About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! My research schedule is very flexible so I would love to come care for your puppy anytime of day :) I am happy to come take your dog for a mini adventure, hang out at your house, or anything in between! If your dog would enjoy a furry friend, my dog can tag along or she can stay at home. I have experience with crate training dogs, walking/playing with reactive dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs.

“Jenna takes amazing care of our picky rabbit! She’s an excellent communicator and sends really sweet photos. It’s clear that our rabbit is happy and comfortable around her. We definitely recommend Jenna as a petsitter for other rabbits and small pets!”

“Jessie is wonderful to have as our pet sitter! She communicates well and was so great with Oslo. She is totally trustworthy and we will definitely be calling upon her again!”

“Lucy did a great job taking care of my babies ( 2 cats). They are street rescues and scared of anyone but me. But they came out to eat for Lucy and even let her pet them! And the most timid one let Lucy give her her pill-- I didn't expect that! Lucy clearly has a way with animals and I will definitely use her again and again!”

About: I grew up with a vet tech and animal trainer, was put on a horse before I could even walk and my first best friend was a Jack Russel Terrier. I have some medical and dog training experience thanks to how I was raised and do daily wellness checks on your babies, along with constant updates on how they are doing. I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them behind, so I do my best to ease any anxieties you have while you are away. I have class in the mornings for an hour, twice a week and work part time so I am able to be with and exercise your pets often. When I am staying at a clients home, I not only take extreme precautions and attention to detail to the animals but also make sure the household remains clean and maintained. This includes making sure the trash is minimal to none so animals don’t get into it, cleaning up the yard several times a day and wiping down floors so dander doesn’t build up.

“Michaelle was so patient and flexible with my changing schedule! My cat also looks very happy to see her in the pictures she sent while checking on him!”

About: Since I was 5, I've cared for a variety of family pets including cats, rats, turtles, and dogs ranging in size from miniature Pomeranian to Great Dane. In the past few years, I'm proud to have been the dedicated cat- and dog- sitter for my roommate and friends. I have experience with all ages: I'm no stranger to teething or to diapers and pills. I'm so excited to meet your furry friends! I currently work part-time, so I'm free nights and most mornings, and I have some weekdays off. I'm happy to work with you and your pet's schedule to make sure everyone is happy! Your pet’s safety, well-being, and happiness are my top priorities. While no one can replace you, I do my best to keep things as familiar and comforting as possible while you’re away. Let me know your routines, preferences, and any special quirks! I'm here to keep your pet feeling secure and loved until you're home again.

About: Hi there! I spent a year learning to care for dogs at a local rescue. I worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and had experience walking, bathing, feeding (including giving meds) and of course, playing with dogs. Currently I look after friends and family members’ dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own yet, so nothing would make me happier than getting the opportunity to care for yours! I also have experience caring for cats; I lived with two wonderful cats for a year and spent a lot of time caring for and cuddling with them! I have a very flexible schedule; I am generally available to care for your pet Mondays-Thursdays and occasionally on Fridays and weekends as well. Feel free to message me about scheduling! Generally, I like to make sure that each dog is comfortable by keeping a clean space and providing consistent potty breaks, meals, and walks. Snuggles and belly/head rubs are also provided as desired :) Of course, every owner has unique preferences/situations, so I do make note of and follow any special instructions/accommodations. Safety is super important, so I like to pay attention to a dog’s behavior and how they are reacting to their environment so I can adjust accordingly when necessary, such as crossing the street to avoid a potentially unsafe interaction with another dog.

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya and I'm currently a graduate student at UC Davis. I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As a student, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually create availability during the day, depending on your pet's needs. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. I really love animals and will do my best to care for your pet as you would!

“Tate was an exceptional petsitter going above and beyond to help us out. We forgot our tickets to a show at home and she was able to help us out by taking pictures of them. She also sent us lots of pictures of our cats while we were away. We came back and I could tell the cats had been taken care of very well. Highly recommend!!”

“She was so sweet and thorough with understanding exactly what I asked to be done with my dogs and cat 🥰”

“Amy is really great with my pets and I definitely recommend her!”

About: Growing up, my family fostered sick kittens and raised rats. Now, I love working with critters of all sorts, and I'd love to get to know yours. As a PhD student, my schedule is especially flexible over the summer. I am usually in Sacramento a few days per week and Davis otherwise, but I'm happy to work with your schedule. With reliable wifi, I'm happy to work from your home to accommodate your pet's schedule. Availability for frequency of potty breaks/walks varies; just ask! On all visits, if anything seems off, I will check in right away--better safe than sorry.

“Allison was a great pet sitter and I would highly recommend her. She was very reliable and I appreciated the photos she sent after visits. I could tell when I returned that our cats were looked after very well. I will definitely seek her out the next time we need a pet sitter.”

“Mya was awesome! My cat was clearly very well cared for and she did a great job and keeping the litter box clean. Would definitely recommend her to others”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, some reptiles, and the occasional horse for over 15 years. I’m observant and will readily communicate any concerns regarding pets’ health and/or behavior. I’ve been to get even shy pets engaged and even “chatting” with me :) I’m an instructor and graduate student at UC Davis. I work part-time and prefer to work with animals as a side gig :) I have pretty open availability, outside of the afternoons that I am teaching. While I do not offer boarding due to my own cats’ needs, I am happy to come to your home and carefully follow entry instructions. I am active and love walks and playtime with your pets, and love to give cuddles and pets as well.

“Danni took care of my 3 (crazy) babies while my husband and I were on an international vacation back in March and did a fantastic job! I barely ever go ANYWHERE because I fear leaving my dogs with a sitter. Danni made me feel at ease, so that I was able to actually enjoy my time away. She provided photo updates, behavioral updates, and questions when necessary! When we came home, the dogs and the house were just as we left them (if not better!). Definitely recommend Danni for her care, professionalism, and love!”

Sophie L.
“Sophie is my go-to whenever I need someone to take care of my Poodle. She is responsible, understanding, and communicative. Fluffy, my five year old Poodle who tends to be aggressive towards strangers at first, absolutely loved Sophie when they met. Sophie regularly takes her on walks and ensures she's well-fed. I can tell Fluffy always feels happy and safe around Sophie. Sophie is experienced and will respect the pets' needs as well as yours. She used to constantly tell me about the dogs she was bonding with at the shelter she worked at. I can ensure your pets will feel loved like how Fluffy does under her gentle care.”

Gwyn clearly has a deep love for animals and the experience to back it up. What truly sets her apart is her ability to handle special needs pets with ease and empathy. I always feel at peace knowing my furry (and fuzzy!) family members are in such capable hands.
