Noel checked on our Maltipoo puppy Cinnamon while we were at work, ensuring she had all her essentials, a potty break, and fun play time. We loved receiving her detailed visit reports with cute photos of Cinnamon, plus specifics on whether she peed, pooped, drank water, and more. Cinnamon bonded with her instantly and it helps that Noel is getting dog trainer training. Cinnamon can be a bit fearful of strangers so Noel’s experience was helpful.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my patience, reliability, and caregiving experience. I grew up with dogs and have cared for the dogs of close friends and loved ones for many years. My healthcare background has taught me to be attentive, compassionate, and dependable, while making sure each pet’s individual needs are met. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need extra patience and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Im currently available at these time but can adjust on Wednesday and Thursday if needed. Monday, Tuesday,Friday Saturday, Sunday 7am-12pm Wednesday and Thursday 7am-8pm I provide a safe and caring environment for pets. At my home, I have a fenced yard, along with regular feeding and fresh water and plenty of toys. I’m also across a big park where I can provide exercise. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine closely, including walks, meals, potty breaks, and any special care needs to keep them comfortable.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I have trained almost all my dogs since they were puppies. I have trained my own service dog. I have a passion for training dogs. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time to play with and train your pup. I can take them for daily walks around the park as well. I have a fenced yard and a nearby park to take your dog for a walk. I have my own friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a cat, but if your dog does not like cats, I can isolate may cat from your dog. My big dog seems to have a way of knowing how to make dogs feel comfortable in our home. He knows when to interact with them and when to just leave them alone. I am retired so I have lots of time to spend with your dog. I try to schedule my activities around when I have dogs, so I can devote all my time to caring for the dogs. I have a fenced in yard. I always supervise dogs when they are outside. I try to set up play dates with a neighbor who also works for Rover. My husband and family members are usually around to play with and take dogs on walks. I am currently transforming my services to focus more on training sessions in my client’s home. My main focus is working with young pups and to start training from day one, although I welcome the opportunity to train dogs of all ages. My goals are to offer support to dog owners on how to properly train desired behaviors in their dogs. I closely monitor all dogs, especially during play. I train the dogs how to play appropriately with each other. I will only crate dogs if it’s for their own safety. The only services I do in a client’s home are training sessions with the client present.

About: I am 19 years old doing this so I can make some extra money on the side and currently take care of my older brother, who has autism, which has taught me how to remain composed, aware, and reliable in all situations. Those skills are easily applied to pet care, particularly with nervous, timid, or sensitive animals. For example, my own dog has depression anxiety which I make sure to tend to quickly! I can easily fit time with your lovely pets into my daily schedule. I'm free any time after 11AM because I get my brother on the bus at around nine in the morning. Since I'm still learning how to drive, I typically take the bus, train, or Uber to get around. The only thing I know is that I might have to wait until about 5 PM for my mom to return if she works overtime on a Friday, but that rarely ever happens. There is a chance that my schedule can improve so make sure to keep an eye out! I treat every pet under my care as if they were a member of my own family. Making them feel secure, understood, and loved is always my top priority. By feeding them on time, taking them for walks or play, and making sure they receive lots of attention and are comfortable, I try to keep things as simple as possible. I make sure they have everything they require, keep their area neat, and regularly change their water. To reassure the owner that their pet is happy, safe and in good care, I also provide updates and pictures

About: I’ve been bossing the dog-sitting game since I was a kid—always had at least three pups of my own, and I’m the go-to for family and friends when they need a sitter. I don’t just watch dogs I treat them like the VIPs they are. Your fur baby’s not just in good hands, they’re in the best hands. I also used to have a dog named brownie that was diabetic that needed insulin night and morning so I also have that experience. I currently have a job that is part time I work at a restaurant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 430 to 9 to 9:30 unless I get called in, which is hardly rarely I am available to do house checks walk dogs and house sit but I’m only able to housesit for only three days at a time. I make sure every animal in my care is safe and comfortable by providing secure, supervised walks and a calm environment—whether at their home or out on a walk. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, keeping them away from hazards and making sure they get plenty of exercise and love. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, always.

Firstly, Pedro was very quick with his response and confirmation of availability. I had to leave Sacramento due to a family issue and he confirmed the appointment even though I requested it at the last minute. He followed all the instructions I left written on my door. My dog eats a natural diet along with kibble, and he prepared everything as I asked. He took her to potty in the correct area and left everything clean.

About: I have always had a kinship with animals. They do communicate and I listen. I had my first cat at age 5. From there, it was cats, dogs, birds and even a horse for me. As an adult, I have also had a rabbit. I work remotely full time. I prefer to also house sit and have a place to work. For dogs, I do a short walk in the morning and long one after work. On breaks , I check in with the needs of the animal. I make sure the needs of the animal is met. Not just food and water but attention. Do they need love or play time? About: I currently have 2 dogs and have always had dogs in my home since I was a young child. I have been caring for them since I was old enough to start doing chores around the house. I also have experience caring for cats and have had at least one cat in our home for the past 17 years. I also have experience caring for other small animals and currently have a red-footed tortoise. I am a lover of all animals, and it brings me joy caring for any animals in need. Pet care is my full-time focus, meaning your furry friend will practically have me by their side 24/7. Because my schedule is completely open, I am home to provide continuous supervision, regular potty breaks, and endless cuddles without ever needing to leave them alone. For in-home care, I maintain your pet’s normal daily routine right in the comfort of your own home to minimize their stress. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, medication administration, and plenty of playtime. I also offer consistent potty breaks and exercise. I treat your home with respect, ensuring cleanliness, and am happy to handle minor tasks like bringing in mail and watering plants. For dog boarding and daycare, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in my pet-proofed home. Your dog will enjoy structured daily walks, plenty of outdoor yard time, feeding according to their schedule, and supervised socialization. We will stick closely to their usual feeding and nap times, with lots of indoor and outdoor affection. For dog walking and drop-in care, I stop by to provide stimulating neighborhood walks or 30/60-minute drop-in visits to feed, play, and provide potty breaks. I always double-check secure leashes and harnesses, wipe paws if necessary, and ensure your home is securely locked upon leaving.

Amanda helped me out when I last minute needed someone to take my puppy out for a pee break during the work day (I was working two hours away that day). She was very good with my puppy who is currently a land shark and can be difficult to manage at times. My puppy had a great time playing with her and was in a good mood when I got home later that day

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Vineyard on Rover is $21.4 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,995 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Vineyard. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Vineyard. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
