“Erica was amazing with my pup! She was patient and understanding. She was very flexible with me and Wren and I felt very comfortable with her the first time we met! I will definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Valerie is a caring and attentive pet sitter for our dog Cali. She gave Cali her medications on time and took her on daily walks. Valerie took great care of Cali, I really appreciated the daily pictures and prompt messages. I would definitely book Valerie to care for our pets.”

“Highly recommended Achara for your fur babies. She took our dog tucker on short notice so that I could go back home for the holidays. Tucker can be very timid when meeting new people, but he adjusted well and they treated him as their own. I was provided with daily updates and pictures of how he was doing. He came home happy and tired from playing so much! Thanks again, Achara!”

“Marya sent pictures often showing both dogs having a good time and playing. Our daughter picked them up and said the dogs were happy and taking a walk. Thanks Marya for taking great care of the pups. They will see you in a few days.”

“Kirsten was great!! She was kind and communicative by sending me pics/vids with updates and was very reassuring as it was my first time having my boy away from home. I would definitely trust her to watch him again, 10/10”

“Beyond fantastic! Kasandra kept our cocker while we were away for 2 weeks. Not only was he very well cared for—he was actually better than when we left him! He is way calmer and has better manners than he had at drop off. Kasandra gave me some pointers that will help me a lot with him at home. This gal is a dog whisperer!! I could not be more grateful. Thank you Kasandra!”

“Pontida took my chrissy in last moment, for a fair price, and with lots of love. She sent pictures with updates, letting me know that chrissy was ok and doing well. Chrissy had a great time and I could not have asked for a better pet sitter.”

“My dog was very comfortable at Julissas house and I appreciated the updates throughout the day. I felt at ease leaving him there and will be booking with her again in the future! ?”

About: I have always been an animal lover and understand that pets are part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m a proud dog owner of Aslan, a Chihuahua-Poodle mix, and I know how important it is to provide patience, love, attention, and a safe environment. I’m currently open from Mon- Friday from 10am- 7pm. Whatever your dogs needs I’m there for it. I will be available most of days except the weekends in the morning. I have a fenced yard and I do allow dogs to go on the furniture and bed. I also have extra leashes and blankets if needed.
“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

About: I’ve cared for puppies, dogs, cats, rats, and guinea pigs in addition to fostering dozens of kittens, especially those needing extra socialization, medical care, or other special support. I currently share my days with a small dog, two cats, and backyard chickens. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for decades. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet wants a brisk walk, playful attention, quiet company, or help taking their medicine, I make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I specialize in dog walks and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and small furry animals. Working from home, I have the flexibility to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. Please reach out with any questions, thank you! I am happy to take care of your cats, dogs, or small animals at your home. I am available to take your dog for safe walks on-leash or spend playtime together in the backyard. Would prefer a meet and greet with your pet where we can discuss your pet's health/medication if applicable, any preferences they have, and specific schedule details.
“I feel so lucky to have found Kathleen. She has such a genuine passion and love for dogs. My pup took to her right off the bat, I’ve never seen him trot off with a stranger so willingly. She is so knowledgeable and understanding, I felt comfortable leaving him with her through the 4th of July holiday weekend. She managed firework anxiety like a pro. She took amazing care of him and he came home totally happy and tuckered out. I can tell he had a good time. I will definitely be booking again.”

“While I was away, Sade had excellent communication with me the entire time. She sent pictures and updates regularly, which I really appreciated. She also followed the meal plan I provided perfectly and took great care of Peanut. I would definitely highly recommend Sade to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I will absolutely be using her again in the very near future!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Martha May while she boarded our dog, Loki. From the moment we connected, Martha was caring, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout his stay. She provided regular updates and thoughtful feedback, which gave us peace of mind and helped us better understand Loki's needs for future boarding visits. It was clear that Martha May genuinely cared about Loki's comfort and well-being, and he was well cared for during his time with her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to share helpful observations made the experience exceptional. I highly recommend Martha May to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. We would be happy to book with her again in the future!”

