About: I’ve taken care of many different dog breeds and sizes, each with individual needs. I grew up with dogs and cats and have experience from bottle feeding newborn kittens to giving medications to senior pets. My schedule is very flexible, offering pet parents with a variety of pet care support to meet their needs. I work with clients to provide a schedule that works for them. Having fur family members in my home already does not allow for me to provide in my home support. I provide my pet clients with detailed notes on their pet followed by pictures, putting pet owners at ease while away from their fur babe/babies.

About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.

About: I have been dog-sitting since I was a child. Anytime my neighbors went out of town, they would ask me to take care of their dogs such as feeding them, playing with them, and taking them outside. One of them was a K-9. Since then I have volunteered at my local animal shelter, and I currently work with children who developmental disabilities such as autism. I’m currently working: Monday 3PM-6PM Tuesday 9AM-1PM, 3PM-6PM Thursday 9AM-1PM, 3PM-6PM Friday 2PM-5PM Saturday 9AM-12PM Any time not listed above is my availability. I have plenty of experience with dogs. I currently don’t have any of my own due to my household not allowing pets, but I grew up dog-sitting for my neighbors and have since volunteered at my local animal shelter.

About: I absolutely love all pets! I spent this past summer volunteering as a dog socializer and walker at Pets Lifeline Animal Shelter. I am comfortable around all dogs, all energy levels, I understand their body language, and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. I will dedicate my time to loving them and prioritizing your routine. I also have a pup of my own, a pug, who loves to get out of the house and is always curious! As a UC Davis student, I plan my schedule carefully to make time for pet care throughout the week. About: I've been raised with miniature snousers and poodles. Now I raised my kids with multipoos. Dogs are my jam 😀 and I love nothing more than their kisses. I am a stay at home mother that has nothing but time to care for your dog. My dogs are walked in the morning, afternoon and evenings. I have a backyard with a fence that the dogs can go out and get some air. I allow my two dogs to have time in the house while I cook which gives them time to relax and settle in the house.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of my dogs and cats since I was a kid. Feeding, bathing, playing and exercising them. I’ve pet sit for many friends and family as well and follow any directions for your pet care needs. I’m a stay at home mom looking to make some extra cash while getting to help you with your sweet furry friend so I’m schedule is wide open. About: I have experience working in dog boarding and daycare caring for a wide variety of dogs. I also have experience as both a kennel technician and veterinary assistant caring for both dogs and cats. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and sizes as well as experience with senior pets and pets with specialized care such as diabetic cats. I also have a little experience with other types of pets but mostly just rabbits. I am a first year student at UC Davis. I am a first year veterinary student with a varying schedule. Though most days are 8-5 the longest with at least a 1 hr break for lunch with some days being shorter and some having the potential to be slightly longer. I am usually free on Saturdays and Sundays and am therefore very flexible those days and my schedule is totally open. I am open for overnight sitting, evening pet sitting, sitting for a few hours while you run errands or go on a date, etc! I have a wide variety of experience that allows me to cater to the needs of your pet. Whether that is taking them for long walks on the beach, giving your anxious pet cuddles and pets, bringing my dog to play with your dog(s) and keep them company, playing fishing with your cats, or whatever I need to do to keep your pets most happy, healthy and comfortable in their home.

About: I've taken care of dogs for the last 4 years, with neighbors and friends relying on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have raised and trained a labradoodle puppy who is now 1.5 years old. I am currently studying biology at UC Davis. I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and on the weekends. I'm also available to care for your dog over the holidays, like winter break and Christmas. I have a fenced backyard with a grass area. About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. I love my at home zoo and taking care of everybody, I'd love to share that joy with YOU! I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule to accommodate all YOUR pet's needs! Weekdays are very flexible where-as weekends need a couple days notice. I follow directions diligently and confidently. About: I have had and taken care of pets (dogs & cats )pretty much my whole life. I take care of my neighbor’s dogs when they are away or just want me to check in on them when they are working. I have been retired for 5 years now. I would love to be able to take care of someone’s animal. Whether it be just a few walks or just checking in on them to make sure they are safe and happy. I can feed and change litter boxes, provide play time or just a check in while you are away. I know how precious our fur babies are to us as I have 2 cats of my own. I watch my neighbors dog and love her like she was mine. If you select me to take care of your fur baby I will respect you home. I would treat it as if it was my own. About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

About: People call me the cat whisperer because I am able to work with the shy and spicy kitties. I have volunteered at the animal shelter for 9 years. I have decided to take my love and passion for cats and share it! I am available as needed as long it is scheduled ahead of time. I can make most things fit into my calendar. I will only be providing drop in visits. I would care for your cats like they are my own! I will play with them, change their litter, food, and water dishes. About: I’ve had dogs, cats and maybe any other pet animal you could think of. Family friends and coworkers are always happy to bring me their furry friends. I currently work part time and my job has a very flexible schedule there will also always be someone home. Love going on walks or staying in depending on the pup! About: I’ve taken care of and owned dogs and cats since I was a young child. As an adult I have owned numerous dogs/cats and often pet sit or walk for family and friends. I’m very comfortable with senior dogs and puppies as well. I’m currently working part-time and homeschool my 8 year old son so I would have plenty of time to walk and play with your fur baby. When I'm not working I’m a stay at home mom and I would love to fill my time with some new furry friends. I would often bring my son with me as long as the pet is child friendly. He is very mature, loves animals and is very good with helping care for them. We are free Sunday through Thursday and some Saturdays I’m a very responsible and clean person. In my own home I’m very aware of our pets safety and will be the same in yours. I will respect any house rules that are in place.

About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. I have recently started working full-time again. But the animals are not left home alone, I live with other family members who are willing to help out when needed. My schedule varies, sometimes I work morning/afternoons, sometimes afternoon/evenings but am still able to make time for the pets! I treat all animals in my care as my own, with respect and love, whether they need a play buddy or just someone to cuddle, I try to give them what they need
