About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I have multiple years experience working in dog boarding facilities, as well as small animal veterinary clinics. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I believe in keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and following given instructions as closely as possible. I operate under the principle that as a sitter, I should do everything (and more) for someone else’s pet that I would expect a sitter to do for my own pets.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have grown up with dogs in my home. For the past 8 years, I’ve also had a cat who has taught me so much about patience, care, and the unique bond we share with our pets. About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. I was recently laid off, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available pretty much anytime currently, weekdays and weekends. I treat all animals in my care as my own, with respect and love, whether they need a play buddy or just someone to cuddle, I try to give them what they need