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

About: I’ve cared for cats of all temperaments since childhood and understand how important it is to maintain their routine and sense of safety while their owner is away. I’m not a “feed and leave” sitter. I make sure to spend meaningful time with each cat so they feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for, whether that means playtime or simply quiet companionship. I’m a PhD candidate at UC Davis, and outside of my teaching hours, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable, unhurried visits. After spending much of my day teaching and working with people, I genuinely enjoy slowing down and giving animals my full attention. As a homeowner myself, I also understand how important it is to respect someone’s space. I’m careful, detail-oriented, and always double-check doors, locks, and everything else before leaving so you can feel confident your home is secure. I also provide photo and update messages after each visit so you have peace of mind knowing your cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. Friends and family have trusted me for walks, feeding, playtime, and snuggles. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m dependable, patient, and love giving every pet the same care I give my own. I’m a full-time student with open blocks throughout the day and weekends free, making it easy for me to fit in walks, feedings, and quality time with your pets. I care for pets in their own homes so they feel safe and loved. I stick to their usual routines, give lots of playtime and cuddles, and make sure they’re happy while you’re away.

About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

“Michaelle did a great job checking in on my cat! She was super communicative, responded quickly to messages, and also sent plenty of pictures and videos during the visit! My cat looked very happy to hang out with her!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have had cats most of my adult life. Currently, just one senior cat. As well as my own pets, I have had experience sitting for friends and family over the years and love meeting new cats and learning their distinct personalities. I have lots of time to spend with your cats and give them lots of love.

About: I’ve always lived with cats and currently share my home with two. I also foster kittens for the Yolo County Animal Shelter, including mush babies (too young to eat wet or dry food on their own), those with upper respiratory infections, and those with special needs or who need extra socialization. I’m comfortable administering medications and caring for senior cats, making sure all their unique needs are met. I understand that each cat has their own personality and routine—whether they want playful interaction, quiet cuddles, or just someone to ensure meals, litter, and meds are handled with care. I’m calm, observant, and respectful of your cat’s space and preferences. My goal is to keep your cat safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your cat and making their day a little brighter.
“Kathleen took great care of my 13-year-old kitty with anxiety while I was away for the holidays. I appreciated knowing she was eating and using the litter-box because things can go downhill quickly when I’m out of town. Kathleen sent photos of my hiding kitty each visit and her check-ins gave me peace of mind over the holidays. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Bodhi and showing him lots of love, Chelsea. We really appreciated all of the pictures you took and brushing his long hair. We highly recommend you and will rebook in future.”

About: From a young age, cats have always held a special place in my heart. Whether it's interactive play or simply a cozy lap for cuddles, I make sure each cat gets the attention they deserve. I also send daily updates with photos and videos if requested, so owners can have a peace of mind, knowing their furry friends are in capable and caring hands.
“Steven is a wonderful kitty sitter! He always communicated when he was on his way to come feed, water and play with both our cats. He ensured that they got a good amount of play with their favorite toys (strings on sticks of course) and even got our old man to play a little more than he normally does. When we got back home, the cats seemed relaxed and content with Stevens care also! No one seem frazzled and they loved him too. He always sent us fun photos of them eating and playing. We really appreciate his effort and commitment to care for our kitties! Thank you Steven! We hope to work with you again!”

