About: Dogs have always been family to me. When I care for your dog, I treat them with the same patience, respect, and affection that I give my own. I am a dog trainer with experience using positive reinforcement, reading canine body language, and building trust with dogs as individuals. My experience comes from years of hands-on care, training my own dogs, including my service dog, volunteering with rescues and shelters, and learning from every dog I have had the privilege to know. What makes my care different is that I pay attention to the little things. I am someone who notices changes in behavior, possible ear concerns, nail or coat issues, discomfort, or anything unusual that an owner should know about. My goal is not just to supervise your dog, but to truly care for their well-being and communicate with you. I have experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, from small dogs around 4 pounds to large dogs over 90 pounds. I have cared for bully breeds, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Goldendoodles, Poodles, rescue dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special medical needs. Caring for my own Golden Retriever with myasthenia gravis and megaesophagus taught me the importance of patience, careful routines, and individualized care. I also have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and cared for. When appropriate, I love adding personal touches, such as sending dogs home with a toy or making homemade treats. I always check for allergies and dietary needs first to make sure everything is safe for your dog. I believe dogs need both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Depending on the dog, our day may include walks, fetch, training games, agility activities, puzzle toys, and playtime designed around their personality and energy level. My home is a dog-friendly environment where I focus on safety, comfort, and making dogs feel at home. Since I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure every dog is a good match for my home. My goal is simple: when your dog is with me, I want them to feel loved, understood, and cared for—not just watched. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I care for my own dogs in the morning, so I am usually available after 11 AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays are great days for daycare since I am home and able to provide attention, playtime, and companionship. I also take an evening break around 6:30 PM for my dogs’ dinner routine and am usually available again after 8 PM. I am happy to work with each client to find a schedule that fits both their pet’s needs and my availability. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care while making sure every dog feels comfortable and happy. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer, and I use my knowledge of dog behavior to provide safe, patient, and understanding care. I focus on building trust with each dog by learning their individual personality, comfort level, routines, and needs. Safety is one of my top priorities. I have created a dog-friendly and senior-friendly environment in my home. I have ramps, orthopedic beds, and accommodations to help small dogs, senior dogs, and dogs who may need extra support feel comfortable. I also keep dog first aid supplies available and take safety seriously. I have two furry friends of my own who enjoy keeping other dogs company and providing opportunities for safe play and companionship. Because I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure dogs are a good personality match before daycare or boarding. I also use separate feeding areas and safe separation when needed to help prevent stress and protect each dog’s space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and leave things the way I found them. I make sure your pet’s routine, comfort, and care are my priority. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and welcoming experience where every dog feels understood, loved, and truly cared for.

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and am the proud dog mom of my own Husky–Goldendoodle, Nagi. Caring for her has given me experience with daily walks, exercise, feeding, enrichment, grooming, and understanding different dog personalities and needs. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets, and I know how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and consistent routine while owners are away. In my professional career, I manage programs for the State of California, so being dependable, organized, and communicating clearly comes naturally to me. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I make sure to respect the needs of each animal that I am around and only interact with them in ways that they’re comfortable with. I also have experience training dogs and would love to help with that if you’d like. I work from home most days so I have very flexible hours! :) I am a Neuroscience PhD student and can do pretty much all of my work remotely. I am very flexible with hours and will be able to give your pet as much attention as they need ! I can help however you need- I’d be happy to stay overnight if your pet needs it, though I can’t stay 24/7 since I have my own cat to take care of at home. I can take dogs on walks and give them lots of attention and play time. Or if your pet is more reclusive I can just provide some company as we exist in the same room. I’m super flexible!

About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood and have had the privilege to some part of my family. Besides my own, friends and family have trusted me with feeding and playing with their pets. I’m currently working part time and will have plenty of time to walk. Majority of the time it would include evening walks and sometimes morning ones. I will make sure to plan my walking route ahead of time, in order to avoid any hazards or potential triggers to the dog. Priority is a safe and happy pup, and will make sure not only the pathway is clear but that the dog feels comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age, including horses, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs. My experience with dogs has been the most consistent relationships from childhood into adulthood, I myself have raised my 13 year old lab mix since he was 3 years old! He is happy and healthy but I have so much love to give, I would love to meet your pets! I am currently working part time, traveling to Southern California every 5-6 weeks. My time is open otherwise during the week to walk dogs, check in on them, feed them, whatever you need! I’m happy to meet your pet in their environment where they’re comfortable and safe. I don’t mind long walks and could also bring them to the dog park for exercise if that is part of your routine.

About: I’ve taken care of six dogs before coming onto Rover. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, and taking care of dogs of different sizes. I work full-time as a closer at my current job, so I have free-time to be able to take care of animals anytime before 2pm most days. I can do 30 minute visits or longer — whatever you need for your fur baby. I graduated from UC Davis this year, so I’m trying to get hired in the environmental sector to start my career and begin a more typical work schedule. I have an apartment in Woodland where I spend time with my indoor cats. One of my cats is very friendly with people and other cats, but my other cat takes a while to get adjusted to people and other animals, so I only do visits at other people’s places. I treat client’s homes with care, and ensure I do not make any messes or overstep any boundaries.

I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. About: I have cared for a wide range of animals since my childhood on a small family farm. I have bottle fed kittens to goats, trained puppies to ducks, and cared for little piglets to senior dogs. I also have some experience with medical procedures with dogs and cats, to farm animals. Experience with cats with diabetes, pets with blindness, deafness, and immobility. I enjoy caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and good care and enrichment is always my top priority! I like to check on my animals and animals I’m caring for a minimum of 3 times a day for 30 minutes each. With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. With dogs I like to do a minimum of 3 walks a day followed by some of their favorite activities. I believe pets should be checked on morning, afternoon and evening at minimum. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.

I share my home with my best friend, who also has experience boarding and caring for dogs, and our Great Dane. We’re both comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I personally have experience handling reactive and dog aggressive dogs and understand the importance of boundaries, supervision, and safe separation.
