I work at WAG hotels in Redwood city as an all day play employe. I pretty much supervise large groups of dogs and make sure they get along, are safe, clean up after them, and give them lots of love. As I'm writing this I am a student at Sacramento State and I am pretty flexible with dates and times on most days. Spending time with dogs is one of my favorite things to do and I would love to spend some time with your doggy. I am currently a student at Sacramento State and have a decently clear schedule. I have class at 4:30-5:45 on Monday's and Wednesday's, class from 1:30-2:45 on Tuesday's and Thursdays and class from 4:30-5:45 on Tuesdays. I have no set schedule for weekends so I am pretty open Friday-Sunday but any other day works well based on my class schedule. Unfortunately I live in an apartment building right now so I cant provide hospitality for your dog but I would love to play with them in a yard or a park and take them on nice walks or do anything else needed for your doggy. Ive worked with all types of dogs so I am ready for anything.

“Jessica was incredible. She requested to bring a friend along for our first meet for her own safety, I absolutely obliged I wanted her to feel comfortable taking care of Willow. She brought her friend Simon. The two of them were extremely kind and sweet. I left them my keys and let them know about my travel plans and left little Willow home for them to take care of. Jessica showed up every single time upon our agreed time and took the cutest little pictures of my kitten. Her and Simon played with her. Fed her exactly as requested and were extremely non intrusive on my space. She left detailed notes about her visits, from how much of a mess (in the litter) Willow left, How much she ate and how she responded to new friends in the house. Jessica was fantastic at cleaning up after Willow and kept her very happy and entertained while I was away. Jessica even left the cutest little note and some treats for Willow for when I returned. My cat can be a little fickle and she fell in love with Jessica. I will absolutely be hiring Jessica (and if she wants to bring Simon along he is more than welcome). A fantastic sitter. And such a sweet woman. Do yourself a favor and hire her. The perfect sitter. My only qualm is my cat might like her more than me now, Willow is gonna book me a flight out of town so that Jess can return. Thank you for your time.”

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
