Chris C.

“Chris was extremely easy and pleasant to work with. From the start of our first meet and greet through the entire experience of having him exercise my pups while I was out of the country it was seamless and comforting to know they were getting so much attention. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos he would send. Will definitely be booking with Chris again soon!”

Jessica B.

“Jessica is the absolute best! We hired her to help walk our puppy and she went above and beyond to give our Peanut the best experience while we were away. She was flexible and communicated everyday sending us pictures which made us feel so comfortable being so far away. Thank you Jessica!”

Kendall & Buddy C.
“Kendall is an amazing doggy care person. She treats all canine with the utmost of care. Kendall's love for these animals is beyond the norm. Her and her husband are completely invested in the care of dogs who have been abandoned, have serious medical issues and given them the best years of their lives as a foster in their home. There is not much on this earth that Kendall loves more than the precious pups. I highly recommend her for Rover as she will give so much love and care to any dog fortunate enough to be in her care.”

Whitney M.
About: Loving and caring for pets has been a part of my entire life. At a young age I started caring for my neighbor's pets while they were gone, helping lost dogs find their way back home, and training my own dogs. I started volunteering at my local shelter with basic care and also taking dogs off site for some fun outside of the shelter setting- walking, rollerblading for more active dogs, or just hanging out in the yard and working on training commands. I do it all for the love of pets! I am currently a stay at home mom, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. School drop off and pick up times are all I work around. I'm also available weekends and evenings. I have a fenced yard that is cemented and turf. I do have my own pets so their safety and your pup's safety is of the most importance to me. My pups do not have free range of my home. With a spare room and tall gates I am able to keep separation if needed. I am also able to crate your pup if needed.

Maddie L.

“Maddie came to meet my pet family (two dogs and two cats). She knew just what do with my senior dogs. They were drawn to her immediately. She did a great job with the walk, too. Looking forward to having her back soon!”

About: As a dog sitter, what sets me apart from others is my unique combination of qualities and strengths that make me stand out. Some key differentiators might include: Great Flexibility: My ability to adapt to various schedules and cater to the specific needs of each dog and their owners sets me apart. This flexibility ensures that both the dogs and their owners feel comfortable and well taken care of. Helpful Nature: My willingness to go the extra mile to be a valuable resource for pet owners and their dogs sets me apart as a caring and supportive dog sitter. My helpful attitude and advice contribute to a positive and enriching experience for the dogs I care for. Dedication to Happiness: My focus on keeping the dogs entertained and happy during their time with me is a significant differentiating factor. My commitment to ensuring their well-being and joy sets me apart and fosters strong relationships with both the pets and their owners. As a dog sitter, I understand the importance of accommodating the diverse needs of pet owners. My schedule is designed to be flexible, allowing me to provide dog sitting services that align with your specific requirements. Whether you need occasional assistance or have more regular pet care needs, I am open to discussing a schedule that suits you best. Feel free to reach out, and we can work together to create a plan that ensures your dog receives the care and attention they deserve at times that are convenient for you. As a dog sitter, ensuring the safety, building trust, and creating a secure environment for the dogs under my care are my top priorities. Safety: I take all necessary precautions to keep the dogs safe during their time with me. This includes providing a secure and supervised space, using appropriate leashes and harnesses during walks, and making sure the surroundings are free from potential hazards. Trust: Building trust with both the dogs and their owners is essential. I approach each dog with patience, kindness, and respect, allowing them to feel comfortable and at ease in my presence. Regular communication with the owners helps build trust and reassures them that their pets are in good hands. Secure Environment: I create a nurturing and calming environment where dogs feel relaxed and cared for. Providing familiar toys, bedding, and routines can help ease any anxiety they may have while away from their owners. Consistency in daily activities and following specific care instructions contribute to a stable and secure setting. Furthermore, having a background in dog care and being up-to-date on pet safety best practices allows me to make well-informed decisions to maintain a secure environment for the dogs I look after. By prioritizing safety, trust, and creating a secure environment, I aim to provide both the dogs and their owners with peace of mind and a positive dog sitting experience.

About: People call me the cat whisperer because I am able to work with the shy and spicy kitties. I have volunteered at the animal shelter for 9 years. I have decided to take my love and passion for cats and share it! I am available as needed as long it is scheduled ahead of time. I can make most things fit into my calendar. I will only be providing drop in visits. I would care for your cats like they are my own! I will play with them, change their litter, food, and water dishes. I will make sure to give them that extra TLC while you are gone. Also, if needed, give space when the cat is uncertain of me and take my time to approach if they are feeling shy.

Samantha C.
“Samantha is one of the biggest dog people I have ever met and an animal lover in general. She is gentle and knowledgeable with all sizes of dogs and has experience handling them. I have no doubt your pets will love her.”

Morgaine D.

“Morgaine has been helping me with my dogs for four years now. When I got my first dog I was not sure how to train or exercise him, Morgaine jumped right in and helped me put in a healthy foundation for my dog, Dusty, and when I got busy working 12 hour days she took him out on walks and trails. Then when I got a new puppy a year ago, I had never had a puppy, she helped again with the training. Xena is a border collie mix and she was a God send helping to get her the exercise this high energy breed needs.”

Tiali G.
About: I am currently an Animal Science student at UC Davis and have over 7 years of working with over twenty species of animals including reptiles, amphibians, birds, and both exotic and domestic mammals. I currently work at the UC Davis Campus Veterinary Services and have previously worked at the UCD Veterinary Rehab Center, and San Francisco Zoo in their Animal Resource Center (where I have learned how to clean enclosures, prepare diets, properly handle, and train over twenty species of exotic animals). Last summer I worked as a PetsHotel associate in PetSmart where I was responsible for monitoring Doggy Day Camp with an average of 20 dogs per group, caring for boarding dogs, leading individual sessions with dogs, and caring for boarding cats. Not only do I have extensive first-hand experience with pet care, but I also have research experience involving animal behavior, training in raptor handling, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have two cats of my own and 15 other pets (all insects, reptiles, and amphibians)! I am currently taking classes M-F at UCD but have big gaps in my schedule that would allow me to check on your pets throughout the day! I am very open and available to do overnight stays and am pretty flexible on the weekends. Safety and trust are two of the most important things to me when caring for pets. For a pet to feel safe, I always take my time when greeting them for the first time, getting down to their level, and not making any sudden sounds or movements that may come across as a threat to the pet. This ensures an initial formation of trust between me and the pet. Following pet parent instructions is also essential and I make sure to be aware of the pet's needs and their preferred routine so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. Additionally, I am a very vigilant person and am always keeping an eye on the pet I am caring for, to ensure their environment is safe and free of any hazards and the pet continues to be healthy and happy.

“I have known Hannah for at least 5 years now. She is a great mother and pet owner. She loves animals and is very good with them. She recently watched our dog for two weeks straight while we were in Europe. She sent us pictures to keep us updated and reassured. She's also very active. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.”
