About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my family my entire life and have always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for many years. I have two amazing little orange cats of my own, Fred and George (can you tell my partner and I are Harry Potter fans too?) They mean the world to me, so I know how important your pet is to you. I have experience with puppies/kittens, as well as senior dogs and cats as well. About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. I also have an alarm system that is armed at night. I am happy to let dogs out in the yard and take them on walks. About: I’ve been a volunteer at Front Street Animal Shelter for over a year, as well as pet sitting for friends and families over the past 5 years. My family and I have had several dogs over the past years ranging from large to medium in size, but I’m no stranger to small dogs either. I have also cared for dogs who required special needs care and attention for various reasons from medical illnesses to physical limitations and age. I’m currently a full time college student which means I can only offer services in the evening during weekdays. But, Friday through Sunday I’m completely available all day to provide care for animals as needed at times which are convenient for owners. When caring for animals I prioritize routine to avoid any unnecessary stress or anxiety. I start with bathroom breaks and handling food and water before moving on to play and entertainment.