About: My name is Hannah and I am a lifelong cat lover. I had cat (s) growing up since I was old enough to remember, and I’ve always been smitten by their playful and curious nature. I have a 3 1/2 year-old male gray and white cat of my own that I rescued from an abandoned apartment. We enjoy going on lil walks around my complex and learning new tricks! Well, most pet sitting business is focused primarily on dogs, I feel it’s essential to give cats the same focus. I have had years of experience with all different kinds of cats and have even helped a family friends cat give birth twice.
“Isabella was a wonderful cat and house sitter! She did a great job with our cat and kept our home very clean. Most of all, our cat was very relaxed and happy when we got home, which means he was very content with Isabella while she was here taking care of him. She's a wonderful person, too!”
About: I keep up to date on tips and tricks for dog care! I used to work for Bark Magazine, as well as a pet sitting company based in Davis. I have experience dog sitting all sizes of dog (from Chihuahuas to Danes!) as well as cats! I have experience sitting pups training to become well-behaved and responsible dogs. (behavior, potty, etc.) Message me and we can make sure your fur family is well taken care of! I am working full-time at the moment, so I am available most days during/around midday. I am good to work around your schedule if you have work during the day as well! If the ground/cement it too hot for walks I'll try to get dogs to play or run around in whatever area is available (backyard/larger living space). I usually like to take them to parks, when the weather is nice. I’ve always taken care of pets, whether for my family, neighbors, or clients! I often like taking walks during lunch so walking or visiting pets during that time is very normal for me. I love to use what is available to me! If you have a small yard or a nice walkway near your home, I’ll make the most of it. Same goes for cats, a good toy basket or a nice place to find them is always helpful!

“Valerie was amazing! We reached out just one day before we needed someone to watch our dog, Choco, and she was incredibly accommodating. She was very flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything so much easier for us. Throughout Choco’s stay, she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time with her. We’re very grateful for the excellent care she gave Choco and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. We highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and communicative pet sitter!”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve had my own dogs for many years and grew up around dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. In addition, I did dog sitting for neighbors and families for several years when I was younger, helping with walking, feeding, and daily care. I’m very flexible and spend a lot of time at home. I work partly from home and partly in the office, but my schedule allows me to adapt easily to a dog’s needs. Dogs are rarely left alone, and I can adjust my routine to provide plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. Dogs in my care are treated like family. They are allowed to relax freely in my home, including on the couch. I live with two small dogs, so it’s important that visiting dogs are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I do not accept aggressive dogs to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for everyone.

“Kathleen was able to modify our two walks and turn it into a day stay so Coco wouldn’t be alone all day. Kathleen is reliable and conscientious. Coco took to her immediately & looks forward to her walks and rides around town (when it’s too hot to do anything else). Feel so fortunate to have someone like Kathleen take care of my Coco as if she were her own.”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. I do love cats as well, especially if they’re cuddly! My parents gave me responsibility of walking, feeding and bathing our dogs ever since I was 10-11 years old and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently work part time and am a student at UCDavis! I am graduating this year so I will have pretty open availability in the summer. My most free days are Wednesday-Thursday, with some availability on the weekends. I currently have a German Shepherd and she is an amazing dog. I try to take her on a a walk at least once a day and save time to play with her in our yard when I get home. When it comes to clients home's, I am a very quick learner and comfortable with doing what care is needed requested by the owners for each pet.
About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. If you’d like me to take your little one into my own home, we can talk about it and go from there :)
“Kathleen is all the things you want in a Pet sitter: responsive, reliable, conscientious and most important loved by my dog, Coco. She’s mindful of important things, like not doing walks in hot temps and figuring different ways to engage pups. Will be using Kathleen a lot!”

