“Vahid took exceptional care of Rue and Reo over five days. He provided plenty of photos and constant updates, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. He was very attentive to their well-being and even let me know when the weather was too hot for them to safely walk, showing great judgment and care. Beyond the walks, Vahid spent time playing with the dogs and making sure they were happy and engaged. It was clear from the photos and updates that Rue and Reo genuinely loved spending time with him. His communication, reliability, and genuine affection for the dogs made the experience outstanding. I would highly recommend Vahid to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and attentive dog walker.”

“Milagros is an excellent companion and walker for my dog Rex. Rex needs a walker who stays alert to his surroundings and is able to anticipate situations which might cause problems. Milagros handles all of Rex's anxieties and redirects when needed. Rex comes home happy and relaxed. Milagros walks Rex 5 days a week while I recover from a broken leg. She is on time, communicates well, and enjoys Rex. I trust her completely and am grateful to have found Milagros to help out for the next couple of months.”

About: I’ve had the opportunity to care for both dogs and cats, as well as other animals. I am comfortable with animals who need more attention, and animals of different temperaments. I am available most evenings and weekends for your needs! Presently I am returning to being fully self employed, so I am available at all times each day. You as the pet owner will know your pet best, so I plan to follow any and all instructions and feedback that you give me to make you and your pet feel comfortable and secure. I love to keep animals engaged through play, snacks, cuddles, or outside time (if applicable) so that you come home to a happy, relaxed fur baby. I am comfortable feeding, giving oral medication, and cleaning up litter boxes.

“JILL IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We have a very distrusting and behaviorally challenging dog, and Jill is beyond patient and kind with him. He loves her! We are so lucky to have found such a compassionate and trustworthy person to watch our whole pack! She takes her time and really got to know us and our animal’s needs. She goes above and beyond - your fur-babes couldn’t be in better hands.”

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience walking dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, and past experience working with trained K9s. Comfortable with all breeds and sizes, I tailor each walk to your dog’s energy level and routine. Reliable and attentive I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise, structure, and care they need while you’re away. Because I work from home, I have a flexible daily schedule that allows me to adjust my time around your dog’s needs, ensuring consistent and reliable walks whenever they’re needed.” I have a German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs and can offer both solo walks or structured pack walks depending on your preference. I focus on safe, controlled walks that match each dog’s personality, energy level, and training needs.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including raising several litters of chihuahua puppies. I’ve watched every family dog and pup grow up, and took care of them from birth to old age. Through my experiences, I’ve grown to intuit animals and can pick up on and anticipate their needs. I love nurturing fur babies and making sure they always feel comfortable, safe, and loved. When it comes to my own, I have been a pet parent for close to 6 years. I have a 5.5-year old pup who looks like a mini golden named Leia who is my world and absolutely loves making new friends!! I also have a 3-year old maltipoo pup who is a sweetheart named Chuy and plays with every dog he meets, he’s a charmer. We also have 1-year old Zoë and Luna who are descendants of our Leia & Chuy 🥰 On Rover, I have regularly taken care of many different dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes since 2018. I’m very flexible and can be requested the same day. I will be sure to give you updates and send pictures and videos of your dog throughout the visit to ensure their safety and happiness, and to show you some puppy play time with my fur babies. When I'm home, I may walk your dog (depending on the weather), will dedicate time to play with them, and give them lots of wholehearted love and treats. I have a spacious home for dogs to run around and play with an equally spacious backyard. I also live in a safe neighborhood. I currently work full-time and hybrid, and my partner works fully remotely so your dog will always be in good company! First thing I do in the morning is feed your fur baby, let them outside to go to the bathroom, and take them on a walk. Once we return from the walk, Leia typically likes to play with your fur baby for hours, but also knows when to give others space when needed. Once playtime is over, the doggies tend to nap for nearly the same amount of time. I feed your dogs additional organic treats that we have, unless you'd prefer I don't or if they have allergies. Doggies are allowed on the furniture (with a throw blanket on top) for extra snuggles, warmth and comfort. After work, I will take your dog for another walk around the neighborhood and then feed them again. I please ask that you bring your dog’s bed so they have their own space when they need to take it. I have a fenced backyard so your dog can go to the bathroom and soak in the sun anytime. My partner and I also take the dogs to the park occassionally after work and let them run around and play.

