About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I have trained almost all my dogs since they were puppies. I have trained my own service dog. I have a passion for training dogs. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time to play with and train your pup. I can take them for daily walks around the park as well. I have a fenced yard and a nearby park to take your dog for a walk. I have my own friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a cat, but if your dog does not like cats, I can isolate may cat from your dog. My big dog seems to have a way of knowing how to make dogs feel comfortable in our home. He knows when to interact with them and when to just leave them alone. I am retired so I have lots of time to spend with your dog. I try to schedule my activities around when I have dogs, so I can devote all my time to caring for the dogs. I have a fenced in yard. I always supervise dogs when they are outside. I try to set up play dates with a neighbor who also works for Rover. My husband and family members are usually around to play with and take dogs on walks. I am currently transforming my services to focus more on training sessions in my client’s home. My main focus is working with young pups and to start training from day one, although I welcome the opportunity to train dogs of all ages. My goals are to offer support to dog owners on how to properly train desired behaviors in their dogs. I closely monitor all dogs, especially during play. I train the dogs how to play appropriately with each other. I will only crate dogs if it’s for their own safety. The only services I do in a client’s home are training sessions with the client present.

About: I have personal experience taking care of various different animals and owning various different animals. I currently have a 15-year-old snake and I have had her whole life, a one 6 month old kitten that I adopted after fostering through the local animal shelter, and one adult cat that I adopted as a rescue. I have over four years of experience, fostering cats, and kittens from local animal, shelters or nonprofits. I currently work full-time, but I am allotted two 15 minute breaks, a one hour lunch, open evenings and weekends off. I would love to take care of your fur babies during my off time. I would ensure that your pet is receiving pets, walks, food, water, love and care while you are away. Though I do not have professional experience working with animals I have been a pet owner my whole life and my fur babies are my babies so I would treat yours as my own.
“This was my first time using Rover, and Valeria was the perfect pet sitter!!! Great communication with visits as scheduled. My kittens were well cared for and she even took care of some garden watering for me. I hope that she will be available for all of my future pet sitting needs!”

About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).
About: Responsible dog pet parent for over 25 years! Experienced in house sitting and dog walking for extended periods. Currently, I work at the Elk Grove animal shelter helping to secure forever homes for the resident dogs. Prior member of a pet therapy team which made over 100 visits to nursing homes and Alzheimer’s care facilities. Experienced in giving pet medications and specialize in the small-medium size dogs, including senior care pups. Passionate about fur babies and will treat them with tender, loving care. Please note, an overnight sit is approximately 12-14 hours (arrival 6-7 pm thru 8 am departure) much like a person's normal work day/hours. I will leave in the am to service my other clients. If a mid day return visit is required, that is booked as a separate drop-in visit. I have a flexible part time work schedule. I’m available for drop in visits and overnights normally seven days a week, allowing for greater accommodations. As a trusted and dependable house and fur baby sitter, I provide tender loving care in your home. I consistently follow and adhere to daily routines as outlined. I provide daily updates with pictures during my visits and stays.
“Kim is awesome! She went above and beyond for our 3 kitties and even got our shy boy to come out and play. She sent us updates/pics each day which was so reassuring. We will absolutely be calling her the next time we go out of town!”

“Vicente and Victor are always responsive and reliable. I’ve booked them a few times and everything has been great. Thank you so much for taking care of my furry baby.”

“Brianna provided excellent care for our two cats. Both cats are very shy and she was able to charm one to playing with her. I will definitely choose her the next time I need a sitter.”

About: Hi there! I’m Irene a Vet-Tech of 11 years turned into SAHM. We live with our two sweet cats and a 1.5yr old toddler so we’re used to having a full (and slightly chaotic) house. My husband also WFH so your pet will rarely be alone! My experience in the vet field has really shaped the way I care for animals: gently, patiently, and always with their comfort and safety in mind. I’m comfortable with all personalities, from shy and anxious to energetic and goofy. I can also handle pretty much any medical needs your pet might have such as medications, injections, SQ fluids, nail trims, ear cleanings, eye/ear meds, even bandage changes. I know how stressful it can be to leave your babies, especially if they need extra care, and I want you to feel completely at ease. I send detailed updates throughout the day, along with so many photos and videos you may run out of storage. There will be no surprises about how your fur babies are doing :) If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring, this EG vet tech auntie would love to help you. Feel free to reach out anytime. Please message me about scheduling and how flexible the timing is! I am available most mornings and evenings and we can find something that works for all of us. I follow instructions to the dot. I am very detail oriented and insightful. I am constantly on look out to make sure your pets are safe and happy. I am an open book & love to give advice to pet owners because at the end of the day, a happy healthy pet is a happy life.
