About: Besides caring for my own dog for nearly 13 years, including nearly a year of hospice care, I also have experience volunteering at animal sanctuaries and cat-sitting for roommates and neighbors. I consider companion animals to be family members, and the care I provide reflects that belief. I work from home, and my schedule is flexible, so I’m easily able to accommodate anything an animal in my care needs. I can provide multiple walks, feedings, and potty breaks a day, whether at your house or mine. Because I work remotely, I’m able to keep your dog or cat company all day. I have a fenced backyard, though it’s small, and I live near a dog park. I have a small crate and a larger soft-sided kennel that can be used if that’s something that makes your dog feel more comfortable; otherwise, pets are free to roam and are welcomed on furniture. I have steps to help smaller or senior dogs get on the couch, and there’s a dog bed in every room of my house. I only board for one client at a time, so your dog(s) will have my full attention while you're away, and you'll never have to worry about interactions with other pets. About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple pets before including cats, dogs, birds, and hamsters! I’ve grown up with pets so I’m very knowledgeable and experienced with pets! I can bathe, walk, and have my full time on your pet while you do what you have to!🤗 I’m available any time any day! About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. About: I have multiple years experience working in dog boarding facilities, as well as small animal veterinary clinics. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I believe in keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and following given instructions as closely as possible. I operate under the principle that as a sitter, I should do everything (and more) for someone else’s pet that I would expect a sitter to do for my own pets.

About: I'm a very responsible pet parent to my own senior Maltese. I can provide medication as necessary since I'm aware of the medical needs of my own. Not working at the moment and want to spend time with my dog and other babies as much as I am able to. I would treat your dogs as much as I care for my own. I have a fenced yard and parks in the area. This is a very dog friendly community. Regular potty breaks and walks are the norm for my house.

About: I worked as a behavioral tech for over a year where I learned all about behavioral training. I’ve had great success with my own dog at home. We have almost always had a dog in my house and know how important of a family member they are. I dog sit for several families when they go on vacation and have been doing this for about a year or so. My background is with children and have a lot of patience and love as a result! I am available full time as of right now. If this changes, I will update my availability ASAP. I wouldn’t be away from the home for very long most of the time. Any occasion where I would be away from the home for a significant amount of time, I would first make sure that the dog was completely cared for (fed, watered, pottied, and played with) before leaving. I will not be providing care in my own home. However, I do know of a dog park in the area as well as public parks for walks.

About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks.
