About: I’ve taken care of multiple pets before including cats, dogs, birds, and hamsters! I’ve grown up with pets so I’m very knowledgeable and experienced with pets! I can bathe, walk, and have my full time on your pet while you do what you have to!🤗 I’m available any time any day! I will make sure to send lots of updates and pictures:) I am available any day any time! I have a lot of time on my hands so my full attention would be on your pet:) I have a fenced yard and very nice walking space around where I live. I can take them on the walks they need and even bathing if they need, of course your details will come first! I’ll have my attention on your pet the full day and I really love animals and would like to use my time to care for them!

About: I have multiple years experience working in dog boarding facilities, as well as small animal veterinary clinics. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I believe in keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and following given instructions as closely as possible. I operate under the principle that as a sitter, I should do everything (and more) for someone else’s pet that I would expect a sitter to do for my own pets.

About: I’ve taken care of six dogs before coming onto Rover. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, and taking care of dogs of different sizes. I work full-time as a closer at my current job, so I have free-time to be able to take care of animals anytime before 2pm most days. I can do 30 minute visits or longer — whatever you need for your fur baby. I graduated from UC Davis this year, so I’m trying to get hired in the environmental sector to start my career and begin a more typical work schedule. I have an apartment in Woodland where I spend time with my indoor cats. One of my cats is very friendly with people and other cats, but my other cat takes a while to get adjusted to people and other animals, so I only do visits at other people’s places. I treat client’s homes with care, and ensure I do not make any messes or overstep any boundaries.

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. If you’d like me to take your little one into my own home, we can talk about it and go from there :)

About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

About: I have always loved animals. I’m patient, responsible, and comfortable with feeding, walks, and playtime. I’ll treat your pet like my own and follow your routine closely. I have open availability and am able to work around your schedule. I’m able to do multiple drop in visits with your pets. Whether it be the weekend or a weekday I would love to spend to spend some time with your animal(s). I go to the dog park almost every morning and have experience handling highly energetic dogs. About: I have cared for a wide range of animals since my childhood on a small family farm. I have bottle fed kittens to goats, trained puppies to ducks, and cared for little piglets to senior dogs. I also have some experience with medical procedures with dogs and cats, to farm animals. Experience with cats with diabetes, pets with blindness, deafness, and immobility. I enjoy caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and good care and enrichment is always my top priority! I like to check on my animals and animals I’m caring for a minimum of 3 times a day for 30 minutes each. With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. With dogs I like to do a minimum of 3 walks a day followed by some of their favorite activities. I believe pets should be checked on morning, afternoon and evening at minimum. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and turtles. they were family pets and i learned a lot watching my siblings raise their dogs. i have a 7 year old cat that i've raised since he was a kitten. I have also fostered another cat for a few months. although introducing my cat with the foster was time consuming, it was worth to see them get along. I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.

About: I'm a very responsible and fun loving dog mom to my own senior Maltese. Other owners say bringing their dogs to stay with me is like going to Club Med. Looking to spend quality time with my senior dog and other babies as much as I am able to. I would care for your dogs as much as I care for my own. I have a fenced yard and parks in the area. This is a very dog friendly community. Regular potty breaks and walks are the norm for my house.

About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. I was recently laid off, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available pretty much anytime currently, weekdays and weekends. I treat all animals in my care as my own, with respect and love, whether they need a play buddy or just someone to cuddle, I try to give them what they need

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. I do love cats as well, especially if they’re cuddly! My parents gave me responsibility of walking, feeding and bathing our dogs ever since I was 10-11 years old and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently work part time and am a student at UCDavis! I am graduating this year so I will have pretty open availability in the summer. My most free days are Wednesday-Thursday, with some availability on the weekends. I currently have a German Shepherd and she is an amazing dog. I try to take her on a a walk at least once a day and save time to play with her in our yard when I get home. When it comes to clients home's, I am a very quick learner and comfortable with doing what care is needed requested by the owners for each pet.

About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. I really love animals and will do my best to care for your pet as you would!
