She was super accommodating and even let me drop my dog off at 6am. Throughout the day, Ann sent me pictures of Beau looking super happy. She also walked him multiple times and gave me written updates on how Beau was doing. Once I picked him up, he was extremely happy and did not exhibit any characteristics of anxiety. About: **I don't charge for additional pets!! I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! If you want to book further than 3 months just send me a message and I'm happy to work with you! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe. Each visit, walk, or stay is individual and entirely customizable for your pet. To ensure your pet receives the best care I require an initial meet and greet, or phone call so we can discuss what the ideal care looks like. I prioritize customizable care, communication, and enrichment to make sure your pet has the best 'staycation' ever!

“April was so kind, supportive, and understanding of my special senior!!! For context, my 14 year old dog was currently undergoing a med change due to doggy dementia so he needed extra supervision while we navigated this process. With the med change also came a lot of changes to his temperament/behavior. Despite being a super anxious, pretty reactive dog with a history of trauma (very slow to warm to strangers), April was so patient and empathetic to our situation and really went above and beyond to help us and our dog feel as comfortable as possible. I was happy to learn that my dog was even following her around a bit during his stay (which he doesn't even do with people he's met before)! I was so relieved when she sent her detailed text updates (with adorable doggy pics) and loved how proactive & transparent she was about making his next stay even more accomodating. We are definitely looking forward to booking with her again, 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. I also have an alarm system that is armed at night. I am happy to let dogs out in the yard and take them on walks. At my clients home I am happy to sit with your pets to keep them company and read a comic book, draw on my tablet, or play a game on my Switch.

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I’m calm under pressure, reliable, and always communicate clearly—your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 3 year old daughter and 6 month old son. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and babies. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.

About: I have taken care of about 100 individual dogs staying overnight at my home. Their age ranges from 4 months to 16 years. Their weight ranges from 10 to 130 lbs. I make every walk a meditation for me and the dog(s). I work on multiple part-time jobs from home with a flexible schedule throughout the week. I walk dogs four times per day if the weather allows. I fulfill dogs’ needs for physical and mental exercise by walking. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I have two kids to keep your pets accompanied. I have the knowledge for pet caring given my extensive experience.

“The pups had the absolute best time! Im always nervous leaving them with someone new but from the second they walked in the door they immediately made themselves at home which in an of itself speaks volumes of how comfortable of a space they provide. The yard is a puppy paradise with lots of plants and things to sniff. They provided great pics and videos and my pups came back each time happily tuckered out. If I weren't moving out of state we'd become regulars! Highly recommend”
