About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong, hands-on experience with animals in both multi-pet and individual home environments. Growing up in a household with nine cats gave me a strong understanding of different feline personalities, routines, and behaviors. I currently care for my own 3-year-old cat, which has further deepened my experience with daily care, health awareness, and enrichment. In addition to cat care, I also have experience with dogs through pet sitting. As a teenager, I regularly watched my neighbor’s dogs, and I have also pet sat and house sat for family members, caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve also provided overnight care, which taught me how to maintain routines, ensure comfort through the night, and handle responsibilities independently while owners are away. I’m also highly communicative and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care throughout the week. During my summer session, I’m available after 2:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, before noon and after 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays, 11:45 AM–3:00 PM and after 6:00 PM on Thursdays, and I have full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. This flexibility allows me to accommodate morning, midday, evening, and overnight care as needed. I am also available and willing to stay overnight when needed to ensure pets are comfortable and cared for at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize following all instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or outdoor breaks, and receive attention, play, and care based on their needs. I respect the client’s home, keep everything clean and secure, and ensure doors, gates, and safety measures are always properly handled. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!
