About: I have been caring for both cats and dogs for 10 years! I grew up with a pitbull, mini poodle, and recently adopted a jack russell, so I am well rounded when it comes to different sizes and temperaments of dogs. I also volunteer at a vivarium and have 4 years of experience when it comes to fish and reptile care if that is something you are interested in! I am very comfortable when it comes to caring for young and senior pets! I currently am a full time student at Sac State, but I have a lot of online course work. This allows me to have plenty of time I can spend with pets. At the latest, I get back from classes at 5-6pm, but many days I am able to arrange my schedule as to where I am only on campus until 1pm or even no classes at all! I also have full weekend availability I am very patient and calm, I have worked with pets who are more wary of strangers in the past, but I make sure they have the opportunity to come to me as they get to know me. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for.