About: Dogs have always been family to me. When I care for your dog, I treat them with the same patience, respect, and affection that I give my own. I am a dog trainer with experience using positive reinforcement, reading canine body language, and building trust with dogs as individuals. My experience comes from years of hands-on care, training my own dogs, including my service dog, volunteering with rescues and shelters, and learning from every dog I have had the privilege to know. What makes my care different is that I pay attention to the little things. I am someone who notices changes in behavior, possible ear concerns, nail or coat issues, discomfort, or anything unusual that an owner should know about. My goal is not just to supervise your dog, but to truly care for their well-being and communicate with you. I have experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, from small dogs around 4 pounds to large dogs over 90 pounds. I have cared for bully breeds, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Goldendoodles, Poodles, rescue dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special medical needs. Caring for my own Golden Retriever with myasthenia gravis and megaesophagus taught me the importance of patience, careful routines, and individualized care. I also have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and cared for. When appropriate, I love adding personal touches, such as sending dogs home with a toy or making homemade treats. I always check for allergies and dietary needs first to make sure everything is safe for your dog. I believe dogs need both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Depending on the dog, our day may include walks, fetch, training games, agility activities, puzzle toys, and playtime designed around their personality and energy level. My home is a dog-friendly environment where I focus on safety, comfort, and making dogs feel at home. Since I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure every dog is a good match for my home. My goal is simple: when your dog is with me, I want them to feel loved, understood, and cared for—not just watched. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I care for my own dogs in the morning, so I am usually available after 11 AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays are great days for daycare since I am home and able to provide attention, playtime, and companionship. I also take an evening break around 6:30 PM for my dogs’ dinner routine and am usually available again after 8 PM. I am happy to work with each client to find a schedule that fits both their pet’s needs and my availability. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care while making sure every dog feels comfortable and happy. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer, and I use my knowledge of dog behavior to provide safe, patient, and understanding care. I focus on building trust with each dog by learning their individual personality, comfort level, routines, and needs. Safety is one of my top priorities. I am someone who pays attention to the details and notices changes that may be easy to miss, such as changes in behavior, possible ear concerns, nail issues, skin irritation, coat problems, or anything that seems unusual for that dog. I always communicate with owners if I notice something concerning so we can work together to decide the best care for their pet. I have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and cared for, and I understand that regular grooming is an important part of a dog’s overall well-being. I have created a dog-friendly and senior-friendly environment in my home. I have ramps, orthopedic beds, and accommodations to help small dogs, senior dogs, and dogs who may need extra support feel comfortable. I also keep dog first aid supplies available and take safety seriously. I have two furry friends of my own who enjoy keeping other dogs company and providing opportunities for safe play and companionship. Because I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure dogs are a good personality match before daycare or boarding. I also use separate feeding areas and safe separation when needed to help prevent stress and protect each dog’s space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and leave things the way I found them. I make sure your pet’s routine, comfort, and care are my priority. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and welcoming experience where every dog feels understood, loved, and truly cared for.
About: I have always had a passion for animals and it seems they’ve always been drawn to me! Growing up my mom owned a small pet sitting business. We took care of dogs, cats, birds, even an entire farm. Over the years of helping my mom and pet sitting on my own, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and patience for all furry friends! I have my own small business as a licensed esthetician, so whenever I don’t have clients scheduled, I am totally free to play with your pets! I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a small yard that has public access. I live with my 3.5 year old male cat, but he is very tolerant of dogs! Pet friendly space for your furring friends to visit!

About: I have always had a dog or some sort of animal around my home since I was a kid but know how difficult it can be to sometimes balance having adult responsibilities and take care of your pets, so I’m here to offer a way that you can have your life AND know your pet is always loved and cared for even when you’re away. I myself have a dog reactive dog and semi-stranger reactive dog so I am comfortable working with reactive dogs! My cat is now in remission but was diabetic so I am comfortable and knowledgeable in caring for diabetic pets. My history with caring for animals has been taking care of my own through a variety of things, and when staying with friends I have assisted them with their 13+ dogs along with other animals. I have worked in the veterinary field for a year at a large specialty GP/ER clinic so am familiar with health care for pets. I am very attentive to animals and am careful to notice anything out of the ordinary so you know your animal is in safe hands. In addition to my own dog and cat, I've also owned & cared for horses for 10+ years and have 4 snakes as well as arachnids if you find yourself needing care for more unique pets! I am a college student so have a slightly more flexible schedule & just have requirements to be able to care for my own dog, cat and horse but am able to add in your pets comfortably! I understand during drop in visits and walks you want to make sure your pets are getting maximized attention and energy requirements fulfilled and I am hear to do that for you!
“Elise is collaborative, communicative, and amazing with my dog! Because she has so much experience with vet medical and dog training stuff, she had totally eased mine and my dog’s transition to a new city. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for more than a just a potty break walk around the block. She really cares about helping these animals become their best selves, and it’s lovely.”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Cecilia is very professional and caring. She is a real dog lover! She and her dogs welcomed our energetic puppy and she sent photos and videos every day. We appreciate her work!”
