About: I’m a UC Davis PhD candidate who has experience with shy, senior, and special-needs pets. Every visit includes play, cuddles, and attentive care (not just feeding and leaving). I always send photo updates and can administer medications as needed. Fun fact: I once gave medication to a pelican! ❤️😸🐶❤️ I understand that every pet has individual needs, and I am especially mindful of each animal’s comfort level, particularly when it comes to administering medication. I have completed formal pet first aid training, including bleeding control and emergency response basics. I also have formal training in dog grooming and hold a certificate from a 30-hour grooming course. My grooming experience centers on safe, low-stress, in-home care for pets who are comfortable with gentle handling. I focus on animal comfort, clear communication, and following owner instructions rather than salon-style grooming. I offer basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, light deshedding, and general hygiene support, using owner-provided supplies. I do not offer haircuts, breed-specific styling, shaving, or heavy dematting. My approach prioritizes the pet’s well-being at all times, and I will pause or stop a grooming session if a pet shows signs of stress. In addition to caring for household pets, I have also volunteered at WildCare, a wildlife rehabilitation center in San Rafael. That experience required extreme attention to dietary detail, safety protocols, and thorough documentation since the animals' care plans were highly specific and needed to be followed precisely. I learned the importance of carefully monitoring health, behavior, and intake, maintaining accurate records, and communicating clearly to ensure continuity of care across caregivers. This is where my fun fact comes from: I even helped administer foot and oral medication to a pelican! As someone who has grown up with multiple pets, I’m especially mindful of multi-pet households. I keep additional-pet rates reasonable so that families with multiple pets can receive attentive, consistent care without feeling penalized for having more than one animal. When it comes to pets, the more the merrier! I teach classes eight hours per week, but my schedule is very flexible outside of my teaching times. I live by my calendar and plan pet care commitments carefully, and I’m always happy to accommodate pet parents’ scheduling needs whenever possible. This allows me to reliably offer drop-in visits and walks throughout the day, including mid-day check-ins, evenings, and weekends. For house sitting, I follow industry-standard expectations where pets are typically comfortable being left alone for 6–8 hours during the day. This allows me to maintain my responsibilities at UC Davis and a normal daily routine. Requests for pets that cannot be left alone for at least 6 hours typically fall into near-constant care and will require adjusted rates due to the substantial time commitment. I treat each client’s home and pet care routine with care, respect, and attention to detail. I am a homeowner myself, so I understand the importance of treating each person's house as though it were my own. I’m careful to secure doors and gates, return keys properly, clean up after visits, and leave the home exactly as I found it so that pet parents can enjoy their time away without added worry. I am attentive to every pet’s comfort level, especially when administering medication or working with shy or cautious animals. I provide clear visit updates and photos so there are no surprises, and owners know exactly how each visit went.

About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

About: I treat my pets very well. I will treat yours just as well. From babies to seniors, all breeds and all types of dogs and cats. I am an active retiree who enjoys volunteering for Meals on Wheels twice a month and Woodland's Community Care Car once a month. There may be days I am busy for half a day, but it wouldn't interfere with overnight and drop in care. I prefer to care for the client's animals in their own home. I believe the pet is more secure and less anxious when in their own home. I can stay overnight, taking the pet outside or, depending on the pet type, to the dog park. I can also walk the pet, even if its a trained cat! I will also water plants, bring in the mail, put out refuse cans, pick up poop, clean litter boxes, etc.

About: I grew up around animals. I love having pets and have taken care of a lot of them growing up. I have had dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, fishes, chicks and more. I love spending time with all pets! Pet care is something I do everyday. In the mornings, I take my dogs out for a walk and then another walk free I get back from work. I clean out my cat’s litter weekly and clean their food and waters bowls everyday. When it comes to taking care of your pet, I have full availability this summer! I can work mornings, do drop-ins and house sits if needed. I have a large backyard that can be used for playtime and a large crate if needed. I also have different types of toys and treats for both cats and dogs. I have spare leashes if needed, and of course quality time with your fur babies! When walking your pets, I’ll make sure of having everything they need such as their leash, collar, shoes, and a small water bowl for hot days. If they go to the park, I’ll bring their toys and play with them until it’s time to go.

About: I have been an animal lover from a young age. I grew up in the California Bay Area and over my childhood my family had various pets including chickens, cats, guinea pigs, and a dog. Today, I have a 3 year old tuxedo cat named Lola who loves her expensive wet food (and stealing whole sticks of butter off the counter when I'm not looking). I also grew up with a yellow lab named Sunny, who was with us for 14 years, so I also know how to care for dogs. I was especially involved with Sunny's care as he got older, and am comfortable administering medications and taking pets to the vet. I have lots of experience with and love for animals, and can assure you that I am an attentive, careful, and loving caregiver. Your pets will receive their meals on time, along with lots of pets, play time, and cuddles. I am happy to travel to your home in order to take care of your pets. Due to a small space and having a pet of my own, I won't be accepting any boarding animals at this time. About: Although I currently do not have a dog of my own, I have had dogs in my family since I was 8 years old and have learned that they can have the best and funniest personalities and I love making a dog feel welcome anywhere and that they always know that somebody cares for them the way they care for their owner. I’ve been pet sitting for over 3 years and currently have a cat so i know how to take care of them as well in case you have both cats and dogs! I’m currently attending Woodland Community College and am a associates graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Since I only go to school and am trying to work remotely, I’ll have plenty of time for your pets and most if not all afternoons of the week can walk them. I constantly make sure my pets are okay with what they’re eating, drinking, how they act, if it’s unusual or usual and take a pet’s physical and mental health very seriously as I’ve had to put down many of my family’s own dogs in the past when they became ill and know the emotional toll it can be for the owners.

About: I have always had a passion for animals and it seems they’ve always been drawn to me! Growing up my mom owned a small pet sitting business. We took care of dogs, cats, birds, even an entire farm. Over the years of helping my mom and pet sitting on my own, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and patience for all furry friends! I have my own small business as a licensed esthetician, so whenever I don’t have clients scheduled, I am totally free to play with your pets! About: I keep up to date on tips and tricks for dog care! I used to work for Bark Magazine, as well as a pet sitting company based in Davis. I have experience dog sitting all sizes of dog (from Chihuahuas to Danes!) as well as cats! I have experience sitting pups training to become well-behaved and responsible dogs. (behavior, potty, etc.) Message me and we can make sure your fur family is well taken care of! I am working full-time at the moment, so I am available most days during/around midday. I am good to work around your schedule if you have work during the day as well! If the ground/cement it too hot for walks I'll try to get dogs to play or run around in whatever area is available (backyard/larger living space). I usually like to take them to parks, when the weather is nice. I’ve always taken care of pets, whether for my family, neighbors, or clients! I often like taking walks during lunch so walking or visiting pets during that time is very normal for me. I love to use what is available to me! If you have a small yard or a nice walkway near your home, I’ll make the most of it. Same goes for cats, a good toy basket or a nice place to find them is always helpful!

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me.