I am just a person who loves dogs/cats and making them happy. This should be a fun time for your little guy, and I can't think of a better way to spend my days! I have grown up surrounded by animals and have watched very diverse breeds including Pomeranians, Italian Grey Hounds, Pugs, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Huskies, Dachshunds, Shih Tzus, Aussies, Labs, Goldens, Corgis, and more. On top of my experience with numerous breeds I also have experience watching senior dogs, dogs needing anxiety medication, bathing dogs with skin conditions, etc. I miss having a dog to take care of, so I hope that you will consider me for your next service! I was also a foster parent at the Cat Adoption Team and have lots of experience with kittens and cats. My husband and I work together to provide the best all around care. We do have jobs outside of Rover, but I work from home 80% of the time, and my husband works from home 100% of the time. If we sound like a good fit, then I hope to hear from you! 😊 My husband and I can board/provide daycare for your animals any day of the week because of our work from home schedules. For dropins and house visits I am available most days, but usually not Tuesdays or Wednesdays. But feel free to ask, because my schedule is usually flexible! We have a fenced yard with chickens, and one cat. We are located in a quiet court with tons of birds and squirrels for your baby to watch.

“I had to find a last minute dog walker for Shabazz and Larisa responded promptly and accordingly. She was very nice and professional and took interest into Shabazz's routine as to try to carry on his typical walk schedule. She went above and beyond by suggesting she could check on him during the day as I was away on my work trip. I would definitely request Larisa again to walk Shabazz and most likely will inquire about overnight boarding since she gave vibes of a person who would take great care of your pet. Thanks Larisa!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I have my own cat, Button, whom I love dearly and have taken care of pets for my friends lately. I am in between jobs so I am free to work with whatever schedule you have. If you have leftover food that needs to be used, I’d be happy to not let them go to waste. I prefer to care for your pets in their home territory. I am very easy going and happy to follow any instructions you have for me.

About: I grew up breeding and training Rottys and have been taking care of animals of every kind since then. Training, washing, grooming and walking. I can do it all! Animals of all shapes and sizes are perfect! I work nights so I am available during the day to take care of your pets! I can be up early to take them on walks before the day gets too warm for their delicate paws. While I can't house any animals due to my own pets, I have found that pets always do better meeting someone new in their own enviroment. I spend time with them in the places that they like to lounge which creates a quick bond.
About: Greetings! I grew up in a home that could only be described as “animal-enthusiast central”—dogs, cats, the occasional parakeet, even a mouse or two. Caring for animals has quite literally been a lifelong habit, not just a job. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all temperaments and breeds (honestly, I haven’t met one I didn’t love). I’ve also volunteered with Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care. I’m comfortable with: • Administering medications • Multi-pet households • Special routines and quirks • Keeping your home in order (mail, trash bins, etc.) I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I give my own—reliable, attentive, and always tuned in to what your pet needs to feel safe and happy. Because I currently have a few stray cats who’ve decided my yard is their forever home, I’m offering in-home care only—overnights, drop-ins, or custom schedules that fit your needs. If you’re looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being, I’d love to connect. Let’s set up a meet & greet and make sure it’s the perfect fit—for you and your pets 🐶🐱 Pretty open to all requests and try to accommodate for last minute scenarios. I retired semi early so my schedule is fairly adaptable to all. Former 5-star sitter here, making my grand return to Rover after a brief (and not-so-passionate) detour into another career. Turns out, nothing compares to caring for animals—so I’m back doing what I genuinely love. About: I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family since high school. I have a dog, two cats, an 11-year old bunny, and two fish tanks. I will treat your animals as my own, and would love the opportunity to hang out with your pets! I have open availability, so I can walk your dog or drop in on your pets any time of day during the week and on weekends. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog who will be happy to keep your dog company. I have light-up collars I use at night for visibility as well.
About: I have taken care of my own dog, a big beautiful Shepard collie, for the past six years. Throughout my life I have dog-sat for many families; some neighbors, and some friends. Recently I've been caring for my friends chiweenie when they work long hours. Having been around and watched many dogs, I welcome pups of all sizes. I am currently going to college at Sac State, and have to be on campus two days a week, beginning in August. Besides those times, I will be able to be with your dog(s) and take care of their individual needs. I adore dogs and want them to be comfortable and happy with me, so I appreciate any instruction to help with that. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, to keep them entertained and get rid of any pent-up energy. If your dog has any problems with other dogs or people, I ask to know beforehand so I may plan accordingly. Puppies and senior dogs each have their own needs as well, and I am happy to accommodate both. I also ask to be aware of any dietary restrictions your dog may have, to be safe.

Milagros was fantastic! Our pup Zoey was so excited to spend some time with her and was super bummed to see her go. Milagros worked on some commands and doggo etiquette while she was here and was very respectful of our space. I can always tell when Zoey has a good time because she zonks out afterwards. 😴 I know Zoey is looking forward to more walkies and play time with Milagros soon!

My dogs have special needs and I’m very particular about their routines. Biljana did a wonderful job following my instructions, and reached out for clarification whenever needed. Having a sitter that my dogs and I trust makes life so much easier, I’ll definitely be booking Biljana again!

Aaron was so amazing! He went above and beyond to ensure our dogs and disabled father had everything they needed while we were away. He was only asked to walk the dogs once a day for an hour, but spent extra time and effort to ensure all went well. The dogs loved him and were excited to see him every day. Would absolutely recommend! 100/10!
