About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I’m an attentive and patient sitter with experience caring for both cats and dogs, including shy, energetic, and sensitive pets. I adapt to each pet’s personality to help them feel safe and comfortable. I have cat sitter for friends, joined a friend on dog sitting trips via trusted house sitters, and also provided dog care in Davis locally. I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to provide attentive and consistent care. About: I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of pets for family and friends for almost a decade! Including: dogs (big and small), and cats (old and young). I can feed and water your pets, administer medicine, clean up after them, and provide loving attention and play. I currently have 2 precious cats and would treat yours as if they were one of my own. I work part-time, and with advanced noticed I can choose my workdays/work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I can care for your pets in your home/yard. I’m comfortable with pets that free roam the house/yard as well as with those who need to be crated and let out or taken on walks.

About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: I’ve been a pet owner since I got my first dog when I was 10 years old. Since then, our family has increased to 2 dogs and 3 cats. I’m currently working part time in Sacramento so I’ll have plenty of room in my schedule to accommodate for your pet care needs! I won’t be able to provide pet care in my current living situation since the apartment I’m in don’t allow pets, but I will gladly look over any pets in the environment most comfortable for you!

About: I have taken care of two cats since 2023, and have lived with two dogs in my family home since 2020. I absolutely love dogs and cats, and am willing to care for your pets with the same attention that I give my own animals! Growing up with different pets from fish, crabs, parakeets and hamsters is where my love for animals comes from and am excited to express that love in a way that is helpful to the community around me! I've lived in Davis for the past 5 years and as a former Unitrans employee, this opportunity seems like the best way for me to continue giving my efforts back to the city of Davis and its people! My schedule is very flexible currently and am able to help your pet throughout the day if need be! I am mobile and am able to make multiple visits to your animal in a single day, as well as take them on multiple trips and/or walks if need be. I have two dogs of my own, a Pitbull/Great Dane mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I know how much love, patience, and energy pets need. About: I do not have a lot of dog walking experience outside of my own dog, but I have walked dogs before. I am currently volunteer at a pet rescue and mostly with cats but have walked dogs for a few shifts. I do have a small dog at home that I care for as well. I have cared for a friends Guinea pig, and dog sat for my neighbor when I was younger. I may work with cats more often but I absolutely still love being with dogs and caring for them! I work part time, but have plenty of time on the weekdays after noon to go for walks which I love doing, especially with pets 🫶🏻 My backyard is small but still good enough for my dog to get exercise because when I’m outside with him I spend a lot of time there. I love walking and go for long walks with my dog as well. It will be the same with other pets I care for, I will spend as much time as I can with them and get them tired out.
