About: Growing up with dogs and cats, I have developed a lifelong love for animals, and this passion fuels my dedication to their care. While I am knowledgeable in caring for puppies to adult dogs, including basic training and behavior, I understand that each pet is unique. That's why I can provide personalized care tailored to their specific needs. I’m familiar with handling a variety of breeds and temperaments, ensuring your pets are in good hands. My flexible scheduling options are designed to fit your busy lifestyle, whether it’s for a spontaneous trip or a regular walking routine. You’ll also receive daily updates and photos, giving you peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I offer short visits in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Florin, and surrounding areas. Share your detailed care instructions with me, and I’ll do my best to provide the best care for your pets. Summer Policy: For your pet’s safety, I will not offer walks between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on days when temperatures exceed 77°F. Instead, I will provide potty breaks and indoor or shaded outdoor play to keep your pets safe and cool. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I appreciate your understanding. For dogs, I recommend scheduling 2–3 visits per day based on their needs and comfort level. For cats, we suggest 1–2 visits daily. As a part-time worker in addition to Rover, which provides a flexible schedule. I'll do my best to accommodate both the pets and owners needs. I prioritize safety and trust by creating a pet-friendly environment with secure spaces, constant supervision, and routine care. Whether in my home or yours, pets are treated like family.
“Kelli did an excellent job every day! She sent daily photos, and my cats were relaxed and happy. She spent time with them. When I returned, they were at peace! The cat room was clean, and they were well-fed. I definitely will hire Kelli from now on. I have a possible upcoming weekend trip in October and November. I will be traveling in January and during spring break. For sure, I will be hiring Kelli next June/July/Aug 2026, when I go to Japan for three months for a class and a pilgrimage.”

“She was amazing! Super reliable, communicative, and took such great care of everything while we were away. We felt completely at ease and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“I could not recommend Larisa enough! We're expecting a little one in July and our dog has been a little more clingy than usual so knowing we'd be gone for 10+ hours we figured to try a babysitter to stop in halfway to check in. She went the extra mile to make sure our dog was loved and not feeling abandoned, playing with her outside, giving her lots of pets, feeding her and spending a little more time with her. You can tell our dog, Renlee, loved and trusted her right away.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and I currently have two large (70+ lb) dogs. I grew up with small to medium dogs and before my current pups, I dog/cat sat all manner of dogs and cats from friends and family. I am very detail oriented and attentive when providing care for pets and have a calming presence that pets quickly grow fond of. I have experience with crate training, leash training and giving oral and topical medication. I have created extensive care documents for my own dogs and am happy to follow as many instructions for your pets' care. I'm currently unemployed so I have immense flexibility throughout the weekdays and weekends. I have availability to check in on, walk and house sit your pets. I'm happy to visit your pets and help with feeding, walking or any other specific care you need while you're away. I really enjoy playing with dogs as well and especially if they like fetch! I love to throw and unfortunately my dogs don't have a taste for that so I'm happy to keep your dog exercised. I also like to go on really long walks and sometimes run with dogs if your dog needs more exercise. Otherwise, I'm happy to cozy up with your pet and I can even stay overnight if needed.
About: I have regularly lived with and cared for both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I am a kind but firm caregiver and prioritize tailoring my care to the unique needs of you, your household, and your pets. Details matter! Rely on me to be attentive to the little things. I also understand the importance of trust and clear communication around your pets’ needs, and providing regular updates as needed. I love getting to know the silly little quirks and play habits of pets too! I hope you will allow me the joy of getting to know your pet(s). Lastly, I draw pet portraits - let me know if you would like more information! Im currently an on-call botanist. I am reliably available most weekends and some weekdays, and regularly update my schedule with my availability. I feed my own cat twice a day, but i have housemates who can attend to his needs if you require ongoing pet supervision throughout the day. I follow my clients’ lead when it comes to caring for pets at their homes and understanding their preferences for potty care, food schedules, playtime, medication, and other specific needs. I tend to take notes any time I have a question or observe something unusual, and prefer to communicate directly. I am flexible and always open to feedback. I do not take clients’ pets home with me.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including raising several litters of chihuahua puppies. I’ve watched every family dog and pup grow up, and took care of them from birth to old age. Through my experiences, I’ve grown to intuit animals and can pick up on and anticipate their needs. I love nurturing fur babies and making sure they always feel comfortable, safe, and loved. When it comes to my own, I have been a pet parent for close to 5 years. I have a 4.5-year old pup who looks like a mini golden named Leia who is my world and absolutely loves making new friends!! I also have a 2-year old maltipoo pup who is a sweetheart named Chuy and plays with every dog he meets, he’s a charmer. We recently have two additions to the family: 6-month old Zoë and Luna who are descendants of our Leia & Chuy 🥰 On Rover, I have regularly taken care of many different dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes since 2018. I’m very flexible and can be requested the same day. I will be sure to give you updates and send pictures and videos of your dog throughout the visit to ensure their safety and happiness, and to show you some puppy play time with my fur babies. When I'm home, I may walk your dog (depending on the weather), will dedicate time to play with them, and give them lots of wholehearted love and treats. I have a spacious home for dogs to run around and play with an equally spacious backyard. I also live in a safe neighborhood. I currently work full-time and hybrid, and my partner works fully remotely so your dog will always be in good company! First thing I do in the morning is feed your fur baby, let them outside to go to the bathroom, and take them on a walk. Once we return from the walk, Leia typically likes to play with your fur baby for hours, but also knows when to give others space when needed. Once playtime is over, the doggies tend to nap for nearly the same amount of time. I feed your dogs additional organic treats that we have, unless you'd prefer I don't or if they have allergies. Doggies are allowed on the furniture (with a throw blanket on top) for extra snuggles, warmth and comfort. After work, I will take your dog for another walk around the neighborhood and then feed them again. I please ask that you bring your dog’s bed so they have their own space when they need to take it. I have a fenced backyard so your dog can go to the bathroom and soak in the sun anytime. My partner and I also take the dogs to the park everyday after work and let them run around and play.
“Davina did a wonderful job of taking care of our two kitties while we were away for several days. Our girls received plenty of cuddles, playtime, and detail-oriented care. Davina provided thorough, timely updates and responded quickly to our messages. We will definitely book her again. :)”

Kristin is fabulous. My cats loved her. Without my asking she cleaned the litter off the floor and even watered the plants in my front that are not on sprinklers. She is very responsive and responsible and fantastic with animals. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing sitter for my fur babies. It makes me feel more comfortable going away. Book her if you can!
