About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.

About: My experience with animals goes far beyond pet sitting. I began volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center at age 10 and continued through age 16, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. I went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology. I’ve also worked in multiple veterinary clinics as a surgical assistant and spent a year working in animal control. These experiences have given me hands-on experience handling animals, recognizing changes in behavior, following care instructions, and staying calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and routines. Whether your dog needs an active day, extra patience, medication or special care, or simply a safe and comfortable place to relax, I’m committed to providing attentive, knowledgeable care and treating your pet like one of my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and is something I genuinely enjoy. I have the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care rather than treating it as something I squeeze into a busy schedule. My days can include walks, outdoor time, play, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention, while also making sure pets have time to relax and feel comfortable. I’m intentional about keeping each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, including their feeding, exercise, and rest schedules. I also enjoy being active outdoors, so dogs who love walks and adventures will have plenty of opportunities to get their energy out! Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before their stay. My background in wildlife rehabilitation, veterinary clinics, and animal control has taught me how important it is to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something is out of the ordinary. I’m comfortable handling animals with different personalities and energy levels and understand the importance of patience, supervision, and a calm environment. I also love keeping dogs active with walks, play, enrichment, and outdoor time when appropriate. Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and care for them with the same attentiveness and respect I would want for my own. I have my own fenced in yard and a large sized kennel in my home if needed.

About: I’ve raised two energetic Huskies from puppies, so I’m no stranger to active breeds! Growing up, I also took care of a loving Golden Retriever, and have been walking and caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or playtime, I provide dedicated and reliable care. I now live in a house with fenced backyard + dog park. As a part-time worker, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide lots of attention to your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and for daily care or walks. I have a spacious, fenced yard, perfect for your dog to play and explore safely. My two friendly Huskies are great company for social dogs, and I’m equipped with crates if your dog needs a safe and quiet space to rest.

About: I love caring for dogs of all ages and sizes! My family calls me the “dog whisperer” and I’m highly reliable and can almost always meet your time requirements for check-ins and walks! I pay attention to detail in case your dog has to take medication or has other restrictions (diet, joints, etc.). I currently work full-time as a Law Enforcement Professional. I am typically working Tues-Fri 7a-530p. I am available to drop in and care for your fur babies any time around that schedule with proper notice. I will only walk your fur baby on the requested route should there be one, and for the requested time. During check-ins, I will make sure to clean up any messes made by your fur baby upon arrival and before I leave. If there are any special instructions regarding the care of your fur baby, I will be sure to adhere to those as well.

About: I've taken care of dogs for the last 4 years, with neighbors and friends relying on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have raised and trained a labradoodle puppy who is now 1.5 years old. I am currently studying biology at UC Davis. I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and on the weekends. I'm also available to care for your dog over the holidays, like winter break and Christmas. I have a fenced backyard with a grass area. Additionally, I also have a friendly labradoodle to keep your dog company. I can also carate your dog, if you prefer.

About: I have cared for a wide range of animals since my childhood on a small family farm. I have bottle fed kittens to goats, trained puppies to ducks, and cared for little piglets to senior dogs. I also have some experience with medical procedures with dogs and cats, to farm animals. Experience with cats with diabetes, pets with blindness, deafness, and immobility. I enjoy caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and good care and enrichment is always my top priority! I like to check on my animals and animals I’m caring for a minimum of 3 times a day for 30 minutes each. With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. With dogs I like to do a minimum of 3 walks a day followed by some of their favorite activities. I believe pets should be checked on morning, afternoon and evening at minimum. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.

About: I’ve taken care of and owned dogs and cats since I was a young child. As an adult I have owned numerous dogs/cats and often pet sit or walk for family and friends. I’m very comfortable with senior dogs and puppies as well. I’m currently working part-time and homeschool my 8 year old son so I would have plenty of time to walk and play with your fur baby. When I'm not working I’m a stay at home mom and I would love to fill my time with some new furry friends. I would often bring my son with me as long as the pet is child friendly. He is very mature, loves animals and is very good with helping care for them. We are free Sunday through Thursday and some Saturdays I’m a very responsible and clean person. In my own home I’m very aware of our pets safety and will be the same in yours. I will respect any house rules that are in place.
