Pet care experience
I raced my old wiener dog once
I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner!

Safety, trust & environment
I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.
Ratings and reviews
Audrey was fantastic watching our two pugs and cat. She was very communicative, prompt, and reliable. Would 100% recommend her for house sitting and dog walking.

Thrilled with Audrey and her detailed reporting and care of our dog.

She was amazing! Took care of my dog, played fetch, gave her medication! Will definitely use her again!

Audrey went above and beyond! I felt really great with my cats in her care. She made sure each cat was taken care of, had their medication….and I even got some sweet photos! I rebooked Audrey immediately for my next vacation. Thank you!

Audrey was amazing with our Golden. She was communicative, got our pup to play and go for walks (she can be very sensitive), and took such great care of our home while we were away. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for someone they can trust with their animals and home.

Audrey was amazing!! Will definitely be booking with her again :)

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsAudrey can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I would love to have written instructions for any medication administration as well as a visual on how the dog is preferable to be handled during (I.e. if they have any commands like “place” or are given treats after). I would also love to know if any dog is reactive (I do have some experience but would appreciate triggers that I can avoid). In addition to that just any behaviors you may be working on like if they bark or jump and prefer me work on ignoring unwanted behaviors or enforcing them for good behaviors.
