Please note I have a Kindergartener so animals *must* be kid friendly. I also have a kindergartner who absolutely loves animals and enjoys having a gentle buddy to play with. We take daily walks to break up our day, so your pet will get regular movement, fresh air, and lots of love in between. Pets in my care are treated like part of the family. We have a large, fully fenced backyard perfect for safe outdoor play, exploring, and burning off energy. About: I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. Trained, love and traveled across the US with my animals in tow with me. We currently have two dogs, Ozzy & Bear. I am retired and love to garden, travel and play with our dogs! We moved back to the Sacramento Area recently and would like to do something fun and thought pet sitting would fit perfect. No pet sitting at our house. Animals need to be in their own environment where it is safe and they are comfortable with their own toys & bed.

While working at a doggie day care training and boarding facility I was able to work with many different types of dogs! My property is large enough for dogs to be able to really run and play. I have a front yard fence to provide an extra layer of safety for anyone who likes to sneak out front doors. I always provide a little bit of complementary training to all of the dogs that stay with us. I feel that a trained dog has more freedom and improved relationships with their people in addition to the mental and physical enrichment they get from learning! 💕 dogs who stay with me will get a little bit of the following types of training: Downs sits downstays Fetch Leash skills Tug Heel Place respecting thresholds Understanding of dog psychology helps me to make sure that dogs have good play etiquette. Play is monitored to make sure that no one is getting bullied or being bothered if they want to rest. Complementary training and dietary suggestions are available if you are interested. I regularly have dog training clients as well as board and train dogs at my house so I’m only able to accept well socialized dogs at this time. My husband and I are both working from home so I have a flexible schedule to be there for you and your fur babies. My 2 dogs love company and are ready to play and chill with friends. I do walks before the temperature gets over 80• to protect their little foots 🐾 I have a fenced front and back yard for everyone to hang out outside and a pet friendly interior with a doggie door. I can easily crate anyone who needs it. Playing in the pool is always monitored for those who like to swim.

About: I have always loved being around dogs, showing them love and care, and then sending them back safely to their forever homes. I grew up dog sitting for family and friends, and even taking in strays until we could find their home again. I have fostered puppies and mommies and have cared for older and special needs dogs. About: I have loved dogs since I was a child, but it wasn’t until I was older that I understood I had a special connection with animals, especially dogs. Dogs who are normally afraid of humans snuggle up to me no problem and I have personal experience with my geriatric dog now. My confident, stern, yet gentle loving approach has dogs belly up for rubs and sitting on command. I love all dogs, even ones that can be difficult to deal with. I just quit my corporate job so I have a lot of time and flexibility to play with your dog, take them to the park, go for a walk, or simply keep them company. I can drive to your house for visits, walks, or take them to the park. I can also take them to my place for boarding or playtime. About: Ever since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets, from big animals, to cats and dogs. I can do everything from walks in the park to giving them baths. proper pet care is something important for your pets well being Currently I am enrolled in college at Sacramento State, my summer classes are online so there is time to check on your animals between my classes. How I care for my dog Is that she gets feed once in the morning and once at night. when I have time before class, excluding Monday and Wednesday this semester, I take my pup on at least a 20 min walk. She spends most her time outside, but sleeps inside at night.

About: I've taken care of my own dog and two cats since I was in elementary school. While the dog was the family's, the cats were my own, so I know a thing or two. I am open to almost any and all requests. I have pretty open availability for now, and reliable transportation to wherever you may need me to be. I am easily adaptable to almost any environment that your pet is in, and I can very easily do anything that your pet will need.

About: I've cared for pets most of my life, and have experience with cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, and birds! Primarily I specialize in cats and dogs, but am open to a variety of animals. To be more specific; I can't offer to care for the exotic, venomous, or, "dangerous" pets you may have. That said, ball pythons, hog-noses, turles/ tortoises, geckos, and lizards (like beardies and skinks) are all fair game! Currently, I'm fairly open schedule wise in general, and can often have availability to do 3 daily visits and/ or walks. I have part time employment but only get a few hours a week, so my schedule is pretty open. At the moment, I'm not available for overnight stays. SERVICES PROVIDED: In addition to the ones already on my profile, I can walk your pet for a few miles, play in a dog park with them, or just hang out with them for a while on their terms. The above also applies to cats, as well as just playing with them indoors. Birds, the reptiles listed above, rodents, and fish; I'm happy to drop in and feed them as needed. For cats, giving them space and a safe environment to explore and approach you first. If they're interested, play time is often very important to cats of various ages and breeds, so 10 minutes of playtime minimum is my goal generally. Beyond that, respecting their space as much as possible, and making sure they have plenty of fresh water and a clean litterbox. For dogs, getting their energy out through playtime and walks is important. The clients I've had prior, I also make sure their pets feel safe and loved, through lots of pets, or through giving them space.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember as I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I currently have a Doberman who needs constant care for his heart so I’m used to giving medications if necessary. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and zoos, so I am familiar on how to interact with animals in a way that respects both me and the animal I am tending to. I am available after 5pm Tuesdays, after 2:30 Wednesday/Friday/Sundays, and all day Thursday/Saturdays. Fridays and weekends may vary if I’m out of town or busy, etc. I care for pets in my clients home the same way that I would my own pets, and that is however they require me to care for them.
