“Clyde was boarded for a week with Kathleen on New Years while we were out of town! She did an amazing job keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent lots of pictures throughout the trip! She was very vigilant in asking us how we have trained Clyde and what we do to curve some of his bad habits; she used the same training techniques that we use so it wouldn’t confuse Clyde. Kathleen also has her own pup (Honey) who played with Clyde the whole week. He came home super tired and beat (which is rare for him). The following days after his visit were also a joy because he still listened and followed most of our commands/routines. Usually when we leave him at my moms, he comes home and acts differently (bad) because she lets him get away with so much. Overall, Kathleen did a great job with Clyde and we will definitely be having him boarded with her and Honey again!”

About: i have had my lovely cat for almost 8 years now. i know there's still more to come because some of the things we've gone through are things i didn't expect to happen so soon or at all. the first unexpected journey was taking in another cat while a family member moved. my cat is an only child so having another cat in the house was not fun for him. it took some time for him to get comfortable around the other, but they eventually became friends. another time my cat had a procedure done and to prevent any infection i learned to give him liquid and pill medication.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and turtles. they were family pets and i learned a lot watching my siblings raise their dogs. i have a 7 year old cat that i've raised since he was a kitten. I have also fostered another cat for a few months. although introducing my cat with the foster was time consuming, it was worth to see them get along. I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.
About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age, including horses, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs. My experience with dogs has been the most consistent relationships from childhood into adulthood, I myself have raised my 13 year old lab mix since he was 3 years old! He is happy and healthy but I have so much love to give, I would love to meet your pets! I am currently working part time, traveling to Southern California every 5-6 weeks. My time is open otherwise during the week to walk dogs, check in on them, feed them, whatever you need! I’m happy to meet your pet in their environment where they’re comfortable and safe. I don’t mind long walks and could also bring them to the dog park for exercise if that is part of your routine.
About: I taken care of family and friends dogs which range from small to decently large dogs. While I was in the U.S. Army I worked and trained with German Shepherds. I have three cats and had the oldest for eight years now. I also have watch my family and friends cats so I sit both. If they are active pets, I can keep up with their energy. “Clyde was boarded for a week with Kathleen on New Years while we were out of town! She did an amazing job keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent lots of pictures throughout the trip! She was very vigilant in asking us how we have trained Clyde and what we do to curve some of his bad habits; she used the same training techniques that we use so it wouldn’t confuse Clyde. Kathleen also has her own pup (Honey) who played with Clyde the whole week. He came home super tired and beat (which is rare for him). The following days after his visit were also a joy because he still listened and followed most of our commands/routines. Usually when we leave him at my moms, he comes home and acts differently (bad) because she lets him get away with so much. Overall, Kathleen did a great job with Clyde and we will definitely be having him boarded with her and Honey again!”

About: My love for pets from a young age was so great that I willed my intense asthma and allergies to animals away by growing up with my childhood Jack Russell Terrier, Dash. For the canines, I have trained high anxiety reactive apartment dogs. and successfully established trust and security and worked together on their fears. For the felines, I adapt to their level of desired attention and mental fitness and remain as a constant presence - I don’t assume that they’re independent to be left on their own just because they are cats. I look forward to getting to know your companions and providing them a vacation too as you embark on your own~ I currently work full time (more detail in photos) and have a flexible hybrid work schedule to give your animals the attention they need and deserve.
